Amityvillager
Free-Spirited Fox, Voracious Vixen
And introduction to the role play:
Y
ou become bored with this drab summer day and you have the urge to go into the nearby woods. You grab only a couple things and head out. You head out into the shade of the trees and turn to take a look at your house, but you're not sure why. You shrug and delve deep into the forest, picking your way around fallen logs and rocks. Not long after, your hear the sound of water. Strange. You've been in these woods a lot, and even during your miles long excursions you never even glimpsed a creek or small pond. You turn towards the noise, and begin towards it, a purpose guiding your stride now.
F
inally, after what seems like hours, you reach the source of the sound. A clear pond sits in the middle of a ring of tall, majestic birch trees. After taking a moment to scratch your puzzled head, you move closer. Small pebbles make up the bottom of the pond and you catch glimpses of gemstones, A second look makes you realize these are actually small fish. You follow one's path with your eyes, watching as it darts away from a large stone in the center. Instead of wondering why the moss covered rock suddenly appears, a strange force compels you forward. You move easily through the water and as you progress, your head feels lighter, somehow. You think nothing of it as you climb upon the rock.
S
miling in glee, you run a hand across the plush moss, realizing how tired you are, It couldn't hurt to take a nap, you thing as you lay your head down in your arms. It seems like only seconds later when you hear a voice say something foreign. The voice repeats it, more clearly and loudly this time, By the third time, you realize it is your name, but you don't recall ever hearing it before then. In fact. you don't recall anything from the time before the waking moments.

A quick description of some very important aspects of the role play:
This is where you awaken. An elf clad in gold armor points you towards the village.
❧
This is the main business area of the village. The buildings highest upon the hills are the courts and home of the nobles.
❧
The homes of all the villagers look like this one. Multiple families live in each home and are looked over by a Resident Lord or Lady. All the humans also live in the same home, but separate from the elves; they are looked over by Daenalaia, "Chancellor of the Changelings."
❧
Other Important Areas
Garden of Galaeron: A lush, beautiful garden decorated with human statues. They all seem to have holes in their chests. . . .
Waters of Wisteri: A mysterious pond in the human world that sucks memories from whomever is in the water. It is also the gateway to Lor (where the role play takes place).

A quick description of some very important aspects of the role play:
- Souls: Your soul was removed by the elves so you would be youthful forever. (This means you are immortal, not invincible.) As soon as that happened, your soul sough refuge in an animal, and it became your familiar of sorts. If your soul dies, you turn to stone and your "statue" takes its place in the Garden of Galaeron.
- Memories: Gone. You don't even get those "pin-prick" feelings in your brain or the tip of your tongue moments. You still have knowledge of things like hunting, but nothing of the human realm, like names and faces and historical events. You also never get them back. They all left you when you walked through the Waters of Wisteri (the pond from the beginning).

- No god-modding, as usual.
- Let's keep the romance PG-13; fade to black if you need to. And keep the gore out of the macabre. No one wants entrails hanging from the ceiling! (Unless you're a butcher I suppose. . . .)
- Post at least once a week. If you don't and don't tell me about an absence beforehand, you will be killed off. In a natural way, of course.
- Post at least a paragraph that's 4-5 sentences long. More would be supremely awesome, but do what you can. Also, grammar and spelling should be correct; I won't freak out on you for it, but consistent incorrect grammar and spelling is highly exasperating.
- Sprucing up the post is not required, but it would be great. Images of the character you're role playing in the post are always a bonus! (I can make a cool, smaller character image for you, if you ask!)
- No drama. Hate the character, no the player. On the same note, don't make your character unbearably obnoxious.
