History

Born as the result of a overly-lustful noble's encounter with a serving girl, life was never destine to be easy for Aerohir. Abandoned to in the hands of an unloving father, by a hateful mother, neglection was rather high on a list of troubles the boy experienced. Brought up in Minas Tirith by a noble family was often the dream of many, yet Aerohir prayed days upon end to be rescued, almost all his spare time was spent playing with the lower class children in the streets; imagining he was a great hero of old, slaying the legendary Ancalagon the Black in single-combat.

Alas, what he wished for was not the case. Finding solace in the arms of a old, hermit lady - who he later considered his mother. The poor woman was barely able to feed herself, let alone a young boy. Yet she not only fed him, but she taught him her knowledge; Aerohir was taught the need for patience, and forgiveness, she taught him a great deal about history, and the mysteries of magic. Yet Aerohir remained as scornful, and resentful of the world as ever, seeing his life as unfair, and cruel. Failing to see a fix to the boys problems; she advised him to vent his anger, enlist in the Tower Guard. The idea seemed perfect, beg safe from the Black Armies whilst learning to fight? He poured his soul into training, for a full year he did not stop, studying combat with a sword until he felt like he had nothing left to learn; almost 13 hours a day the fool spent honing his skills...

He was refused the job as Tower Guard; whilst his ability to fight with a sword was impressive, apparently he needed to know how to fight spear and shield. A fool's errand, not even is family could afford a shield to represent the great slab's that were Tower Shields, of course they wouldn't dream of helping him. Yet undeterred, he continued to train, and began earning coin rapidly by offering anyone who can beat him in a sparring match 50 coins, if they lost they paid him 5.

The customers kept coming, and soon Aerohir was making a very healthy profit; enough to help his mother, and finally leave his pompous father for good. Soon enough, Aerohir was dispatching confident soldiers in a matter of seconds; for every fight he had, he learned a new danger, a new technique. Then his life changed, forever. The son of the Steward Denethor, Boromir, the great Gondorian Commander, had hear of the reputation Aerohir had amassed. The 18 year old accepted; and whilst usually arrogantly confident, he felt a great burning desire to prove himself to the General of Gondor. The battle that ensued was brutal... In the sense that Aerohir got his ass handed to him. Yet he managed to last for around half a minute, and for some reason or other, Boromir found this to be an absolutely outstanding feat, and he offered the teenager a place among his General's, believing him to be the greatest warrior besides himself and his brother in Gondor.

Four years later, and Aerohir is now away from Gondor; under Boromir's guidance, not only did Aerohir face the armies of Mordor multiple times in battle, but he became vastly more confident in his ability to not only raise the spirits of those around him, but also in his ability to wield a sword. The normal-folk of Gondor took to calling him the 'Champion of Gondor' due to his rise through simple bar spars, to the Second in Command of Boromir's main host, he was officially knighted by the now Fellowship Member just a few months before journeying to Rivendell with his idol. Despite where the man now finds himself; he has two vows he intends to keep, next he see's Boromir; defeat him in a duel. And to protect Middle-Earth from the tyranny of Sauron. If there was one thing Aerohir was proud of; it was that he made his mothers life one of comfort in the past few years, being a general was a well-payed job. Aerohir felt he could rest easy knowing she was living in an even bigger home than his despicable noble 'family'.

Personality

Fiercely stubborn; and patriotically prideful to no end, Aerohir is a difficult person to try to work with, let alone befriend. Sarcastic, egoistic, and reckless, the knight is potentially more trouble than help, with no regard for a leadership hierarchy - unless he'd in charge - it's difficult to make plans with him present, the man generally wants things done his way, or no way. Additionally; like most men of Gondor, Aerohir lacks the knowledge on Sauron to understand how much of a threat the One Ring truly is, all he knows is combat against the great armies of Mordor. However, his determination to keep Middle Earth safe from the darkness is unquestionable, he is a massive believer in all species' right to peace... Even if publicly, he displays a sort of racist grudge against elves. Despite this, Aerohir is genuinely kind, supportive, and selfless to no end.

Skills & Talents

+Expert duelist in single-combat:

His whole livelihood up to date has revolved around combat with a sword; and whilst he may lack the age of an elf, it was noted by Boromir himself that Aerohir was one of the most naturally-gifted with a blade he had seen. Even complimenting on having more than enough potential to surpass the Son of Denethor himself. A strange thing too, considering Boromir's own pride.

