I'm open about this, but the Miners don't say anything about gemstones in any way. Gallien founded the Miners to prevent the Being, but right now, the Being is nothing more than a bedtime story. It's not like we have a banner saying "Miners: Killing anyone that might help the Being come back. Also, fuck Vessels" in front of the Pickaxe.
