As the title may suggest, this is my search for a partner or two. I'm quite ordered and formulaic with this sort of stuff, so here's the ordered, formulaic parts:
- Me and You -
* I'm a very literate person, with me composing most of my replies in Word to start off with to ensure that no spelling or grammar mistakes slip through. I do like my partners to have good literacy skills as well, but I'm not incredibly strict on this. I do like to think I can tell when someone's not putting the effort in though, and firmly believe there's a difference between grammar being hard because your first language is Norwegian, and grammar being hard because you're being lazy. Harsh, but true.
* I really don't like people over - or under - controlling the RP. By this, I mean people either driving it one direction without regard for what I'm after, or people who leave incredibly vague replies which are hard to respond to. If I don't respond to your reply, reread you last one and make sure that there is a way I can respond to it. If your character keeps blanking mine, there isn't much I can do.
* I'm not a stickler for post time or length. Once a week is good enough for me, a
but if you're going away for a while, my reply might seem disjointed, as to be expected if the RP is given a break. For length, I'm fine with anything, provided it actually adds to the RP - be warned that I generally respond with similar length replies though.
- Ideas -
I'm down for all ideas, so if you have one of your own, or an alteration/elaboration of mine, go for it. I will add to this as time goes on. I am aware that some of these will be/are just settings, but I prefer to hash out the plot in conjunction with people, rather than in isolation from them.
- One character is a fairly devout animal activist, or at least has a passing interest on the matter. One day, they hear about a lab conducting experiments on animals, and end up 'raiding' the place with the intent to free them, as if often done. When they break into the facility, they don't see any animals, but a human. - my idea for this one is similar to a werewolf RP, with the wolf either being the product, or victim, of genetic engineering, the human they find being the wolf. Puts a bit of a twist on it.
- There's a clearing in forest which looks like the spokes of a wheel, with lots of paths and trails leading into this clearing. The special thing is that each trail leads into another time/place/dimension, leading to strange meetings.
- A regular human falls into another dimension, filled with mythological creatures. However, this dimension has their own mythology centred around humans, with science being their version of magic.
- Other Stuff -
* I usually play male characters. I'll be hard pushed to play a female.
* I am in GMT, so replies will be based around that. For the next week or so though, I am on American time, as most of my PC friends are American, so my sleeping pattern has changed somewhat.
* I don't mind about age, but I'm 18, so be warned. 《~~~ put that there to cover myself more than anything else.