+Excellent knowledge of Battle tactics:

Whether it be in a duel to the death, or commanding an army; Aerohir was a Captain - and then a General - of Gondor. He commanded the largest army in the known world aside from the Black Horde's alongside Boromir. This means that he can apply tactics into any situation regardless, easily able to outsmart - and outmaneuver - enemy opponents due to being aware of his surroundings; and drawing on knowledge from his years of studying great figures such as Isildur, and the legends of Fingolfin.

+Charismatic speaker, and morale booster.

Leading an army of men against the great Dark Armies of Mordor required leaders of strength, integrity, and honor. Leaders who could give those they commanded hope, and make them believe in a better time. Remind them, just ehat they fought for. Since protecting Middle Earth was something Aerohir does with a passion, these many things were easily done.

+Decent Horse Rider; what knight isn't?

His promotion to a Captain of Gondor meant he had officially become a knight in the eyses of everybody; as such, though he never excelled. He understood the basics of horsemanship, though he preferred to leave that to the rabble of Rohan.

-Reckless, prone to rushing in and biting off more than he can chew.

Though his confidence in ability is not misplaced; Aerohir's actions can often lead to the rest of the group being indirectly endangered, or even him facing more than he's capable of. If the orcs could set traps; Aerohir would likely be dead long ago. Additionally, although he has incredible combat-smarts, and awareness. The two boons are only a real help IN combat. And reckless actions could easily lead him into a situation where Awareness and Battle-Smarts won't save him.

-Easily angered, hostility with other team members is easy.

Aerohir has one striking problem with groups; he is incredibly patriotic be they humans from Edoras, Dwarves from Erebor, or Elves from Loth Lorien. Non, came close to the greatness of Gondor, of Minas Tirith, or his people. Perhaps this is one reason Aerohir and Boromir became so close. Additionally, his experience commanding Armies means he genuinely believes he knows best. And one thing is for certain; Aerohir does not like to be ignored, underestimated, or disagreed with on matters of warfare, or his homeland.

-Prejudice towards elves.

Though he doesn't necessarily dislike elves; he does judge them, and from the talk of many folk back in Minas Tirith, and Osgiliath, they have a reputation of being oath-breakers; looking out only for themselves, and seeing men as inferiors. These judgments have made Aerohir slightly spiteful of the race.

-No ideal method of defence (shield, armor) aside from his ability with a sword.

He doesn't use a shield; with two hands, he can use far more moves with a sword, he's more agile, faster, and able to parry with massive effect. He doesn't ware armor; it's large, bulky, slows him down, tires him out more. However, the negatives are clear; he has little form of defense, especially against arrows.

Character Name: Yóssol (Maiar name) Yol ( current name)

Personal Details

Title: Istar( wizard)

Aliases: The blue lady ( Skarrenruf'Kivin) Daedheliell ( Daughter of shadow and horror)

Age: older than the world

Gender: female

Pronouns: she

Place of Birth: the undying lands ( took human form there)

Current Residence: doesn't have one

Gender Identity: female

Species: Maiar

Employment: wandering Wizard

Status: still just a wandering Wizard

Romantic Details

Sexual Orientation: bisexual

Marital Status: single

Current Partner/s: none

Previous Partners/: none

History

Yol as she is now called was like all Maiari created some time before the world was created she actually at first associated herself with Melkor before he was renamed Morgoth an association that that still tents to color some interaction with her. She favored him because she values Independence and freedom, When he changed she changed over to Varda due to a now shared hatred of melkor. This switch she claims was made after the great music where Melkor brought in discord.

After that Yol says she didn't do much or at least nothing worth remembering at any rate. That was until she was selected to be an Istari a chance she jumped at, though not expressly for combating Sauron. She however in the end went east with another blue wizard but separated even from him. The exact date of all this is inaccurate as really lots of her life can't be verified and Yol has a tendency to make up or embellish stories.

Some of the stories she tells about her time far away are rather unbelievable and seemingly contradictory or even change with each telling. A good exampled of this is she claimed to have tamed both a spawn of Shelob and a dragon though the story always ends with said creature getting free during a walk and never coming back.

Another of her favorite stories is the time she tried to settle down with some humans that no one has heard of. she lived in a house out in some woods near said people but claims she left because they called her a witch, or in another telling she claims a dragon happened to have came by and burned the village.

It is this tendancy that makes few take her seriously when she tells them what she has been up too, though the ones she tends to spend the most time with ( humans and dwarves) as she find elves tend to associate her with her former patron more than her current one.

With darkness once again seemingly coming back she has come to middle earth instead of staying at her assigned area in the east to combat evil once more, as she in her own words is tired of missing all the fun.

