The Room

(sort of based off saw, but more ROMANCE?! )


You wake up in a strange white tiled room, with 5 other strangers who you have never met before in your life, you are chained to the wall around your necks, merely inches froma strong and extremely sharp steel blade, 5 keys are layed out on a sort of podium in the middle of the room, when someone moves the others are pulled closer to the blade, Who will survive the first room? And the countless other horrific rooms that lie within? who will live, who will die?


(everyone except for myself and you will be either criminals or extremely selfish, violent, i guess.. romance is possible ))

well, i dont know, we'll just see how it goes i guess. But basically the other 4 people, who you and i can both control, are either drug addicts, or criminals, so yeah, things will get crazy. Ok, ill write my first post now.

Eric awoke with a start, the room was dark but not pitch black. It took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust, The room was dirty and the walls were like the walls of a bathroom except a lot dirtier and there seemed to be a red liquid on much of the wall. He couldnt remember anything about how he got here, the last thing he remembered was walking home from school in the rain. He saw something move out of the corner of his eye and quickly looked to see a girl, probably around his own age, she seemed to be unconscious but she had stirred a little. He also noticed an African American man to his left and to his horror across the other side of the room were 3 other people, another caucasian man, a young woman who looked like she was around 20 and a rather fat Indian man, they all seemed to be chained to the wall by their necks, a thick metal collar.


Eric felt his own neck and realised that he too was chained by this sort of metal collar. "Hey! who are you! How did i get here?!" The african American man had woken up, and seemed to be in a bit of a panic. "I..who... i dont know.. i..i just woke up" Eric stammered to the man. Eric tried to hide his fear but the man was scaring him a little. He then remembered, he had heard about this sort of thing on the news, a psychopath killer who set up these sick deathly mazes of spikes and sick violent games where only one person survives.

Kayden opened her eyes and realised she wasn't in the library where she had fallen asleep. She was sitting up right and in a dark room. Her eyes began adjusting to the darkness and she saw quite a few people most of them men. She was relieved at the sight of another female in the room. She looked at all of the other people again seeing a young man about her age who was yelling at other man. She was just as confused as he was she was dozing in the library waiting for her mom to finish work and now she's here chained to a wall with a bunch of strangers in the room. Kayden took in everything that was going on and was extremely upset. She was kidnapped and locked in a room probably left to die with a bunch of strangers. Tears welled up in Kayden's eyes she wanted to cry right then and there but didn't because she didn't want to make a scene or scare the others even more.

((Eric isnt yelling, the man is))


The man's eyes suddenly went wide and he pointed to somewhere behind Eric without saying a word, Eric turned around to see what had made the man suddenly act like this, and then he saw it, a big sharp metal blade which could easily slice his head right off of his body. He noticed that the chain ran into the wall, connected to some sort of mechanical device. He looked across the room, the other strangers were now waking up.


"Where are we! Tell me!" The rather fat Indian man yelled frantically "We dont know!" Eric replied a little frantically aswell. He heard a loud rattle of chains, the Caucasian man was freaking out, he dived forward and Eric felt the chain yank him a little closer to the sharp blade. There was a series of yells from everyone "What the fuck!?!?!" Someone yelled. The Caucasian man froze "Dont...move" Eric said to the room. "Fuck that!" The Caucasian man yelled "DONT!" there was a collective yell from the room, obviously when someone moved towards the center of the room, everyone else got pulled back towards the blade.


"Wait.. look!" the black man yelled pointing at what looked like a cd player about 3 or 4 feet from Eric's feet. Eric looked at the room "Im gonna grab that cd player.. slowly" Eric said to the room, everyone was already scared for their life and he didnt want them to freak out more "No way man.. you'll kill us!" The Caucasian man yelled. "It might tell us how to escape" The older woman spoke for the first time. Eric looked at the girl next to him, she had woken up, now everyone was awake. He moved slowly on all four's towards the cd player, he noticed the chains on everyone elses collars pull them maybe an inch or so back, he moved slowly the last thing he wanted was a frantic battle for those keys in the middle of the room that looked like they would fit in the key holes of their collars. He grabbed the cd player.

Kayden felt like giving up she didn't understand how they were going to escape. "Where are we! Tell me!" she heard someone yell causing her to look up. He was a chubby Indian man and he looked terrified just as the rest of them were. She heard the boy next to her yell and snapped her head in his direction. She shifted a bit moving away from the young just slightly. She wanted out but had no hope of getting that far. She listened as the others continued their conversation until the guy next to her grabbed a CD player that wasn't too far away from him. She still wanted to cry. Resisting the urge to break down she waited for the CD to start playing.

Eric pressed the play button on the cd player, the room went silent but the fear was still as loud as it was before. There was static then an eery high pitched tone echoed throughout the room before a voice started to talk "Greetings, i know you must all be wondering why you are here? You have all taken life for granted.. wasting this gift to fill your desires, drugs, crime, now you must fight to survive, right now you breathing in a poisonous toxin that will kill all of you within 2 hours, unless you can make it through the rooms, it will not be easy but if you work together you will all get out alive" The cd continued to play but the voice stopped, then about 10 seconds later it started again "In the middle of the room are 5 keys each will free one of your collars, Will you.. survive?" Then the tape ended the the room erupted back into panic.


Eric was thinking frantically, work together and they will survive? "Thats bullshit! BULLSHIT" the black man yelled. There was continued yelling, things started to get more and more frantic by the second. Eric had it "wait guys.." He knew that if one person got a key, it could possibly free everyone, no one had to die, but before he could do much more, the Caucasian male had started sprinting out in front of, Eric dived forward managing to avoid being pulled into the blade, it was on, He looked around, it was every man for themselves, everyone was pulling their hardest to get to one of the keys, he noticed the Caucasian man was in front, everyone else behind, but everyone was at different lengths, someone was going to die.
