Overview

Growing up in New York City, Andreas Hart had to do whatever he could to survive the crime ridden city. At a young age he joined a gang by name of the South Jamaica Villains, selling drugs and taking part in multiple burglaries. At 15, he found himself becoming father to a baby girl, Natasha, and then a single father a little more than a year later.

He dove deeper into crime to support his daughter, doing anything he could to provide a better life for her than the one he had. It didn't work, Andreas was arrested for a violent crime and sentenced to several years in prison.

After being paroled, he made a choice to leave crime behind and go legitimate for the sake of his daughter. Andreas got a job at a Manhattan restaurant and made sure he was constantly in Natasha's life.

Given the opportunity to buy the restaurant from it's ailing owner, he went from bank to bank looking for loans and found rejection each time.

Frustrated by these setbacks Andreas made a hard choice, he decided to get the money by any means, by robbing the banks.

He took initiative and put out word on the streets, hoping to come across a few like-minded individuals to pull off the jobs with.

Unbeknownst to him, happy endings didn't come so easily. Especially when money was involved.

As they say, it's the root of all evil.

________

The Root Of All Evil is a crime based noir semi-slice of life story taking place in a semi-realistic New York that follows a group of heisters as they try to steal their way to freedom, glory, stability, and power.

Like all good crime stories, things won't be easy and they won't be pretty.

I'm in search of players to round out the heist team, as well as those willing to play law enforcement that are intent on stopping them, or other criminals intent on making their own gains using the team.

There's even room for people interested in playing civilians caught up in the middle of all that happens.

If anyone is interested or has any questions, feel free to contact me or post here.