Personality

Yol considers herself the most " human" of her fellows even calling them stuck up. She tends to view races with shorter lives far more favorably than those that live eternally as she says eternity robs life of meaning. Yol highly values independence though what she view as that is more the ability to stand up for ones self and determine you own future. She tends to enjoy celebrations and while she is often late to many things she is never one to miss a celebration as she says that is when people are most free something she also values. With others Yol is a very pleasant person rarely one to act very serious even when it comes to a serious matter she will explain it with a hand wave an a short explanation devoid of any direness.

History

Born in the Iron hills while his mother visited her kin, Borin as he would be named was the son of Oin and nephew of Gloin. He was raised in the iron hills and became a champion during the battle of the five armies where he fought alongside Dain Ironfoot and his army, though considered young he managed to convince them he was ready and ripe for war and to fight with his kin. During the battle Borin was tested and tried several times over and found himself staring certain death in the face more times then he would like to recall, the mere thought of orcs getting the better of him was enough to anger Borin. But that day he was bested by a number of attacking orcs, the only way he survived that battle was his stubbornness to give in and show weakness of limb or body. Instead He stood strong and firm and glared then shouted a war cry and tightened the grip on his war hammer and axe one in each hand, before unleashing a fury of swings and forcing his way through the orcs and smashing and slashing his way through.... He found a strength that day, the strength to fight on until the end.

During that same battle he was given the name Iron-Beard a moniker earned through battle and a few arrows missing his neck that hit the iron ringlets in his beard instead. Since Borin has resided in Erebor and served in the capacity of a warrior of the mountain kingdom. While carrying the title of champion for his deeds in the battle and proving himself capable and strong. He had the respect of his people and known well enough by dwarves, some elves and others who would have been at the battle of the five armies or have knowledge of him from that battle, to allow him some greater roles in representation of his people or needing of him to lead dwarves in battle.

Borin also has always preferred war hogs to horses, and has come to own a war hog named Griff of whom he is quite fond of but his gruff and stubborn manner and his war hogs personality often clash providing some entertainment for others observing it. The pair of dwarf and his hog have a strong bond and fight well together in battle.

He like most has a great hatred for orcs and goblins. The thieves of his people and filth that bring ruin to their halls as he sees them. He can hardly contain his anger and hatred upon seeing them, bringing a eagerness to bash their heads in with his hammer and unleash that anger upon them.

Though he holds no grudge or hate for elves, men or hobbit. He does have a trust that is hard earned for those of elven blood, hinting at the history between his people and the elves being the cause.

Personality

Gruff, Comical, Loud, Proud and strong Borin is a difficult and stubborn dwarf. Often eager to fight and settle his problems with a hammer to his foes head, angers easily when his people or his homelands and dwarven halls are threatened. But through his gruff manner and stubbornness Borin is a loyal ally and friend who would fight to his last breath for them as well as his kin. He also has a complicated stance on Elves, He doesn't trust them easily but holds nothing against them for the past between them and his people.

Skills & Talents:

+ Great feat of Strength

+ Expert combatant with Axes and his Warhammer

+ Decent War Hog Rider

+ Brave and Fearless warrior

+ Steadfast

Alaenia Haerrows
Personal Details

Title: Lady

Age: 19

Place of Birth: Gondor

Current Residence: Gondor

Gender Identity: Female

Species: Human

Status: Noble

Romantic Details

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual.

Current Partner/s: None.

Previous Partner/s: None.

History

Alaenia grew up as child always feeling irrelevant. Whenever she would do anything wrong, her parents would huff, puff, and moan about how they wished they had a son instead. By the young age of five, she recognised that her mummy and daddy did not love her as much as other children’s parents did. It made her insecure; she always wanted to improve herself to make herself more likeable to her parents. By the age of 14 she realised that, no matter what she did, her parents were never going to like her much more than they did at the start. She could not physically change into a boy, and she would never be able to continue the family name. That is when she stopped trying. She became distant, and pushed away all those near to her. People began to whisper of her short temper and her coldness to others; many began to form cruel and spiteful nicknames of her- making jokes about whether she even had a heart. She fitted her family greatly, and honoured the reputation.

Personality

Alaenia is not easily impressed, being a high lady means there are many wonders in life that she has already seen. She has little expectations of anyone, for she does not believe in trusting the actions of others, and as a consequence likes to get things done on her own. She has a true ill temper, and will not refrain from releasing whatever spiteful opinion rests on her tongue. However, deep down, she likes to believe that there could still be some good in this world. Even though she acts like she doesn’t, she cares a lot about what others say and think about her.

