I'm lost
In a single instant, the fighting had begun. Ethan’s forces made the first move against them, sadly none made a move towards him. Good, it gave him just enough time to seek out weak points within their forces. Aseal watched as Ari had Ethan on the offensive with his throwing knives, he paid attention to the creature's movements trying to find his rhythm. 1…..2….. watching each step Ethan made was important and what was truly crucial was the next throw Ari made. ….3. At that exact moment, he would lob his shield with all his might to Ethan's side. His goal was to catch him at just the right moment as he was about to dodge Ari’s blade; catching him in the crossfire so to speak. The force he threw his shield at the creature would be enough to cause some damage to him, but the main goal was to knock the air out his lungs; the shield was aimed for his mid-section. However, if Ethan was nimble enough to sacrifice his rhythm to escape both attacks at from the front and side, he hoped it would throw him off balance giving Ari an opportunity to deliver a fatal blow.
After the tossing of his shield, he quickly dropped to his knees planting his hand on the ground, his attention still focused on the battle going on around him. The arrival of the Basilisk was brilliantly played by his handler. It had disrupted the formation of Ethan’s unit forcing them to scatter from their tactic. Hopefully, the snake's disruption was enough to break the concentration of the anti-magic unit to allow him to cast his own magic. Instinctively he knew he needed to get rid of both anti-magic and the mages from the field. ”Htrae ekips” he muttered, hopefully being able to conjure his spell. If successful spikes of earth would erupt from under Anti-magic units feet, impaling them and possibly silencing them for good.
