Experiences The shortest response I've seen?

I've got two words for you: two words. Literally, they respond with two words.
Ex: She smiled.
Ex: He nodded.

Yeah, in roleplays I have done in the past. I would post at least two paragraphs worth of context only to be met with responses like that. Thankfully there were others in the roleplay who provided better replies that I could work with, but it was still funny.

Seriously, this was the shortest I've gotten in an rpg (off this platform) ... It was a reaction in a dialogue. We've actually had a rule about the length of posts and this was too short, but the reaction was somewhat authentical, that's why we've allowed it to remain as a post.
The player didn't mind to place anything like: <"Oh!", she said, quickly turning her eyes down to the floor...> or anything, it was just <"Oh!">

I kid you not. Several times even.
Plus the rper was all about dat tragic backstory and look at me I work so hard and never have a break and my powers are cool.

I shit you not. Completely blank.

Apparently they wrote up a reply, but didn't like it so they tried to delete it, but the forum (not here, this was years ago) wouldn't allow that, so they just deleted the content and left it completely void, sending me a PM saying they'd have a reply up later.

A painfully long story short, I had a thread going with two of my friends and this one girl with damsel characters. Her character was captured about to be tortured while our characters thought of ways to rescue her when all of sudden her character miraculously appeared before them. Everyone wondered how she managed to get away which her response was:

I ran.

Unless... one could argue it doesn't count as a reply since the reply had been deleted and the empty space was supposed to be filled with text (even though it never was...)

Yes, it is... at least the answer "I ran" can be logically correct (even though it'd take a closer look at the details of her running)... it get's even more annoying if the answer that comes is either not logical or possible or rp-rules are kicked over...
