Introduction
100 days on horseback is what it takes to ride from one side of the Iron Circle to the other. With the exception however of the King's palace that lies in the centre, but that depends on who you are...and who you're with.
But hold on a second, you will probably be completely confused at this moment, wondering what the Iron Circle is and what this roleplay is about.
It is a medieval style roleplay, based on swords and armor, not guns and juggernauts. If you can't describe a bloody contact battle, using steel and iron, swords and shields, then this is not the RP for you.
Firstly, the Iron Circle is the large country in which the RP is set, it is shaped as a circle and the perimeter is surrounded by a grey but glinting sand, which has been rumoured to suck up the people who dare stand on it. They would fall into the sand until their head is obscured by it, and then never be seen again. But like I said, that's just a rumour. Or is it?
Secondly, the characters who you may create or I will, are engaged in a war that could end in disaster. One side, the more 'rebellious' side, have been threatened by the royal army to drastically change the life that they live in. These are the middle class and lower class people, the workers. All the blacksmiths and former knights and religious monks. The other side is the King Taras's side, he has a huge army and his palace at his disposal.
The King has announced that every town, church, fort or piece of land that is not owned by him should be handed over so he can change it how he likes, and therefore control the entire Circle. The rebellion was set up to keep that from happening, and as things progressed the leaders decided to try and thwart the King and all who support him and take the country for themselves.
You are either on one side or the other.
Both sides will stop at nothing to win this war, no matter how many innocents die or how much blood is spilt.
I have told you the story, now it is up to you. The war's result, who dies, who lives, and what of that pesky sand I mentioned earlier?
And you could be anyone, Royal or Rebel, monk or dictator, bloodthirsty night or helpless old woman. You could even be the King! But, that would be quite challenging for anyone who hasn't got RP experience.
And, no RP would be complete without some rules!
Rules
1: No metagaming. (Reading another RPers post that reveals some vital information that your char could not have possibly known, but they instantly know it the next post you do.)
2: No godmodding. (This refers to you, the poster, as God. Even the King cannot kill 500 men with a dagger and come out unscathed.)
3: Please try and use grammar. At least capital letters and correct punctuation. Please.
4: Try not to be inactive too, if you are going away or can't get to a computer, please tell us before. 3 days not posting is the most and then I might kick you out of the RP.
5: This isn't really a rule, but if you read this put, "Rule 5 is my favourite rule," in your app, I will not accept without this.
Post apps below, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me.
