Frida looked out the window cautiously, she glanced over at the car pulling into the drive way. "Miss Elfrida Young?" a voice behind her said, Frida turned and looked at a man "Yes?" she said. "John Covett" he said as he shook her hand firmly "Please, come into my office" he said and held the door open for her. Frida glanced out the window one more time before stepping into the office. Covett came in right behind her and locked the door, a shiver went down her spine when she heard the door lock. Frida took a deep breath, all her senses peaked. People didn't lock doors during job interviews, did they? Covett walked around the desk and sat down, "Why don't you sit down miss Young..." there was something in the mans voice, Frida didn’t trust it one bit. She slowly pulled out the chair, but instead of sitting down she just gripped it tightly. She knew if she didn't sit down she would look suspicious, but what was the point? She was convinced it was a trap. She closed her eyes for a second, she then grabbed the chair and swung it over the desk hitting Covett. She quickly turned around and ran to the door, for a few seconds she fiddled with the lock on the door before she could open it. When she finally unlocked the door she heard Covett was behind her, she didn't even want to look at what was going on. She swung open the door and ran out. The front door wasn't a good idea, she knew they were waiting outside, she had seen their car. She looked around for less than a second then ran to the stairs. She knocked down a cabinet at the top of the stairs so it hit Covett in his way up, Covett didn't look at all like a chair had just hit him in the face. He looked fine, she knew this was wrong, very wrong. Frida didn't take the time to look at Covett more, she sprinted through the first floor to look for a way out of the house. She opened the door to a balcony on the back of the building, she scanned the area around her before she stepped onto the railing and pulled herself onto the roof. She obviously wasn't thinking much and went on almost pure instinct. She looked around to see where she could get away, she spotted a tree she let the last bit rational thoughts leave her head and jumped as she heard Covett climd onto the roof behind her.

Frida sat back in the front seat of her car, she had it parked near a gas station. "What a day..." she sighed and closed her eyes for a few seconds, once again she had gotten tricked by The Taken, she wasn't sure how but it happened. They had been after her for so long now, you'd think she knew their tactics, but no, as smart as Frida was The Taken seemed to always find her. As if she sabotaged herself somehow. She figured it would be a few weeks before she would see The Taken again, until then she wanted to take advantage of her freedom. She stepped out of her car and walked into the gas station, and although she suspected she wouldn't see The Taken for a few weeks she was cautious, anyone could be one of them. She walked around the small shop to see what should could buy, she walked to the freezer and took out several water bottles and some other drinks. She also bought a sandwich, probably not the greatest quality since it had probably been there all day but it was the best she could get for now. She payed for her stuff and left the shop, she dropped everything in her car and started organizing, taking out some trash that she had left in the car and threw it away.
Frida had come to the oh so optimistic conclusion that the world was doomed and that they were all going to be either enslaved or killed. She sighed and sat down in her car, the door still open, she had one leg out of the car one in the car. What was she going to do? She wasn't sure, she didn’t yet have all her memories from what had happened before she had, supposedly, been captured by The Taken. When she first escaped she didn't know anything other than her name and a few other small things, though over the past few months she had regained quite a few of her memories, she had even made her way home. Though she knew she couldn't stay there if The Taken were after her, she didn't want them to get anywhere near her family, so she had taken her car and left. She had hoped that the job interview that she had today would go well but it obviously didn't. She ran her hand through her hair, she was really lost.
There was a town near by, she decided she would go there, see if she could meet some people that weren't out to kill her, though she had given up on trying to convince people about The Taken, they all thought she was crazy anyway. she closed her car door and started driving again, she turned the radio volume up a bit and listened to the news, still no one was talking about The Taken. The Taken had taken over a part of society but somehow no one was talking about it, they went unnoticed, as if they were invisible. Frida wasn't sure how they did it but it bothered her.
