Actually it would probably be better if you used the spear as a walking stick and put the bow on your back. That way if anything surprises you the spear is right at hand. And if you need to shoot something you simply stick it in the ground and pull out your bow. Shield might be unweildy to carry, however isn't that difficult on your back..
