Quinn is mute, his voice been stolen away by his history. His mood depends
on how he feels throughout the day, being happy and shining brightly on the best of day,
and a blank grey when things dont go so well. He's gotten the habit to show his
emotions through his facial expressions in place of his voice.

Background:
Quinn grew up happily with his Mother, Father, and an older sister. His sister
was tomboyish, and bullied him most of the time. But they were still close, no matter how
much she picked on him, she defended him as well. She could save him from anything, but as
it turns out, she was the one that needed protecting. The ocean was deep and vast, and
his sister didnt know how to survive it. The waves came quick, swooping her up from the
sandy shore. No matter what Quinn did, she was gone.

His entire family was heart broken, but no one took it worse than Quinns father. His
sadness was drowned in the putrid scent of alcohol. His fathers anger and sadness took
over his emotions. No matter how hard Quinn pressed his hands against his ears, his
mothers weeps pierced deeper than any knife could. But man did he wish it could.

One night, in his fathers drunken rage, Quinns mother had had enough. She fought, her
voice crackling with tears and her hands in fist'. It escalated quickly, punching turned
to hits, and hits turned to far worse. His father grabbed a kitchen knife, and before
anything could be said, the crimson water flowed from his mother stomach. Quinn knew he
was next, grabbing a fire place skewer, his throat clenching as fear took over.

The rest of the night was blank, the only thing he could remember was a blood soaked
shirt, and hands sticky with blood. He felt empty, the trauma not yet settled in.
Everything that had happened slowly came into view, and Quinn knew that staying there was
not a good idea. He took the backdoor out, feeling the cold winter air hit the now drying
red spots on his clothes.

The alley way was empty, the cobblestone cold on his bare feet. Quinn walked down the
walkway a bit, sitting against a box. He found himself counting each crevice in between
the stones, trying to distract his mind. A stranger's footsteps sounded from far off,
getting closer. Quinn found himself not caring, his rib cage feeling empty.
That's when he met his new adventure.​

Biography: You know the captain who asked you to go on the seven seas? This is her. Usually she dresses in comfy clothes, but when she has to impress someone by her title of Captain she goes all out. Bright yellow hat? Check. Cloak? Check. Entrance? Check.
The Captain always seems happy or carefree but when she or someone loves is attacked (physically or emotionally) she turns stone cold. She'll lash out, which has sometimes given dire consequences.
She loves plants or animals, and will sometimes stop everything just to help one.
The Captain was born in a land of temples, river and dancers wearing shining gold. She wasn't rich, but she was happy just helping around in her little village. One day, her home was pillaged by people of another land. Since then, she has nothing to do with the idea of staying and connecting to a place.

Emotional/mental bond: She's very sensitive about the idea of home. She travels a lot, so her home is where her compadres are at. And if they're not there to anchor her down, she just drifts away.

Mal is comical, goofy, and not the most reliable with tedious tasks. Mal is also a hopeless flirt, with no boundaries, gender or otherwise. He is a sly tactician and good to have around, but he would never take on a title with a larger burden then he would want to bare. He is best known for his food though, which despite being incredibly spicy, is really good. Mal feeds people as his way of saying he cares. He is physically weak and tends to get sick often, so he feels this is the best way he could offer his help.
biography:
Born into a gang of thieves, Mal hadn’t a chance to be an honest man. His mother died in childbirth and his father lived was a member of a small corrupt group who went on heists and stole to survive. He wasn’t the strongest, nor the smartest, but he was taken under the wing of many hardened and capable people.
Things got difficult, though, when their food supply ran short and merchants caught onto the group. They had to leave their base of operations and find a new location. Food was scarce and some men starved to death. Mal starved too, growing sick and incapable of helping. He went into a city one day to scout for markets, when he was found by an elderly man with a small restaurant. The man invited him in, and fed Mal without asking any questions. Mal was invited back, and kept coming with the promise that he would help the older man by cooking for him and Mal would get enough food to feed his shrinking family, which unfortunately didn’t make it through the famine. Mal grew up and the old man had passed on. Mal decided when this happened, that he would find a new family he could be there for.

Personality: She's quite shy and sad most of the time since she partly feels bad about her actions throughout the day, and because of the loss of her parents. She prefers to be with her family, and if she doesn't have family near, she prefers to be alone. (She might feel that the crew is part of her family, later on though, and warm up to them, I don't know yet.)

Biography: When she was younger, she always remember that her parents were fretting over money, and the ability of being able to take care of their two daughters. She remembers their surprised joy as her father got a job offer which would allow him to sustain his family and live peacefully. He later realized that this company was a group of robbers and business men, and he realized that their motives were wrong and injust. He was allowed to quite, but his manager's words were, "You may quit, but at a great price." It later turns out that the price was lives. Her and her sister were barely able to find a hiding space before they barged into their house and she was left alone with her sister. Alone, but not alone.

