She sat herself down. Well, there is nothing more she could do, the very God himself came to visit. In a puff she put off her spell, and just sat there and watched Alreos went on ranting.

Sigh.

She passed on a mental sigh, as she looked onto Alreos. Bemusing the term that Alreos has referred to her as 'Loathsome Hag', she wondered could they even win over this fight should it boils over right now in the tavern.

"Humor me, Old God. Why did you even bother to come to meet us ? To gloat ? Or to show us a way to fight you on an even ground ?"

She asked Alreos, in a regular tone, but mentally being very sarcastic about it. Maybe a taunt to him might just let him slip on something that could take him down. But then again, He's been slipping as the God of Benevolence for years now.

"Given someone as Almighty , All knowing, as yourself, surely the God of Benevolence might bestow a kind act ?"

"Elf? Excuse you. Elves are cheap and lack vision, much like most of you," Alreos responded, crossing his arms and grinning behind his helmet. His grin didn't falter when Ari insulted his intelligence. Instead, he scoffed back. "Just how cross-dressing isn't a requirement to be an assassin."

He listened to his tirade about ants, his amusement being replaced by a calm, uncaring yawn at the end. "Is that all? You done? Am I supposed to feel threatened?" Alreos paused, staring blankly, then his entire body shook exaggeratedly. "Oooh! You're really scary!... I'm shook," he said with a drawn-out voice.

He stepped forward and crossed his arms, gesturing. "I would now proceed to launch into a nuanced monologue on the nature of evil, good, the balance between them - yadda, yadda, yadda - but let's be honest here: none of you really care about any of that. You want me off the throne, but you're not smart enough to realize that won't change much." Alreos paused, to let them ponder on what he was going on about. He frowned deeply as he continued:

"God? Yes, I am! What's that got to do with anything? Would you prefer Valerian? It doesn't matter what I am - if I was a powerful human you'd try the same thing. After my death, someone else with a similar position will simply take over. It's in the nature of things. People accept orders because they are well-aligned with their own intentions. Do you think soldiers would callously slaughter at my behest? Their loyalty comes from convenience, and when a new ruler takes over, he will either be convenient or he will be overthrown."

"Besides. Can you blame me for abolishing trash? I kill only those that deserve it. I'm cleaning up this world of the mess that you mortals have made. Valerian is evidence enough, and so are the hundreds of despots and conflicts that affect everyone, everywhere. Am I evil for mercilessly destroying evil?"

Ari Waesmor

Ari kept his hand on Elaina's head. "Intimidation isn't my thing. I don't want you scared. I want personal despair at your last moments when you realize that you've been bested by the humans you so look down upon. Your cliche yawn doesn't change that. You'll die, just know that. I may even do the honors in a dress with Stilletos on." He scoffed and shrugged. No shame in his game. Hell, he's openly said to the group that he was wearing female armor and his hair care made his hair look more.........feminine than most males (take Tyr for example.) "I've killed more without having to put on female clothing, buuuuut I do when I need to. Silk dresses are comfortable." There was a reason there were about 12 posters of highly wanted yet unknown assassins, both male and female. "My job isn't just putting bodies in graves. You have exactly 75 troops residing about 2 towns past Velspar City. They change shifts every 2 hours. The commander has 3 kids and practices nepotism." The only differentiation between Ari's assassinations and Spy Work was if he brought a body bag. He had a lovely little familiar who was feeding him information while looking for what he needed her to bring back.

When he rhetorically inquired Ari about how he was wrong, Ari waved him off. Killing people just for questioning his royal decrees and being a month or two late on taxes. Armed tax collectors with devastatingly hard taxes that anything not already a big business was impossible to maintain. Alreos would rule and no one would question it. Morality was completely subjective. His was the opposite of theirs. If he couldn't see it then......... "I can see that you absorbing your brother has fucked up your mind. Explaining current humanity to an ancient sleeping god who's never seen even 10% of our progress is worthless. Can you go away and prepare to die already? We got shit to do." Alreos was pretty much the embodiment of justice and order, just as Amos was the opposite. Ari was not about to try and convince him that he was wrong.

