Appearance: Naraku is a shapeshifter, who generally takes the form of an individual wearing a baboon cloak, though as he gains more power, his clothing appears to change as well. However, under the cloak, he has long black hair and pale skin, and a rather athletic build/physique. Naraku's eyes appear to be red with white pupils, along with blue eyeshadow. He appears to have a large spider mark on his back, the mark that links him to his past human form, Onigumo.

Biography: Naraku was originally the human bandit, Onigumo. Before his eventual transformation into Naraku, Onigumo was associated with a group of roaming thieves. In order to gain control of the group, he tricked its leader, Rasetsu, into finding the priestess Kikyo, and attempting to take the Shikon Jewel of Four Souls from her. However, he didn't tell Rasetsu that Kikyo was being accompanied by the Half-Demon, Inuyasha. Rasetsu survived the encounter, though he lost his eye. As he made it back to the camp, he discovered that Onigumo had made off with each of his troops, and had formed a celebration for the change of leadership. Outraged, Rasetsu blew up the inn that Onigumo stayed in. Barely living from the blast, Onigumo was flung off a cliff.


By chance alone, Onigumo's charred body was discovered by Kikyo, who nursed him back to health, to the point where he could speak once again. During that time, Onigumo began to develop romantic feelings for Kikyo, though he would be unable to be with her do to his completely immobile body. At that point of desperation, the individual called upon a vast legion of demons, using his already corrupted soul. He had them devour and merge within him, in exchange for providing him with his former mobility, which he would use to claim the Shikon Jewel and the priestess. Thus, each of the demons were merged within his body. This resulted in the creation of the treacherous half demon, Naraku...


Alignment: Chaotic Evil


Personality: Naraku's personality has been displayed as highly sociopathic, greedy, and all around, malevolent. He has been the cause of countless suffering towards mortals and demons alike, and cares for no one other than himself. He seemingly possesses no redeeming qualities, and is even trying to push out every ounce of human nature that remains within him. He is not at all above going out of his way to create suffering, and has committed atrocities for malevolent purposes alone. His manipulative nature has caused him to be despised by even his own incarnations, as well as a plethora of others.

Kate Bishop grew up as the youngest daughter of a rich Manhattanite family. Her father was emotionally distant and busy with work while her mother died while she was still young. Though Kate was close to her older sister, Susan, she developed a very independent, blunt, and stubborn personality.


A few months prior to her sister's wedding, Kate was assaulted while walking in Central Park. The event initially left Kate traumatized and isolated. However, the ordeal eventually motivated her to learn several forms of combat fighting and self-defense. She quickly became proficient in swordplay, archery, and martial arts. She also met with a therapist during this time to work through some of her issues.[1]


Young Avengers


Kate first encountered the Young Avengers when they attempted to save her and two hundred other guests at her sister's wedding in St. Patrick's Cathedral. Unfortunately, the Young Avengers were only successful in starting a fire and becoming hostages themselves. It was Kate that saved them using one of Patriot's throwing stars. The Young Avengers were able, however, to escape the scene before the police arrived.[2]

After the attack, at the hospital, Kate was approached by Cassie Lang, daughter of the Avengers'Ant-Man. Together the girls tracked down the Young Avengers to the ruins of theAvengers Mansion, where the girls confronted the team and invited themselves on as members.[3] Not long afterwards, the Mansion was attacked byKang the Conqueror.[4] To join the battle, Kate donned gear from the Mansion includingMockingbird's Battle Staves and mask, Swordsman's Sword, Black Widow's utility belt, and Hawkeye's Bow.[5] After defeating Kang and saving the world, Kate and Cassie remained on as permanent members.[6]


Captain America and Iron Man ordered the team to disband and refused to train them. However, Kate used some of her family's money and connections to procure a new lair, as well as costumes and weapons for the team.[7] With Iron Lad gone, Patriot and Kate took on the unofficial roles of co-leaders.


A New Young Avengers Team


Kate had a romantic encounter with Noh-Varr in his space ship while it orbited Earth.[19] Kate and Noh-Varr went to help Teddy, Billy, Loki, andMiss America Chavez battle Mother, and the six formed a new team.[20]After defeating Mother, the Young Avengers, who had since added Prodigyand Tommy Shepherd, went to a New Year's Eve party. Kate told Noh-Varr that he missed his opportunity. She kissed Tommy at midnight.[21] After the party, the team decided to start the New Year together with breakfast.[22]


Team Hawkguy


Kate was recruited as a partner of Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye, in his street-level crime-fighting inBrooklyn.[23] The pair became not only a dedicated duo, but also close friends.[24] Kate had a flirtatious encounter with a mysterious man, not knowing that he was a contract killer sent to kill Clint.[25] Kate told Clint what he meant to her, but he was asleep and did not hear it.[26] Needing some time apart from Clint's immature choices, Kate left New York and went to Los Angeles, taking Clint's dog, Lucky, with her.[27] She advertised herself as a hero for hire ("Half super hero/Half private eye"), and began to investigate cases.[28]

Personality: sarcastic and arrogant at her worst Kate can be unhelpful on her bad days but her moral code of justice is hard to waver. Clint Barton once described her as a "Spoilt nine year old" out of fun the the whole rich thing is still there from time to time.

Biography:


Gaige was a high school student from the planet Eden-5. She originally conceived Deathtrap, then called DT, as a science fair project to combat bullying. Her rival, Marcie Holloway, was a contestant in the science fair as well, and used her father's money to buy her way through the competition. Marcie apparently stole Gaige's DT designs and sold them to Eden-5's police force.


On the day of the science fair, Marcie's father bribed the judges, helping win her first place with a defective robot based on Deathtrap's blueprints. Gaige placed third. Marcie then shoved Gaige, causing Deathtrap to identify her as a hostile. Deathtrap attacked with its claws, causing her to explode due to a miscalibration by Gaige. Gaige was escorted to the principal's office, and faced expulsion and arrest for accidentally murdering her rival. She called her father to create a distraction to help her evade arrest, and bought a ticket to Pandora, where she stowed away on a train leading to Windshear Waste.

Wilson became a test subject in Department K’s branch of the joint U.S./Canadian superhuman enhancement project, the Weapon X Program; his cancer was temporarily arrested via the implantation of a healing factor derived from another Department K agent, the mutant adventurer Wolverine.
