  I

  n the midst of prohibition, organized crime is on the rise. in this story we follow a gang leader and owner of local speakeasy who's gotten himself a bit deeper than he can handle. his wife has her suspisions he may be seeing some of the girls that frequent his illegal bar, he maintains his innocence though it is true he has a mistress. his group of dimwitted mobsters are in charge of keeping his wife's suspicions downsized, nevertheless constantly getting themselves into scuffles with other petty gang members and loudmouths at the bar. meanwhile, the police are investigating a series of murders that all seem to lead back to one place, the speakeasy, one cop decides to go undercover, discovering the mistress may have more secrets than initially suspected, and that the bar holds a leery darkness in the community. Its far worse than the entire task force could have expected behind closed doors.

  the gang leader

  this mobster is the husband of the admin's character, lorraine fillman (linked above), he should be charming, clever, and historically accurate to the time period. the character should be made using the character sheet provided, all details are entirely up to you, and the personality is yours to craft!

  the mobsters

  there should be at least 3, the mobsters are members of the gang and are a sort of comic relief (though their roles are serious when necissary), they work at the speakeasy but are always causing trouble around town.

  the mistress

  she should be flirtatious, think maneater. she has sinister motives and is secretly behind a string of murders that trace back to a few years prior to the current events. once again, creative liberty is all yours.

  law enforcement

  obviously, this is the group of police officers investigating the murders. only one will serve as the undercover cop, first come first served. there should also be a lead investigator, captain etc. :]

  the policemen's wives

  these lovely ladies are the loving spouses of the policemen. you can give them their own subplots and storyline. These gals have the most room for your own personal spin on things, however just as all the other characters should be accurate to the time period. There can be as many as there are policemen

  the flappers

  these girls are frequents at the gang's speakeasy. they love dancing drinking and having fun, they can friends of the mistress, the wife, the policemens wives etc. they can be troublesome and love mischief.
