The stories of Mezemorio - Everyone thought they were gone, but they weren't
Long ago, before the birth of Jesus Christ, a Civilization was born in the tropical south of Mexico. This village were later called Olmec, but none of them who lived in the beginning knew of it. They called their village "Mezemorio", a word that is rarely heard now adays. Olmec was a peaceful village, no sign of an army could be found. Without anyone knowing, the people of Mezemorio held rituals to summon magical abilities and powers, but even so, they still did not attack other villages. They just lay low with their farming and hunting, like most people should do. But one day, around year 400 BC, the new people of Mexico found out the truth and attacked them with an incredible army. And since Olmec was a very small village, they were outnumbred and fled from the battlefield. Not all survived, only few. The ones left went into hiding into the forrests they knew like their own hands where noone would find them. Everyone from the outer world thought they were long gone, deceased, dead.
After more than a thousand years, when the Mezemorio village was back to normal, the population was increased, more people than ever. The village decided to move back to the place they were first. Where the Mezemorio pillar stood tall in the center of a tropical field of flowers and grass. They built up their village as it was from before, with pillars and stone walls, and kept themselves hidden from the world. They were completely isolated from the world, and did not know anything about the new technology or about science. They still believed in their god, Omahluk.
Stone sculptures were placed everywhere and a large temple in the center of the village. The houses were small, more like huts and placed really messy around the town. No straight roads, only very small, bumpy paths between the houses. These paths were not straight at all, they turned and switched ways everywhere, almost like a maze. If you hadn't been here, you would get lost as soon as you took a turn.
This story is about todays people, either from withing the walls or from somewhere else in the world. Maybe the ones from the outside will find the town of Olmec, or maybe the people from inside will escape. That's completely up to you. Your choises, your consequences.
