Farseer to the Warsong Clan
In the year 2017, a team of scientists from all around the world were secretly funded by the US Government to perfect a machine capable of sending a person back in time, and then returning them to the present. When the experiment was successfully completed three years later, the scientists hesitated.
They realized that whoever had control of this machine had control over the past, present, and future of mankind. In secret, they decided to withhold the knowledge of their success, and the program was scrapped after a few more months with no forward progress.
The scientists took apart the machine and relocated to a private facility in the middle of a desert in Arizona. Here, they built the Clock Tower, future home of the S.T.O.P. Watch. The Clock Tower exists outside the timeline, and is completely inaccessible to those who do not have the proper device required to access. Within the Clock Tower, the scientists continued their work, eventually developing a teleportation system that could place the user anywhere on Earth.
But such developments do not go unnoticed. A species residing in the Alpha Centauri galaxy, going by the name of the Kulexi, had detected significant anomalies in the fabric of time. They tracked the disturbances to Earth, where they discovered the work of the scientists and the existence of the Clock Tower, although they are unable to access it.
In an attempt to preserve the passage of time, the Kulexi declared a shadow war on humanity. They would send agents disguised as humans back in time and alter the timeline in ways that would disturb the development of mankind. It did not take long, however, for the scientists to notice interference from their equipment in the Clock Tower.
In response, the human scientists formed the Space-Time Operations Platoon, nicknamed the S.T.O.P. Watch for short. The S.T.O.P. Watch consists of select men and women who are trained to protect the Earth timeline. When a Kulexi agent is detected, a team of Time-Keepers is deployed to eliminate the agent and repair any damage he caused.
This war has raged on for almost twenty years. The Kulexi have only gotten more disruptive, and there are not enough Time-Keepers to handle all the attacks. This is where you come in. For one reason or another, the S.T.O.P. Watch has selected you as a soldier in the war of all time.

5. Be a quality writer. Descriptive, interesting, all that good stuff.
6. Pay attention to detail. Know the location, know the point in time. You might have to do some Wikipedia research.
7. You're only human. Your character will not be perfect, and may even be bad at things.
8. You might die. If you do, you may roll another character or just leave.