He took Elaina over to Anna when she inquired about a kind act. The question seemed sarcastic to him, but who knows? Dedicated mages have done weirder stuff. "Don't bother. His sense of benevolence is corrupted by his brother. We're trash to him. Evil."

He listened to Ari's words and shook his head at the end. He heard the request from Anna. "Two reasons, actually." The light coming from him resonated slightly,

He decided to humor her indeed. Alreos' helmet slowly turned in her direction and she could feel his piercing gaze going through her. As he spoke, he kept looking at Ari every now and then to underline his words. "For one, all of you mean well, which makes it even more regrettable that if you fight me... I'll have to respond in kind. But one can't fix the world with misguided idealism targetted at a supposed source of evil. Which brings me to my second reason - to tell you why your choice is wrong."

He looked away from her, not exclusively targetting anyone with his sight - he looked at the group as a whole - addressing everyone and his voice became calmer than before, like a soothing balm to one's ears. "Amos' destruction did nothing. The world is broken, just how it was during Valerian's reign... or that of his predecessors. Care for some examples?"

Alreos turned to Arabelle, pointing at her. He spoke in a very straightforward fashion, quickly and curtly: "Blinded by racial extremists with a grudge - they are scum."

He looked at Beatrice, gesturing toward her. "A near-anarchical society where power is taken through brute strength rather than wisdom - they are scum."

Bailey came next. He leveled a look at her. "Sold by slavers to be turned into a menial spy without free will - they are scum."

He glanced at Ari, who was the most defiant of them all. "I can keep going, or you can concur that there is something very wrong with this world and people are suffering as a result. I'm trying to fix this. Weed out scum using other scum - the Inquisition. Such pests will cancel each other out, or they will tire of fighting until they stop. Those who oppose me, on another hand, create dissension and that is something that's unacceptable as it creates disharmony in the system and creates more scum to clean up. It is better to rip out the cancer from the ground before it grows and leave the scar there as a reminder."

He looked at the group again, without flinching a brow. "My methods are extreme, but they're necessary. I've tried soft peace-making and it didn't work. So it is time for iron-willed leadership. Mortalkind has covered this entire world in trash and it's now my job as its demiurge to clean it up for you. With free will, all you've ever done is bicker, fight, kill each other, and complicate things beyond imagination, which is why I believe that mortals need careful oversight - not necessarily from me, but someone responsible who can look at matters without bias."

"Has my brother affected my worldview? Yes, no denying that, but my goal remains altruistic. Now, a choice stands before you: Continue to oppose me and bravely face your dark, if noble end - or don't. But as soon as you set foot within a day's radius of Toron, you will see hell itself with your own eyes: I will spare no earthquake, no hurricane, no plague to end you. And much like the courageous ant, you will see that a titan doesn't care if you don't bother him."

"You're welcome to resign at any time by calling the Inquisition and telling them you wish to repent. They will lead you to me and I will welcome you with open arms, absolving you of your sins, cleaning your names, and on that note, I bid you all farewell."

Light. Pure, blinding light covered everything as he began to say the last word, and his voice turned into a hushed whisper as Alreos disappeared. The light faded, and there was nothing where he once stood.

Aseal listen in silence as the two men bantered at one another. It came apparently clear to him, it was a game now of who can boost the most. He lowered his shield returning to his seat to continue to observe the festivities. Trying to partake in this conversation would only prolong this meeting, with his words most likely falling on deaf ears.

While he adjusted himself within his seat, a sudden scratching sensation emerged within his mind. His headache seemed to have worsened again. Suddenly a distorted voice called out to him. Proclaiming it had known the truth of his lies and threaten to expose this secret if he would not cooperate with its desires. This infuriated the man beyond the point of reasoning.

