I think I may have even listened to you!
For the better part of a moment, a coldness settled on Noodle's skin. In that split-second, she quickly realized that something was still very wrong- perhaps moreso than before she woke up.
And then, one of the doors off to the side opened.
Out of the sheer plethora of character and creature before her, the one that attracted her attention the most would be this short, stout and cylindrical silhouette. The same one behind those doors.
It would appear that most others' attention centered onto him as well.
As they entered the wide-open room with that telltale air of leadership, her posture seemed to perk up.
The blue figure began to speak above the crowd.
What exactly... was he? The floating hands weren't very human-like, but the non-descript astronaut suit he wore betrayed no detail.
Right. He was still speaking.
Sounded human enough. Noodle would dwell on it later.
Each passing word the captain spoke came as an extra morsel of sense in this... nonsensical situation.
It appeared nobody else here seemed to understand why they were here- just as she longed to know.
In that, Noodle found a bit of comfort.
Nevertheless, it wouldn't improve the situation at hand.
With a bit of pre-context, this captain both introduced this place as well as himself. That was one pressing question answered, atleast.
The ebbing and flowing soreness of her injury aside, the name this short little character introduced themselves as would almost force a laugh from her.
Captain Blue S'Clues.
If it weren't such an alien situation, it would have.
But too many burning questions stayed in her festering and confused mind.
How come these... crewmates found her first? Before her friends? Bandmates?
Did they also 'find' the others in the room as well?
It didn't seem like the worst possible bunch- more friendly faces than not- but why? This was clearly some sort of spaceship.
What were they doing at the scene of her crash? On Earth?
Closing statements from the captain ensued, and the teenager would perk up once more at the mention of any questions. This would be her chance to act first.
Just a few bootsteps over, and the short Noodle would find herself a few feet closer to the captain- just enough to gather his focus.
Those eyes of hers could be felt peering, but not seen.
"Excuse me,"
With a single hand raised, like a schoolchild, the girl finally speaks up with as well-kept of a voice as she could manage given the circumstance. "Where and how- uh- was I found, exactly?" Came her Osaka-ben accent.
She realized that Blue had most likely heard this same question before- a good reason as to why Noodle tried to speak quickly and without incident.
Cafeteria.
