Heya folks. I have a story I’d like to do.
I have a plot based on a stashed character of mine. And a couple of songs. I’ll show you the songs should I PM you.
Themes: Medieval, Low Fantasy, Dark, Gritty, Suspense, Possible Romance
A small village lies on the edge of the forest, it’s neighbors being wildlife. The nearest village is a three days journey; the nearest city being a week. The village must rely on their agricultural abilities to feed them, occasionally will a caravan come through with supplies. But how must the village cope with an evil that lurks within the darkness?
Night after night, the farm grows littered with the leftover corpses of calves and the remains of chickens. Something is terrorizing the people of the village. Everyone is ordered to stay indoors at dusk... whatever terrorizes the village has been hungry enough for human meat before. The few who have managed to peak at the beast without being noticed have claimed it’s just a rogue wolf, most likely a younger one separated from its pack, mowing down the cattle to avoid hunting. Others say there’s more than meets the eye.
You are bold. Heroic, maybe. But mostly curious. You decide to track the wolf deep into the forest to avoid starvation of your village come winter. Oddly enough, you manage to find the beast sleeping calmly away in its den. Just as you take your shot with your arrow, hitting it perfectly in the rib cage, you blink and you cannot believe your eyes.
The arrow wasn’t implanted in a wolf. It was a woman.

This will be a Shapeshifter x Human story. I will be playing the shapeshifter. Firstly, I’d like to address that my character is the offspring of two characters that were used in an RP long ago. That means her parents were played by my friend and I. That also means we had written the child to be female. I’d rather it stay as such but if you’re absolutely bonkers about playing female, I might be able to gender bend. I’ll just have to find a new face claim.
Second of all, this plot will be more character driven than anything. I like stories that focus mainly on character interaction rather than politics or over complicated plots. That’s just my preference.
Thirdly, I said this was low fantasy in a medieval setting. Low fantasy means NO elves, dwarves, dragons, magic. So, basically this isn’t Skyrim or Dragon Age. Magic is forbidden and unheard of. Witches and shapeshifters are thought to be rumors and wives’ tales. I can elaborate on this later.
Lastly, I said romance was possible, but it’s not what I’m aiming for. If the characters fit well, sure. But I will not force my character to fall in love with yours.
I’d also like to note that regardless of romance or not, I will only do MxF or FxF. I don’t have to justify why I won’t do MxM, but do keep in mind there is nothing wrong with it. I just believe it would change the dynamic of the characters dramatically and I wouldn’t be interested in that.
Some minor “rules”:
PLEASE DON’T PM ME! I don’t want to have more than one person interested in this plot. I feel bad turning people down even if in my heart I can’t do the same story twice. If you PM me about this plot, I will simply ignore you.

- Preferably 16+. At least be mentally mature. This won’t be a very lighthearted story.
- Be willing to write at least 2 good paragraphs. If our characters are only speaking and not much is going on, 1 paragraph will do. That’s about 10-15 sentences. I will usually write from 2-4 paragraphs.
- It’s okay to be slow. I myself can only hash out one post a day. But I can do OOC banter for hours.
- Please be advanced! Never thought I would say this, but please put feeling into your posts. Add some fluff, even. Make your post bleed with emotion. I’m not talking about how every strand moves on your character’s head. Tell me what your character is feeling, thinking, etc. Get creative.
- For this story, I prefer REALISTIC ART for face claims. NOT real photos. NOT anime. REALISTIC ART. Kinda like a portrait. I will do my CS first so you know what I mean. Also, our CS’s won’t tell our character’s stories. I prefer they be very short, just so we get an idea of them.
- Be aggressive. I hate pulling a story along by myself. Add some plot twists. As long as it makes sense, you can make whatever scenes you want. This is OUR story, not just mine.
- Don’t control my character, but don’t be afraid to NOT control them. I’m saying, you can’t kill my character or make him/her read a book or anything like that. Your character CAN smack my character across the face if you want them to. That’s what real life is. I expect you to let my character do the same, if applicable. Lmao.
- Have fun!!