Within the depths of his mind, he spoke to the unknown intruder: GreenEyedStranger GreenEyedStranger (Invaded mind)
“First and foremost who the hell do you think you are talking to? How dare you lump me together with that vile fiend. You speak to me as if you know which way my heart wavers, but in truth, you know nothing about me. As for my secrets, I keep none that would cause me harm. However, if you are speaking about the one I'm keeping to hid my identity in order to keep my people safe, know this. If you utter a word under the watchful eye of this omnipotent asshole. I will personally décor this tavern with your entrails as I sing a child's tone. With nothing else to bargain with, begone from my mind with your empty threats and false knowledge before you invoke my wraith even further.”

Aseal would proceed to bombard his mind with images of past violence from five years ago, in attempts the block out the invader. Countless people had fallen beneath his blade and military might; Countless innocents slaughtered under the influence of Amos. In the midst of the battlefield within his mind, Aseal stood with a lifeless child in his arms. Trails of blood tears wept across his cheeks.

Covering his face once again to shield against the blinding light from the King. A dreadful sensation had washed over him; perhaps it was the Alreos that had penetrated his mind, trying to make him waver his allegiance. After the Kings departure, he arose from his chair only to smash it against the wall, “For the love that is all might. Somebody with better arcane knowledge then my own cast the bloody Anti-magic circle, before my mind is raped once again by this omnipotent false prick." He pushed towards the bar demanding ale to drown the depths of his mind. "With haste, please. so we can press on with this meeting and rid ourselves of this place."

"The essence of being human is in not seeking perfection. Being divinity, you'll never understand that." A king trying to enforce his will on the entire world to create a utopia. HIS version of a utopia. World Peace in his eyes, a literal unattainable goal without wiping out all life that could move beyond its own instinct. In other words, less species like humans and more species like ants. Ari could go get pretty much every newspaper in the last 3 years of either the Inquisition killing at his call or in his name and make an entire novel out of just those articles. Killing supposed heretics and scum, along with their spouses and children. Anyone could justify anything. To say that the world is broken is subjective. Right and wrong is subjective. Scum or Saint is subjective. Ari would never stand down to someone who believed themselves to be the authority on right and wrong. Ari agreed with his examples on who was scum, but then again, those were specific examples, easy cases of who's right and who's wrong, who is the victim and who is the perpetrator. Ari offered one last remark, giving Alreos the answer to his words, as if he needed them anyways. "We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness, Alreos. You long before me."

Ari turned back to the group as Alreos left. "As long as people exist on this earth, crime will exist. In Alreos's eyes, as long as crime exists, the world is broken. He's on a noble yet foolish and unattainable goal of purging everything that HE calls scum, enforcing a either/or view of morality and killing all those who don't fit it."

Aseal said that he had been psychologically invaded. "Misty is out gathering what we need.............."
"Misty is back, master!" Misty flew back in and landed on Ari's shoulder. Strapped to her side were about 5 Anti-Magic Scrolls. These would be used strategically
"It's about time to set out. Let's move to Velspar, some to the city and some to the ruins." Ari gave Aseal one of the scrolls. Simply having it on him would prevent psychological attacks, but it wouldn't keep Big Brother from hearing or watching via divination until he used it, which would expose him yet again to psychological attacks (Scrolls are single use items). "If anyone else wants one, I'll give it to you on the way. I will definitely keep one though." When Lucille expressed the need for transport, Ari went over and gave her 3 platinum coins, same as Anna. "Oi, things are just getting started."

It was settled. Some of the group woud go into Velspar Ruins to take on whatever lied there. The rest would go and clear Velspar City of Alreos's troops by whatever means. Ensure their silence
"LET'S GO!!" Ari barked out and jumped off the stage. Time to start

Keara barely registered Aseal's attempt to block the connection. Although the memories were passionate, Keara was trained well in fig magic, and had little outward empathy towards the tough memories.

"This one talks too much."

The voice continues, before the scratching sensation seems to dig deeper, as Keara tries to search for any arcane knowledge, or divine knowledge relating to Alreos...

None

"How disappointing... Perhaps I was mistaken?"

The voice murmured.

"You are no knight. You were not exiled. I can ruin you, can't I?"

Several voices of distorted laughter can be heard

"Maybe I do have a use for you, even if you are completely oblivious with the secret archives... For now, know that your secret is no longer a secret."

