The potion she made wasn't exactly really....anything special. It was just liquid that was very very cold, and when it got stuck on to Emily and the female member, it caused them to start getting cold. Like imagine a fire. Fire gives off heat right? Imagine that fire but as a liquid. And it gives off cold instead of heat. That's what it is.

Once the normal room temperature starts heating her up a bit, she'll return to normal.
