Backstory: Alice is the daughter of a charlatan preacher and a sick woman. Her mother was practically insane and her father made millions off a fake religion. He created a sort of cult and said that you must give 90% of your income to go to their "heaven". Her father was exposed on Alice's 17th birthday when he was too sloppy. Alice's father was publicly hanged and her mother ran from their hometown. Alice was left on her own with her father's inheritance. Now she writes fictional stories mocking her father's cult and religion. She also writes horror.

Backstory: Romeo is the second son of three to the Perry family, one that was once a shareholder to John Rockefeller's Standard Oil company. It gave this family quite a jump start and left them in riches! Of course while growing up rich did have its benefits, it is also what tore his family apart. Money, money, money! They began to horde it within themselves and it got to the point where his mother, father, and two brothers were stealing from each other and blaming the less fortunate of thieving to gain more! It was complete and utter chaos! Fed up with this business and his family, he left and traveled/stumbled upon Moon Lake. Finding it a unique, solitary and dreary area, Romeo has high hopes to turn this town into a cheerful and bountiful place thriving with people of all sorts! What better way to start than with children?!

He didn't particularly care about his status in the family, but rather cared for the well being of them. His father was in business with a ploughing company that helped Britain greatly with agriculture while his eldest brother worked in the coal company. Even his mother was gathered to help in the cotton industry, spinning and printing wool for export. It left his family better off than most others who were struggling to even feed their family. The idea that he would already have a job set forth for him sounded great, but he noticed a great lack in the education system. They were greatly behind France and Germany in the struggle for a better system. It might have made more sense to try for a big city rather than a small, barely known town of all places, but sometimes starting small was the best way to go! He feared he couldn't compete with others trying for the same job in a well populated area, and thus set his sights on the small town where he was guaranteed a spot! In such a quiet area, it could even prove easier to teach without disruptions. Even better that he could probably reach out to those who never had a schooling district to begin with. Finding it a unique, solitary and dreary place, Romeo has high hopes to turn this town into a cheerful and bountiful town thriving with people of all sorts! What better way to start than with children, and what more could one hope for then to advance Britain's education?!
