The Pandemonium Club

organization of mundanes with a deep interest in the Shadow World. It is said to be a rather old organization of mundanes who have interested themselves in the magical arts where, at their meetings, they do spells and try to summon up demons and spirits. Other members are simply enthusiasts who use their money and influence to purchase knowledge of the unknown world. They are powerful in the Downworld, their members being rich and important figures in mundane society.

Its symbol was a double ouroboros, two serpents biting each other's tails to form a circle, symbolizing the end of the world and the beginning.

The Iron Sisters

communal organization of female Shadowhunters that forge weapons for their kind. The Iron Sisters are considered the female counterparts of the Silent Brothers, albeit more secluded. They reside in the Adamant Citadel, where they live in almost total solitude and speak only, and occasionally, to female Shadowhunters.

The Silent Brothers

a powerful group of male Shadowhunters who serve as archivists and medics of the Nephilim. To strengthen their minds, they have taken upon themselves the most powerful of runes known to Shadowhunters. They are feared among the Nephilim, particularly because of their mutilated faces. They reside in the Silent City, away from the rest of their kind.

The Clave

The Clave is the collective name for the political body made up of all active Shadowhunters. The Clave keeps and interprets the Law, and makes decisions about the guidance of the Nephilim through history as it unfolds and decides on important matters that affect the Nephilim.

Lydia Branwell is a beautiful, no-nonsense young Shadowhunter who is an abrasive "badass." She has known terrible loss in her life, and she has become driven and harsh as a result—but under her hard shell lies considerable vulnerability. She is distantly related to Clary and Jocelyn Fray through her Fairchild bloodline.

Delaney Scarsbury is the training master of the Shadowhunter Academy in Idris.

The Vampire Clan Of Vancouver

The Werewolf Pack Of Vancouver

Seelie Court

a division of faeries and their land, along with the Unseelie Court. They are led by the Queen of the Seelie Court.

Because of the mysterious nature of the Fair Folk, not much is known about them. However, in comparison to the Unseelie Court, Seelie Court faeries are seen as generally "good", mainly because they are less evil and possess a more lighthearted attitude than their Unseelie counterparts.

Seelie Court faeries expect courtesy and favors to be fulfilled, otherwise, they demand retribution and avenge what they see as insult or offense. While to them, their notions are good and benevolent to humans, the execution and their choice of actions are not as much; they are quite deceptive and self-serving. They are also quite prone to tricks, pranks, and mischief. Though faeries cannot lie, they are not always fully honest, often twisting their words and speaking half-truths

Unseelie Court

one of the divisions within the faeries' population, the other being the Seelie Court.

Because of the mysterious nature of the Fair Folk, not much is known about the faeries of the Unseelie Court. They do not involve itself in outside affairs, such as the Shadowhunters or their Accords, and are not very interested in even trying to be in good terms with them. Their court is also said to be a terrifying place. Presumably because of this, Gabriel Lightwood referred to them as the nasty ones, most likely in comparison to those of the Seelie Court. Also, according to Sallows, Unseelie Court faeries do not like too much light.