  She's a bit shy but once she get's to know you, she will open up to you and you'll see her talkative side. Ais has a photographic memory and weird prophetic powers. When she has the initial dream of the "future", it's blurry and un-detailed but as it get's closer to the date of what's going to happen, her dreams get clearer and more detailed. Obviously, the future is not set in stone. Other people' s decisions will influence what happens and the date of the "future" may change or what will happen may also change. Just because Aislinn dreams something, doesn't mean that what she dreams will for sure happen but usually something similar to her dreams happen.
• early life. Ais was abandoned when she was born because her mother already had too many children to support. Weirdly, Aislinn has a flawless memory. She remembers her mother whispering, "I love you." before abandoning her, she remembers the the elderly man who took care of her before he died, she remembers everything. After the man died, she was captured by some pirates and forced into slavery.
  slavery. She cooked, cleaned, etc. for the pirates. Even though she was a child, the pirates mistreated her. They beat her and whipped her when they weren't pleased with her work, they didn't let her rest or eat for long periods of time until she collapsed from exhaustion, the pirates hurt her in unfathomable ways. After a year in their servitude, Aislinn began to lose hope of ever escaping but one night, she had a dream that she was going to escape when the pirates docked on the land and somebody was going to save her. At first, Ais thought her mind was just fantasizing but as time went on, she noticed that the pirates were sailing in the direction of land. Her prophetic dreams also go more and more clearer.
  escape. On the night that the pirates reached land, Aislinn had an extremely intense and detailed dream of what was to come in the morning. When she woke up, the pirates were unloading treasures from their most recent raid and she slipped into one of the barrels filled with spices. The spices were brought to be traded in the underground (literally) black market and when the barrel she was in was opened, Aislin made a run for the nearest pipe she could find. For hours, she crawled through the pipes while the pirates were trying to find her. Then she emerged from the pipes when she saw light filtering through a sewer. She tried to climb out of the sewer but being so small, she had a hard time. Then the captain, who was walking in the market overhead noticed the girl and helped her climb out.

It is impossible to sneak up and scare her because she will notice you. On the contrary, she is very skilled at sneak attacks and making herself blend in easily. Kihara seems to have an affinity for knives and is known for her violent punishments and attacks. She is equally as physically violent as she is verbally and has no problem saying extremely vulgar things. Ki may seem very tough but in reality, she hides her feelings inside, and sometimes she explodes. If you try to talk to her, she’ll brush you off. Kihara is usually irritated or sarcastic but has a soft side that is rarely seen. [Div class="Line"][/div] Bio: She hates talking and thinking about her past. If you looked in a thesaurus for the word Overconfidence you would find it replaced with the "Jayce Talberd". (Mainly because he flooded the market with his own published version) Personal space means little to nothing to him though he finds it hard to make enemies. He's the type of guy to interject himself into other peoples problems for better or worse. As long as it works out in the end the in's and out's of things don't really matter; his philosophy is a bit flawed. Extremely adventurous and very athletic he tends to be the first to set foot on a new journey. He feels as if he's a trail blazer so that everyone else can follow his footsteps and avoid his own personal mistakes. To mistake his aloof behavior as being carefree or oblivious would be a mistake. The truth is he just doesn't worry about a lot of things. Rather he doesn't let it bother him.
Despite his friendly and jocular nature the faint scent of blood can be smelt on his hatchets...

Biography:
The Talberd family lineage can be traced back to an age where silent assassins were hired as bodyguards. (Though not much has changed today) With the ways of espionage ingrained in their blood his parents taught him the ways of murder and deception. Though they did attempt to lead a quiet life. As quiet as one could be when your child is a troublemaker.

At the age of five he learned of his family's seeded history and wanted to rebrand their name. To do so he founded the famous/infamous clan known as "House of Teq". Originally it was composed of him and his many siblings and cousins. For the most part it still is; they only accept new memberships via marriage or birth. Carrying the banner of his clan Jayce became a thief, adventurer, mercanay, highwayman, and various other things. With each of his exploits the House followed him without much of a complaint. Because of their various activities there are parts of the lands that despise them and other parts that love them.

On his most recent exploit he found himself on a pirate ship. A disagreement with the captain and the first mate lead to an argument which ended in mutiny. This left Jayce in the middle of the chaos. So, as always, he did what he felt like doing. After all he never steered a ship before. He crashed the ship into a naval officer ship. After the wreckage he found himself on a whaler ship. According to the crew they found him in the mouth of a whale. Jayce didn't question the matter but to repay the debt he spent the next year working as a shiphand. He also used this time to take lessons on steering a ship from the captain and navigator. Adding yet another title to his resume.

After working on the whaler ship Jayce spent the next two years forming a communication line back to his family and building the house's reputation in this new country. That includes amassing a significant amount of money and buying a plot of land to serve as a satellite location. Now that he's accomplished those goals he has his eyes set on a new adventure. Rumors of the sea which he had not heard before peaked his interest. Perhaps he would charter a ship...

She doesn't like it when people try to get close to her and downright hates it when people hit on her. There's two kinds of people who better don't stick around her, slavers and rapists, she has a tendency to torture and mutilate such people but never reveals why she has a deep hatred for those people. She is a calculating person and one of the few people around that is highly skilled with the Arquebus.
Biography:
Jenny has kept her past from everyone and might even have taken on a new name after whatever had happened to her. As for the whole world Jenny Kane just appeared out of nowhere and started working as a mercenary for the highest bidder. Some speculate she must've been a soldier as she carried an Arquebus around and knew damn well how to use it, better than most soldiers in fact.
