Rhines Castle rests on the top of Mount Kosov. At the base of Mount Kosov is the little town of Derik's Hollow. Both the castle and the town have existed for centuries. New generations have come and gone yet none have left anything of use behind for the gerations to come. Nothing, that is, except for the secret of Rhines Castle. What is the secret exactly? Vampires. In the castle. Not only living there, but running it - and the town of Derik's Hollow. They've been there for centuries - most of them born into the royal family, but the rest remain servants in the castle. They rarely leave their sanctuary because of the code. The Code of Rhines Castle was set up centuries before by King Derik Rhines. It stated that the townspeople were never to be bothered or harmed no matter the circumstances. That code had been honored for centuries. The vampires were only to kill the animals that lived in the nearby Hexx Woods, never the townspeople. But it's the younger vampires that have begun to break that code. They've gotten a thirst for human blood that can no longer be quenched by deer or squirrels. No matter how hard the young vampires try to resist the temptation - human blood is calling to them and it's waiting - every night - in Derik's Hollow. Unofortunately for the townspeople, they have no clue what's going on in that castle, or why friends and family just seem to dissapear on occasion and are never seen again. But the townspeople aren't completely helpless. They have a defence group that they aren't aware of. Werewolves. They, like the vampires at Rhines Castle, keep themselves a secret to the average townspeople. However, this group of werewolves has vowed to protect the townspeople, which they live amoung during the daylight hours and fight for during the night.
Battles between the vampires of Rhines Castle and the werewolves of Derik's Hollow happen very frequently but are usually just small skermishes between about 2 -4 people in total. But lately they've been getting more severe, and both the vampires and the werewolves fear that a full-out war will be apon them very soon.
When it comes to war...which wide will you join?

* I won't force you to role play in an advanced way, but please try to write as much as you can in each post with as much detail as you can muster up. Put thought behing your posts is all I'm asking.
* You may have as many characters as you can handle (please try to use them all)
* You can make any amount of vampires and/or werewolves that you can role play with (you don't need to make one vampire for every werewolf or anything like that)
* The above rule also goes for gender - it's not necessary to make one girl for every guy, however...
* I may change the above 3 rules if it becomes rediculously unbalanced, so keep it realistic
* Please try to let us know if you cannot role play on a certain day or until a certain date - I will d the same
* (a little pet peeve of mine) Please try to let us know when you are going to get offline (only wen we're in the middle of role playing together of course) so no one ends up sitting around waiting for someone who got offline or stepped away from the computer for a while
* Be respectful to others

Personality: Alucard is actually a very decent person, but he can't helpwhat his vampire insticts make him do. He's part of the group that has been sneaking into Derik's Hollow late at night kidnapping and killing them for their blood. Being part of the royal family, he wants to follow the code set up by his ancestor Darik Rhines, but the blood of the townspeople calls to him, as it does for many other vampires at Rhines Castle. Besides that he is normally very decent to the servants, as many are his friends. He is one of the few members of the royal family who are kind to them.
Background Information: He was born in Rhines Castle and was raised by one of the servants after his parents were killed.

Other: His favorite possesion is a pocket watch his father left for him before he died. He takes it with him wherever he goes.
