The Story

Destiny: The hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future.


No one can escape it, it is a force that cannot be stopped. Once your fate is sealed and your path is set, there is no changing it-there is no going back, you've passed the point of no return.

Heartless: Creatures that exist in Darkness, born from the Darkness residing in the hearts of mankind. They are mindless, driven only by instinct. The goal of the Heartless is simple: to find and consume hearts, thus creating more and more Heartless. However, this proves not enough for their never-ending hunger, as they will go for the hearts of worlds with no second thought.




Nobodies: Creatures who were once human, but had their hearts stolen by the Heartless, and thus they perished. But those few whose will was strong enough were able to continue on as Nobodies, retaining their bodies and souls. Many Nobodies take the common form of Dusks, but those with the strongest of wills, the strongest souls, take on their former human appearance: with many changes of course.


Nobodies exist outside the realms of Light and Darkness, being creatures of Twilight. They are shunned by the Light and the Dark, and do not truly exist. Because they've lost their hearts, they cannot truly feel anything but sensations of pleasure and pain.


Three groups of Nobodies, each with their own goals and ambitions, fight for their right to exist in the universe, as well as the power to change life itself.


Three distinct and different clans who believe in the same destiny: to change the worlds, to make a huge difference, for better or for worse.


They all have one thing in common:

they were never supposed to exist.

The most infamous of these groups is Organization XIII, a strong and formidable force of Nobodies. What began as the experiment on the heart by six apprentices ten years ago led to the loss of king Ansem the Wise who was banished into the Realm of Darkness, the release of the Heartless into the worlds and the destruction of the kingdom of Radiant Garden, leaving chaos in their wake.


The six men fell to Darkness and were resurrected into Nobodies, and six grew to thirteen over many years, thus the birth of Organization XIII. The goal of Organization XIII: to discover the secrets of the heart and fill the empty void inside themselves by gathering hearts to form Kingdom Hearts so they can become full beings again. But their leader, Xemnas, has darker ambitions unbeknownst to his twelve followers. What these ambitions are is still a mystery, and time will tell.

But there is a second group of Nobodies who disagree with the philosophy of lacking hearts.


Meet The Fold, a small band consisting of seven Nobodies but still ever growing in numbers, donning coats of white and gold to symbolize their alignment with the Light. Their leader is Raexeth, a man who was once a medical doctor in his human life called Harete who worked alongside the notable scientist Even, who experimented on the hearts of men and was one of the six apprentices who fell to Darkness and became the Nobody known as Vexen.

When Radient Garden fell, Doctor Harete had fallen to darkness, but as his will was very strong he retained his human form, albeit changed, and became a strong Nobody himself. When he stumbled out of the Castle's laboratory and into the town, he discovered four small children(ranging from two to eight years in age)who had met the same fate. He took in these neophyte Nobodies, and together they fled into the caverns just outside the kingdom that became known as Hollow Bastion. In his human life, Raexeth refused to take part in the diabolical experiments on the human heart, and in this Nobody life he opposes Xemnas and Organization XIII.


Unlike the Organization who are beings that controlled darkness, The Fold are beings of Light, and thus use corridors of Light to travel from world to world. Raexeth's goal is to gather enough Nobodies and defeat the Organization to create a "Golden Age of Light", spreading hope, love, and peace among the worlds. He aims to educate those who believe that Nobodies have no hearts, for he knows that to be false. He believes that Nobodies posses the strongest of hearts and are enlightened creatures with the powers of Gods.


Having still retained his strong feelings for Even, he plans to save his dear fallen friend and guide him on the path of Light. From there he will exalt his "beloved" to the status of not only king, but "The King of the Realm of Light, supreme ruler of The Golden Age." For years, Raexeth has sent his "Children" to thwart the Organization's plot to collect hearts, having them intercede with the XIII's missions and throwing them off course.

Xemnas' patience with The Fold grows thinner with the passage of time, believing Raexeth to be mad and deluded.


Oh, how right he is.

Raexeth is decaying, in mind and body, for he is slowly dying from the diseases in his blood, and it is only by injecting scorpion poison into his veins that he continues to live.


Two major groups of Nobodies, ones of Light and Dark. But what of the third clan?

Enter Oblivion, an even smaller and newer force of Nobodies who don midnight blue coats and use Digital portals to travel to different worlds, and call themselves "The Knights of Oblivion." They are led by two powerful Nobodies named Pixelle(a woman who controls the Digital Realm, and is herself a living computer) and her General, Darxoton(A soldier in life from Radiant Garden who controls the storms in the skies). They along with three other founding/chief members gathered together with one goal in mind: to reign an era of chaos and destruction over all worlds.