The telepathic link is severed after Alreos' leaves, trailing by a few seconds. This time, it does not leave a passing headache, however, Aseal may have felt discomfort from the scratching suddenly stopping.

Keara would smile, if she could. She had a useful tool, if she needed a body to fetch something or kill someone. This one seemed especially desperate to hide his secret, given his outburst. For now, she would bide her time.

"Let's."

Was all Keara said, accompanied with a wicked tone. How easy these minds are to bend...

And then she froze. Her own thoughts began to horrify her.

Anna Dawnne

A little dumbfounded on the 3 platinum coins Ari has passed her, since travelling to the next town wouldn't really need that much money. She brought herself onto her feet once again. Tracing her eyes around the tavern, she spotted an older lady and a younger lady together. That Poppy That Poppy And having the thought of compassion, she moved herself towards them, and slides up the platinum coin to the old lady. With a smile, she intend to make the life of the old lady a better one, before she stepped out of the Prancing Pony.

With a platinum coin she bought herself a horse. One that is of mature age, and of good breed for long distance, not speed. Using some coins in her pouch she purchased the necessities for the horse, before she led it out to the front of the tavern again. Getting herself a simple dark brown cloak on the way, she wore it, and pulled the hood over her head. With ample time, she prepared two spells for her journey.

Spell :Clairvoyance

Spell :Shield Ward

Clarivoyance would allow her to see anything that is hidden over the distance, helping her to detect ambushes, or animal trails. And Shield Ward would prepare for her physical atacks, or just simply falling off her mount when she rode. Both Spells are channelled onto her staff as the catalyst, to reduce the strain of her magical stamina. Her eyes went on a barely noticeable soft white glow, as her entire body passed on a flash of soft blue glow as shield covered her entire body. She didn't bothered with Anti-Magic, that Old God can spy as much as he want, some level of perversion he has.

Getting herself near Ari, she readied her ride.

"I'll be heading to the Vespar Ruins, take care and not die. I can't raise the dead." She said jokingly, before turning to the other's that are going to the same place. And when they are ready, she would ride off with them.

Beatrice wanted to respond to the others but her current knowledge of common was too limited to even communicate what she wanted. She could only join the group going to town without much of a word all the while rambling in draconic about the god that had shown up. "ithquent di benvolance sia tzarreth." she mumbled not really intending on hiding her distaste for what he said of her kind.

Her smile grew as Tyr approached her. It had been years since she had seen him, and finally, he was here. When he hugged her, Alex who was in her arms tried to pull away, so Bailey, for the moment, put him down and her arms wrapped around her husband as she hugged him tightly. Alex, ran over to Arabelle, taking a hold of her hand. Happy tears rolled down her cheeks as a soft, broken chuckled left her. "It took you long enough," Bailey said, briefly freeing one of her hands to wipe away tears.

She opened her mouth to repli, but instead puffed up her cheeks to pout. Reguardless of the fact he was eight, she still did not like it. Standing, she began to pack up their camp. Their bedrolls, and various scattered suppiles, the two of them travelled light, with very little personal items or..."Ow!" Anora jerked her hand away from the clasp of her knapsack, having accidently cut herself on the buckle. "I guess it's broken," She muttered, looking at the tip of her thumb as it started to bleed.

"Elaina, do you have your crystal?"
"Yeah. Do you need it?"
"Yeah."
Elaina took off her necklace and gave it to Ari, who gave it to Anna. "Take this Communication Crystal and get a hold of me when you're done." Inject some magic into it and one could communicate with someone else utilizing their magic signature. It's a fucking telephone, ok? A magic telephone. Elaina would be staying with Ari, so she didn't need it. He'd buy her another one.
Ari went over to Beatrice with Elaina. "Beatrice," he said to get her attention. "Translate this Elaina." Ari spoke a few words to her and Elaina translated and repeated them in Draconic
"wux re confnir mrith udoka ekess wer taoul. yth geou rigluin dout dastudr," she said to Beatrice.