Skills & Talents

Alaenia is as handy with a sword and upon horseback as any male warrior of her time. Being the eldest of only female siblings, her father often gave her the privileges that would usually only be given to a son. From the age of 5, she learned how to fight by sword. By the time she had reached the age of 13, she knew how to ride a horse as fast as any racer in her Kingdom, fight with her sword like it was another arm and use a bow & arrow as good as any warrior. However, she has always been trying to work on her physical strength- of which she has little to none of. She cannot lift nor move heavy weight objects. She also cannot run fast at all. Many have claimed she is dreadfully slow when it comes to long distance running, or even walking.

Her mental capabilities are somewhat endless, as long as you are not including creativity. She could not scheme to save her life, and she is awfully clumsy. Yet she is extremely book smart, having little to do in the castle but read, and has knowledge of a huge variety of wonders. Her most prideful skill is her ability to speak a range of languages and communicate with other species. Yet, she scarcely could know if she is good or not. For, her parents hate creatures of other races and hence she has never met any.

Sundar Voron

Personal Details

Title: Champion

Aliases: Talons of Mirkwood

Age: 2,196

Gender: Male

Pronouns: He/His

Place of Birth: Woodland Realm

Current Residence: Thranduil's Hall

Gender Identity: Male

Species: Silvan Elf

Employment: Mirkwood Ranger

Status: Protector of the Woodland Realm

Romantic Details

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Marital Status: Single

Current Partner/s: None

Previous Partners/: Several human women

History

Sundar was born to a noble family within Thranduil's realm and like many, was sent to his hall to learn many things until they were old enough to return home and protect their noble heritage. Forming a bond with the kings son, Legolas over the next few hundred years they became close, Sundar viewing him as his teacher and closest friend. It was due to this that Sundar actually refused to return home, shedding the shackles of nobility so that he could serve not only Legolas, but his father Thranduil more closely. Thanks to this choice he has recieved intense training in all skills that Thranduil thought necessary for his sons right hand man.

Eventually however Legolas and Sundar were seperated after the Battle of Five Armies for some time, as Legolas went to search for somebody thats name still remains unknown to him. At thee battle itself however Sundar proved himself to be an incredible warrior, the only elvees within the Woodland Realm deemed his superiors being Legolas and his father. Despite the incredible amount of death for the elves and dwarves this shocking experience proved to diminish Sundar's disliking of dwarves, enough so that he could gain some small amount of respect for their greatest warriors in the battle. Such as Thorin's party of dwarves, King Dain, and a lesser known dwarf by the name of Borin who he witnessed slaughtering dozens of orcs with both hammer and axe.

It was after this battle however that Sundar recieved his orders from the king himself that he was to take a small group of skilled elves and hunt down all the evil within the Woodland Realm. This is a task that Sundar continued to work on up until only a few months ago, killing thousands of orcs and other beasts in the process. However, after only two decades all of the other elves with him had been killed in combat, leaving Sundar in the foreest alone for several decades, having nothing to do except kill orcs. He now however waits within Thranduil's Hall for his next set of orders, distanced from his own kin due to his lack of contact with them.

Personality

Sundar is a rather simple man after his experience alone in the wilderness for several decades. Not in the way that his intelligence has diminished, but that he does not speak often, often forgetting hes in company. This experience has also made him rather distant from others, even his own kin, no longer attempting to speak with the man he views as his father figure, Thranduil. Among these things he has a surprising lack of hatred or disliking of the other races like many elves, finding them no less odd to him than his own race. However, this does not mean he finds himself making friends with humans or dwarves very often, as he still holds the past deeds of their races close, as he has lived long enough to experience many of them himself.

Skills & Talents

Archery: Sundar is only surpassed in this skill by Legolas and Thranduil within his own realm, and only by a surprisingly small margin.

Swordsmanship: Due to the fact Sundar has been little more than a warrior for the past 2,000 years he is extremely skilled in this field of combat, fighting on par with the best that both the human and dwarven race have to offer.

Agility: As most would expect, growing up as a warrior within Mirkwood has made Sundar very potent in such an environment, able to easily swing and leap from branch to branch, pulling off feats of agility unknown by the more heavy and clumsy races.

Fears little to nothing: Spend several decades in Mirkwood doing nothing but hunting beasts such as giant spiders, trolls, and orcs and come back to him.

Decent horseman: Due to the fact he grew up in a forested environment it isn't often that he actually rides a horse, but when he does he can manage.

Endurance and survival skills: Spending thousands of years learning to be a warrior in one of the most dangerous environments on the planet Sundar knows how to survive under harsh circumstances and keep himself going far past exhaustion.
