The War for the World

Freddybeard

Pirate Captain
It is the year 5850, and the self proclaimed "Most Powerful Empire in the World", the Elentan Empire, ruled by Emperor Elhmic of House Illistar, seeks to expand across the globe.

However, its neighbors stand in its way, trying to defend themselves from the approaching Elentan armies. Will they succeed? Or will Elentan conquer everything in its way?

That's the story of this proposed game. As you can probably see, it has a Napoleon-type story to it, with one Empire trying to conquer the world while the other nations form a coalition against it. It is set in a medieval time, with crossbows, swords and all that type of stuff. Each time everybody posts or almost everybody, I'll advance the time by a year, aging our rulers. However, if two people are at war, the time speed will slow to a few days as battles happen and nations decide which side they're going to join, if they're going to join. Like any other nation building game, you can make alliances, enhance your military, play political games and such. And just to say, while this game has Houses incorporated into it, it is not set like CK II. It's more like EU 4.

I control the Elentan Empire as Elhmic Illistar, looking to expand my empire to more epic proportions. However, the other nations of the world, which are built by YOU, seek to stop that from happening. Create your nation from scratch, explore its lore, all that type of stuff. In the game, if it gets enough interest, I'll post the form.

It sounds interesting, although I'd say it's more similar to the heyday of the Ottoman Empire considering the Medieval timeframe. Lol.

The Napoleonic he is talking about is when the countries he was fighting banded together to resist him since alone they stood no chance

Well yeah but the Catholic league did the same thing against the Ottoman Empire. And that time period is more congruous with the medieval setting.

Okay. Tell me when you've made the overall thread then.

Also, depending on how many people we get and how much territory gets taken by other players, will it be necessary to play multiple nations?