To do this, Oblivion plans to decimate Organization XIII and harness the power of Kingdom Hearts for themselves in order to achieve their ambitions. As for The Fold, they plan to use them as pawns in their plan to destroy the XIII. Once The Fold's usefulness runs out, however, Oblivion will kill off The Fold and rule their new kingdom with an iron fist.


Using the Digital World at her disposal, Pixelle gains top secret information on both groups to use against them. Sometimes she sends The Fold information of missions that members of the XIII are currently going on, helping them to foil the Organization's plan of collecting hearts. Other times she sends word to the Organization that The Fold plan to take Kingdom Hearts for themselves, and will send them false reports of their progress as if Raexeth himself wrote them, causing misunderstandings and confusion in her wake.


And she makes certain that these are never traced back to her location: the clock tower of Twilight Town. Using the hatred both groups have for each other against them, she ensures a war will break out between them, and it will be Oblivion who will come in to save The Fold, only to destroy them after wiping out the XIII.

For ten years the feud raged on between The Organization and The Fold. But one day, Raexeth sends word to Xemnas that he looks to making peace with his XIII, and he wants the two groups to meet in good faith. He promises not to attack so long as Xemnas and his members keep the same vow. He only wished to discuss terms of ending this feud and keeping peace between them. He asked to meet on neutral ground-the mansion in Twilight Town. Disgruntled and suspicious of his arch enemy's motives, Xemnas reluctantly agrees.

The reason for this sudden truce? Raexeth finds himself growing weaker and weaker with every passing day, and it is only a matter of time before his control over the plague consumes him and ultimately kills him. Such is his drawback, for every Fold member has a secret weakness in relation to their element-a secret that could end them all. When one joins The Fold they are met with their own drawback, and it must be kept under lock and key lest any of their enemies discover it, which will be The Fold's demise.

When Pixelle gets word of this, she is amused and delighted at the prospect of turning this peace meeting into an all out declaration of war. With the help of her co leader Darxoton and their Knights, she will cause havoc between these two "Great" clans, and disrupt any plans for peace between Raexeth and Xemnas. With this war will come the chaotic kingdom Oblivion has been vying for.

The day arrives. Nobodies of Light and Dark are now coming together to talk of peace between them, finally, after years of bitterness and anger towards one another. They will all meet outside of the Twilight Town mansion, then proceed inside to begin the discussion of a peace treaty. But Pixelle and The Knights of Oblivion are ready as well, and they are just itching to start the greatest and bloodiest war these worlds have ever known.

And it is here where our story begins.

A. No GodModing. That is, ABSOLUTELY no controlling another character, or overpowering your own character. Be reasonable. This rule is absolute and will NOT be tolerated.

C. The seven main Fold members and the Five main Oblivion NPCs are of course played by myself. There is no limit to how many Nobodies can join these two Factions. There are also two other NPCs that help Organization XIII, as well as a rogue Nobody NPC. The NPC list is below, to get an idea of who's who.


D. Humans and Nobodies are both accepted into this role play, as well as keyblade weilders!


E. I want posts that are at least two paragraphs long, since this is a detailed role play. Maximum paragraph length is six We don't want a novel.


F. Post your CS into the character sign up area once the thread is made, but please put in brackets if it's a WIP or if it's finished but is waiting for approval. Once you are accepted, you are free to start posting or creating a thread.

G. As far as Nobodies go, you can choose to join The Fold or Oblivion, or help out the Organization. You can also choose to be a rogue Nobody and not join any of them. Human characters will have two magical abilities TO START if they so choose. Keyblade Wielders are allowed to duel wield keyblades, thus a max of two keyblades per wielder while in use. NOTE: You can learn more spells in the role play from NPCs or other playable characters as you progress.

H. When joining the Fold, remember that this Faction is known for their weakness in relation to their power, called a "Drawback." For example, when Raexeth uses his power over Plague, it consumes him more and more making him closer to death. For Cyprix, every time she uses her power over the time stream, she risks it collapsing and the Universe coming to a sudden end as we know it. Drawbacks are simpler too, for example, Cratxa must have her feet in dirt and not be out of it for more than three days. When her feet have not touched Earth after three days, she turns into stone. Yexas, with his power of pollution, has smog and sludge filling up in his lungs, and so he cannot use his power too much or he suffocates. Xentor cannot overuse his singing abilities or he'll lose his voice forever. The Drawback is up to you, but be creative and let it be both dire and urgent enough not to use it too much.
