Camp Half-Blood was supposed to be a safe haven. A place where demigods around the country even world could gather, train and most importantly learn how to protect themselves. What went wrong?
It started off subtle. A camper on a seemingly-easy quest went missing, never to be seen again. The same day, rain started. Of course, with the Camp's magical boundary, it remained dry, but the mortal world was battered with heavy rain, high-speed winds, tornadoes, hurricanes and even earthquakes. It didn't take long for even Camp Half-Blood to be affected with the horrid weather that eventually started bypassing the boundary. The reason was eventually discovered; Weather gods. Khione, goddess of snow, was dead. Her father, Boreas, too terrified of the oncoming threat to do his job. Aeolus was kidnapped by an unknown person... Or persons. And they weren't the only ones.
A quest is in order. A group of chosen twelve demigods are needed to solve this threat before it gets worse, and before Camp Half-Blood is just another casualty of war.

Camp was on edge. It rested on the hands of the demigods to solve this crisis, but there was no prophecy being given, no quest being sent. The Olympians had all but disappeared - staying in Olympus every day, not communicating with their children. At all. If anyone thought that communications between the gods and their children... think twice now. It was Chiron who managed to find out the truth - there was a thief. Someone had snuck into Olympus and stolen the sacred item of every Olympian god. Hades' Helm, Poseidon's trident, Zeus' bolt, Aphrodite's rose, Dionysus' goblet, and the list goes on. Disappeared without a trace. It didn't take long for the demigods to guess that the same person was behind both threats, and the growing number of disappearing demigods from Camp.A quest is in order. A group of chosen twelve demigods are needed to solve this threat before it gets worse, and before Camp Half-Blood is just another casualty of war.
The Items
Zeus' Masterbolt. (Click)
This powerful rod of electric volts is the source to all the lightning in the skies. The Bolt is quite self explanatory as it is able to shoot multiple shard of electricity and lightning. The bigger the shot bolt, the more drained it gets. This is due to the fact that the Master-bolt is not being wielded by it's rightful owner but by a demigod. However, the bolt has a recovery period of at least 27 hours to regain it's full potential once more.
Hades' Helm. (Click)
The famous helm of darkness can render the wearer invisible. It can only be utilized once around a period of 24 hours from the moment the user strips it off their head. So it has to be used wisely. Whenever the helm is worn, despite being invisible, the demigod is still solid and therefore they cannot phase or go through objects. They can bump with obstacles and make their presence known if they are not aware.
Poseidon's Trident. (Click)
The almighty trident has the ability to shake the plates of the earth with one hit deep in the grounds. Like the two above, the trident has it's own recovery time. Again, not being with it's rightful wielder will not have or perform it's full effect. However, it can still cause crevices in the ground and shake it enough to cause a minor earthquake on the Richter Scale.
Ares' Shield. (Click)
Having Ares' shield is like having yourself encased in a bubble where you cannot be harmed. If activated, the shield widens and broadens in order to increase its' surface area for more coverage. That being said, the bubble can only last a few solid seconds. Despite the bubble deactivates, the metallic part of the shield is still there, still serving it's purpose. The only difference is the protection is only where the demigod is shielding and not 360 degrees around.
Aphrodite's Rose. (Click)
A few specks of pollen trickled down on a desired target followed by the user. The user will and is capable to temporarily shift his own appearance to that of his target's desire. The effects of this glamour are again only temporary and within fifteen minutes or less can easily start to wear off. If there is no pollen left on the rose, then no effect will take place until new pollen grains are regenerated.
Hephaestus' Hammer. (Click)
Despite looking very harmless, if smashed against the ground of a certain area it is able to stun for a tempo of five seconds withing a small radius around the point of effect. Like any other sacred item, due to not wielded by its' rightful owner, the hammer starts losing efficiency once it's repetitively used.
Apollo's Lyre. (Click)
A nice harmonious melody from the strings of this lyre can heal minor injuries. The more fatal the injuries are, the longer the time takes for its' regenerative process in order to be used efficiently once more.
Artemis' Bow & Quiver. (Click)
Having this bow followed by the arrows that are enhanced not to miss the caster's desired target. It's a definite bulls-eye when the arrows are drawn. However, to a disadvantage, only three arrows were left in the quiver. Only three shots to attempt.
Athena's Gorgon Shield. (Click)
This shield has the ability to induce fear into monstrous species. Other godly deities and demigods can be temporarily effected. If each serpent on the shield is retracted towards the gorgon's head, the induced fear no longer takes effect. Once the serpents are spread back to their edges, the shield is recharged.
Demeter's Cornucopia. (Click)
A nicely woven cone shaped basket which magically shoots and overflows with fresh produce such as nuts, vegetables, fruit and so on. Flowers and other edibles can also be thrown in the mix. Sure it's not very helpful but it comes useful when someone needs a snack or a massive 'spray gun'.
Hermes' Caduceus. (Click)
This scepter enclosed with serpents allows the wielder to have some enhanced movement speed as long as the two serpents eyes are open. When the serpents are out of energy they will rest and the amount of time they sleep. It is the amount of time that the caduceus recharges. Let's face it, thos snakes are really lazy.
Dionysus' Goblet. (Click)
This goblet is every party goer's lucky finding. This silver vine engraved chalice has the ability to turn any liquid poured in it, especially water into wine. Who wouldn't want that for some fine dining?

The Rules
โ First and foremost, my dearest co-GMs for this little idea are
Play On Words
and
CtrlAltDelicious
. Their word is as good as mine!
โ This will be based on the lore from the Percy Jackson Universe by Rick Riordan so no new crazy wild inventions just because greek mythology says so.
โ If you have any ideas or pointers you would like to give along the way, by all means, do not hesitate to let us know. However, it is upon discussion whether we incorporated or not.
โ This is an invite only roleplay with the maximum of twelve demigods. (2 maximum per roleplayer)
โ Basic generic rules apply; No God-Modding and no over-powered characters. We try to keep this fair and fun for each and every one of us.
โ We are aiming for at least a minimum of one to three replies per week.
โ If two characters are conversing and one of them does not reply withing a three day limit, the other roleplayer may go ahead and skip along.
โ We need around at least two juicy paragraphs for a reply and more importantly in the third person perspective.
โ Last but not least do not forget to have fun! I will eventually add links for easier navigation.