While Elaina would engage Beatrice, Ari went over to Lucille. Ari couldn't tell if she was scared, confused, or just naturally shy. "You're with me, Lucille, along with Beatrice. You can buy a horse here or get something more exotic in Velspar. Things are gonna get real soon," he said with a smile at her. Ari lived for battle. Other than how look, act, and sound exactly like a female, every single thing he learned, he learned in the context of killing. He did the crossdressing long before then. He was ready to go. He didn't know about Lucille though. Was she always like this, or was she intimidated or insecure?

Aria walked around in the ruins , she could hear a group near by marching or just traveling into the area. She had an idea that would help her and kenoski get into a party to help take down the mad king.

Aria held her sword close to her armor as she walked toward the group hoping they would mostly let them stay over and not start a fight.

Kenoski walked right behind her as he held onto the grip of his sword ready for combat if needed. " my lady are you sure they will trust us " he asked Aria sighed " I'm really hope they do keno " she said calmly

Aseal paid no mind to the voices in his head. He greedily finished his ale with haste, only to be offered a better solution to his alignment than to drink himself into a stupor. Gratefully he accepted Ari’s offer of a scroll. He took the parchment and tucked it safely away within his coat pocket. The silence would bring him great joy from this intruder.

With his mind now free of any burdens, he went back to pondering his course of action. He was tempted by both aspects of the missions. One could feed his academic needs of ancient ruins and the other was the thrill of potential combat. However, today magical events had left a bitter stain on his soul. It left him a bit disheartening for any unknown mystic threats that may lay in wait in the ruins.

Finally with his mind up. He decided to head out with the group to invade the city. His blade would be more prudent to aid them with Alreos men; unless someone objected to his decision. “I’ll be tagging along with you lot.” Addressing Ari, Beatrice, and Lucille.

She...her smile fell when he walked away, but...she was still beyond happy he was home. They would have time to talk, and catch up, but for now, they I'd have something else to focus on. Bailey was untreated in going to the ruins, but Alex needed to be somewhere safe. And that's where her delimal came into play. She could take him with her, and bring him to Toron later, giving him and Tyr time to spend together. On the other hand, Father Bishop was the best bet of keeping him safe. But Aleros...when she put that into consideration, her mind was made up. Ruinsnwould be safer than dealing with a god. Especially when it came to Ari. Not that he couldn't protect Alex, he just had the habit of going overboard. With a sigh, she motioned for Alex to join her, and he immideatly ran over to her. Bailey squared down, kissing his forehead. "You ready to go adventuring with Mommy and Aunt Arabelle?" She asked, brushing his hair out of his eyes.

Alex smiled, "Yeah!" He was excited, despite the strangers. Bailey smiled back.

"Alright sweetheart. Go back and wait with Arabelle, okay?" She told him, sending jim back over to Arabelle as she made her way over to Tyr. "I'm going to the ruins with half the group, Alex is coming to. The city is gonna be to dangerous right now," She said, "If you want to go with Ari, I'll give you a comm stone." Everyone was getting ready to move out on whichever thing they were going to so she couldn't say much to him. She also wasn't entirely sure he was listening. Anyway, she went and joined Arabelle and Alex. "Arabelle, what are you planning on doing?"

War. Even when the land was rocked with vamine, she had never been involved in it. She was always in another world, surrounded by books and knowledge, away from the problem of the world. But by pure chance, she was going to be involved in this one.

"Thank you for the warning, Lord Stranger. May this self know your name for your help? This self name is Vale Frostwind," she said, smiling. She ran after Ari right after that.

The figure in front of her wasn't as simple as she thought. Their crusade would be against a god. Most religious crusade did, after all. It usually wouldn't be her concern, but with her glider nowhere to be found, she would have to tag along with the group. Vale walked to his side, and made a small sideward bow toward Ari, both as a sign of subordination and apology.

"Pardon this self, Lord Waesmor. This self has to ask Lord to allow this self to come with Lord to Velspar City. This self will promise to help Lord Waesmor all the way to Todor,"
again, she said with a smile, "this self name is Vale Frostwind. As an elementalist of wind, this self will do her best to help the Lord."

