Hey! Thanks for popping in. Before I got started, I figured I’d include a little about myself.
- I’m 20+ and I operate very loosely on EST (typically like Noon - 2 am).
- I’m in college right now (finals week approaching) so I’ll be a little busy for about two weeks, but then pretty free for two months after that. During my slow period, I’ll try and respond at least once a day
- I’ve been roleplaying for 8 or so years now. I’ve been on and off this website for about two years now I think
- Very ghost friendly! If you ever want to pick up a roleplay 7-8 months later, I’m all for it! Take your You Time, you deserve it. I’m also bad about leaving and then randomly responding or coming back and asking about it. I’ll typically eventually come back though, I just have to work my way back to it. Please bare with me, again.
- I’m not the best at coding/layout/aesthetics, mostly because I’m just now learning it, but I’m also just very unorganized in general. If this is non-negotiable to my future writing partner, I’ll work on it.
- I tend to mirror posts, but I’m really looking for like at least 500 words per post for this plot, minimum. Hopefully more during parts that have a lot going on.
- For roleplaying, I’m on discord the most so you’re most likely to catch me there. However, I will write in PMs here as well.
What I’m looking for in a writing partner is:
- Someone 18+
- Mutual respect. I’m usually okay with whatever, but if I’m not, please don’t push me. If anything makes you uncomfortable, please tell me and I will avoid the subject
- Someone comfortable with roleplaying multiple characters. For this particular plot, writing as at least two characters may be necessary sometimes. The Kings will be heavily reoccurring side characters if nothing more.
- OOC chatter for planning, memes, music, etc. I love chatting and being nerds about everything, but if that isn’t your thing, I understand! The only thing I ask is that you are there for planning when necessary.
- The usual, no over powered characters, that’s just boring.
- Third person past tense, please!
- Fantasy - Espionage - Romance -
So, the Kings of both kingdoms meet in a lord house in the third kingdoms territory, both agreeing to the diplomats pleas to finally meet after multiple kingdoms threatening to cut them both off. While peace is what the diplomatic nation wants, the two kingdoms search for something else. Information. Gossip, talk, a slip of a name, anything that could give them an edge. Neither King attends the peace talks looking for peace. With them, they bring part of their Court, trusted fighters, and their Queens. While the Kings and a few of their generals are in the talks, everyone else is expected to mingle amongst themselves and be ready to advise the Kings when necessary. Coincidentally, the Queens are both tasked with being the Kings ears in their absence. However, they are expected by everyone else to converse together. To keep up appearances, they do. As the talks go on, they spend half of the time trying to collect information, but the other half unintentionally growing closer with the enemy.
Unfortunately, despite the Queens growing closer, the talks show no progress. What will happen as hostilities somehow grow once more? Will war finally spark between the two kingdoms, or will something else?

I promise this is a romance, I know right now it barely reads like that, but I have a lot more ideas/wanted to leave some wiggle room to discuss with my writing partner.
——
Kingdom A is known for their heavy focus on spices and meat production. They have more support from other Kingdoms than Kingdom B. Their religion is one based on the ground, focusing on caves, caverns and mountains as places of significance. Most of their important structures are architecturally heavy and partially underground, if not actually built within a cave. Despite their religion, their territory doesn’t have access to many of these geographical features.
The King was the first born to the usurper, a man of common descent. To continue this image for his son, the new Queen was picked from among the lower class. Queen A was selected without consultation from the new King, or from her.
Kingdom B has a textile based economy. While it’s not a particularly religious area, and a variety of religions are present, the religion practiced by the royalty is one based on the stars. Their geography, however, does incorporate many caves, many of which sit unused and avoided. This is one of many reasons for conflict with Kingdom A.
The Queen was the second born in a long line of Kings and Queens. She is promised to a wealthy Lords son abruptly, something her sibling does to gain more money for the impending war. When her sibling dies, she finds herself the Queen.
Once again, a lot more ideas, just wanna work with my partner some to make sure their okay with some smaller details.
- Magic anywhere in the plot, but particularly with Kingdom B. I considered that maybe the thing that killed Queen B’s sibling was a power they couldn’t hold, but that she can, type of deal? Anywhere though, I feel like magic could fit just lemme know!
- I kind of wanted to make Kingdom A seem like the ‘good guys’ to outsiders, but turn out to have a really corrupt court
- The plot is heavily romance themed already, but if anyone’s feeling extra spicy, I had the idea of making the two kings a thing or maybe one of the kings and the diplomatic king?? Get some m// in there
- Once again, I can expand on this plot A LOT and on some of the world building
