We are the Shadow Court. We are assassins. Once we played the game as pawns, allowing the nobility to use us to their own end but no more. We are tired of the corruption, the pettiness, the opulance as the citizens starve, disgusted by our nobility. Now, we're taking the fate of our Kingdoms into our own hands, and playing this game our way.
Stories of old tell of a kingdom, that stretched from the Esh Mountains in the North, to the Great River of the West, to the Kerach Mountains in the South, and the Mayim Sea in the East. The King was wise and the Queen gentle, and their people knew peace, prosperity, and justice. The kingdom flourished in a Golden Age of music, art, medicine, craftsmanship, and science.
The stories go on to speak of the four sons that the Queen bore. Hakim the Wise, Kazak the Strong, Hasidem the Loyal, and Nayhal the Gentle. They raised their children to uphold the meaning behind their names. But something happened. Something went terribly terribly wrong.
The stories now differ, but the truth remains the same. What was once one Kingdom is now four. Hakkimsten in the West, Kazzakmon in the North, Hassidem in the East, and Nayhallen in the South.
Four Kingdoms. Four Courts. Strife. Intrigue. Romance. Assassins.
If you read through this please mention which kingdom your character is from in your character sheet
Characters:
4 Kings/Queens (must be willing to be terrible, if we don't get four we don't do have them, work around it)
Nobles
Peasants (well really people who aid the assassins or want to join them...these are the normal ones)
and of course... Assassins
There also needs to be one Shadow King/Queen to rule the Shadow court. If you are interested, post your idea and I will be choosing the one I think would work best! If I don't choose yours, hopefully you'll still want to be a part of this RP, and just try to sign up as someone else.

RULES MARVELOUS RULES:
I hate them, got to have them.
1) Site Rules, be nice PG-13. Easy on the foul language.
2) Some romance is allowed, but see above for ratings. I reserve the right to censor or tell your characters to get a room/commence a black out.
3) Keep OOC out of IC and vice versa
4) BE ACTIVE. This is a group thing, it would be best if you could post everyday but that's not realistic...so whatever it's cool. On that note, no one-liners. You can write more than that. I promise. You are all talented!
5)Read all the rules? Pick a color and dye your response text that color.
6) I reserve the right as master of this post. I probably will be asking someone to help me with this since I am so freaking new to the whole thing. I take criticism well, so speak up, but I still reserve the right to say shush.
7) No goddmodding or OP. Everyone hurts.
Aaaand I think that's it! Let's do it!