With closed eyes, Alreos meditated. Humanity. When given power, humans began to exterminate other species. Valerian was the catalyst - he gave the order - the problem is that the humans listened. The conclusion is that humans cannot be trusted with power or free will to utilize it. The rest of mortalkind have their permission for either pending.

The only way to save the world is to enslave it. Force those in it to be responsible and reliable. And destroy those who would instead beget unspeakable destruction.

The large double doors opened, revealing the silhouette of Sammaster. "My lord. I'm here."

Alreos' eyes shot open, blue at first, but after blinking, they turned into fiery, orange wells of power. He faced his servant with nonchalant calmness, then asked, "Has the correspondence arrived yet?"

"Yes. General Hithjay details Vendi-Ka with no small amount of passion. It'd be disturbing if he wasn't previously an archeologist. I've already sent him a reply to minimize such unnecessities in the future." Sammaster rolled his eyes under his helmet. "But, you know. I'd treat incompetence with more---"

Alreos scowled. "He is hardly incompetent. Unfocused, yes. But not incompetent. Having a specialist on our side has perks."

Sammaster didn't respond. He had no need to. Instead, he changed the topic. "That reminds me. Everything is proceeding as you have foreseen. The construction of the Shardheart is nearly over, but we are running out of resources. The engineers require the last component to finish their labor," he disclosed.

Alreos stared at him with narrow eyes. He lifted his chin slightly, blinking. "And what would that be?"

"The power source, sir."

A moment of silence. Alreos sighed, closing his eyes shut. "I'll find you a power source." He opened them again. "Now, off you go."

Sammaster wordlessly spun around on the spot and marched out, the door closing behind him by itself. Alreos watched him leave with gloomy eyes. Where would he find a mythallar in this place and time?

*

The sound of marching feet came to a stop. A simple team of four soldiers, each one dressed in silver armor with carvings and runes etched all over it. Under their armor, chainmail robes could be seen slightly sticking out, and further under them, ceremonial dark red cloth. They held spears in their hands, masterwork and magical. "The High King wishes to see you both in his private chamber," their leader said.

Fen'Harel had just finished skinning the deer and salting some of the meat before he heard Anora's cry of pain. Apparently one of the buckles had been broken and she accidentally poked herself. He sighed, she was just a child on a journey no child should be on, therefore she must mature. He walked over and gave her a rag.

"Hold this on your thumb, and apply pressure. That will stop the bleeding. Let me fix this buckle..."

A buckle was an easy fix, only because such a thing is essential for long journeys. He easily replaced it with a spare, and he grabbed some medical supplies and stuffed them where they should be.

"Let me finish up with the deer and we can be on our way. The next town over should be Velspar, we can head into town here and sell the hide for money to use there. Stay by my side at all costs, humans Don't likes us elluven (Elves in elvish) at all. It is best to go in and out as quickly as possible."

Keara was growing impatient. She followed the group, seeming as if her attention was caught as Anna made a passing remark on raising the dead. She noticed several others in the group, though they didn't seem to acknowledge her.

"Fortunately, I can... In a way."

She said in a rare display of humor

"What exactly is needed of us here? I'm afraid I wasn't paying much attention to the stranger who wanted us to come here."

In the meantime, she took out a piece of parchment. It had a nearly complete ink sketch of a human woman with long flowing hair, though half her body was decaying on the spot... Aside from painting, she was quite skilled with a quill, and she worked on her sketches whenever she had downtime from studying and her canvas art.

Ari Waesmor
Ari decided to not comment on her language of choice. It really wasn't that important. "Glad to have you aboard, Vale. We're heading to the city to clear out Alreos's troops." There were a lot of troops in Velspar City. They'd have to divide and conquer, then launch something massive to clear the rest.
"If that's everyone, off we go. Lucille, take my horse and buy new transport in Velspar City. I won't be needing it." Misty awaited, in massive form. Ari pat her head and got on her back. Ari planned to diverge once they got close to Velspar so he could go ahead and take up position.

Elaina relayed Beatrice's question to Ari. "What we're gonna do is pick off the force. Isolate and conquer the low hanging fruit. When we get enough, we're gonna get a huge disruption in place, then scatter them from the city. Force them to regroup. We'll be best in taking out the mages first, all the way to the Paladins and Heavy fighters. They're the slowest movers so it'll take them the longest to get back to Toron."
His group set out for Velspar City, the right of 2 paths. The trip wouldn't take all that long, but the path would give him a bit of time to brief and discuss the plan before the action started.
"Who amongst us has a Communication Crystal? I'm splitting as we go to the city and we all need to keep in contact." he asked. He needed to get a gauge on what everyone needed. "If any of you need anything, tell me now because I have to go get the shit. Potions, weaponry, armor, transport, etc."
A thought crossed his mind that he almost forgot. "Misty, when we split, I'll need some of your power."
Misty immediately got flustered and a huge blush crossed her face and she put her head down to keep him from seeing it. Being bonded though, Ari felt a slight burn in his own face. She was obviously pleased about whatever Ari was talking about. "We haven't done that in forever master!"
Ari huffed a sigh. "Well I typically prefer to keep you physically around, but the situation looks a bit different this time around."
"We get to become one, master, so I'm always ready. Use me as you will."
"Oi, stop making things weird, Misty." Ari said

“My name is Aseal.” Speaking softly as tried to avoid drawing the other members attention to himself as he answered Vale inquire of his name. With everything said and down he shifted his attention back to Ari. He paused a moment thinking about the man’s offer for equipment. Examining the others he tried to gauge some weakness within the group.

“An extra bow and knife would be useful.” He spoke cautiously while still contemplating on potential threats, “If we're going to pick them off one at a time, long range would be our safest bet to engage our enemy. A natural distraction could play into our favor to pick off these units without notice. Perhaps a fire?” He placed a hand over his mouth as he pondered on anything else. Suddenly he recalled the dilemma he had within their first engagement Ethan and his forces.

“They say the sword is the prince of all weapons, but the king is the spear. I doubt this place has a guandao lying around, so a boar spear would be a nice addition. That is if you don’t mind.” Aseal couldn’t help but recall his father ferocity when he wielded his spear. Having that on his side would bring him some comforts of home.

Beatrice was quick to poit out what she was missing. "Armor, Comm crystal." she said happy to see comm crystals were a universal commodity. Though she needed it for more then the mission.

Marianne Basil
Marianne was in the process of selecting her men when the soldiers arrived, she was picking out the more unique of her followers to find ways to counteract Ari's familiars, them being more pesky abilities in his disposal. And so, when the soldiers came, her brows knitted with irritation, irritation from having her lines of thoughts broken, but once she heard that they were send by Alreos, she reeled her anger in somewhat, knowing this to be important.

"Very well, take me to him." she said, slamming her tome close as she stood up from her seat.

(Sorry for the late response. I was busy with something.)

Anna Dawnne

And away they left, Anna headed for the left on the fork, and the rest that is headed for the city that is lead by Ari went to the right. The communication amulet would prove to be rather useful in such times. Although she never needed it when she was alone, now she is with a party that is divided. Noting of her members, she rode in the middle of them, not being the last, nor the first. Her eyes gleaming from one corner of to another, with her spell activated, looking for traps, and people that springs them. One thing that she noticed however, that the not all the party members shared of the same alignment. For example, Aseal and Vale bears a neutral light to their aura, where Keara bears a slight malevolence in hers. Maybe it was her innate nature of a dark creature, but Anna hoped that she is wrong. Well, the lady and the weird knight the day before certainly was of evil origin.

It took a while, but she did not keep track of the time, but they've finally arrived upon the entrance to the ruins. Her horse have refused to go near even to the entrance, and she have to dismount and tie her there before taking a short walk towards it. Certainly her spell to her eyes picked up something of this place. A dense and powerful thing resides deep within the ruins. Yet, also something that contained immerse magical energy also resides inside the ruins.

Not wanting to be the first to be inside, she waited for her comrades whom she travelled with once more.
