Fandom The Riders of Berk

Lock kept flying away from them at a cruising speed. He glanced Down and suddenly e tired a dive, plunging into the ocean, sadly with Flint still on his back. They surfaced, and lock had a salmon in his mouth, which he quickly devoured. He then began to fly back to the clearing.

Ice hesitated more, then figured the game was over now. She slowly flew back to the clearing and landed gently. She eyed the male dragon suspiciously for a moment, growling low in her throat as if to ask what his intentions were. Keani just continued to sit there, her hair loose around, held out of her face only by the few remaining french braids. She smiled slightly at the boy.

Suddenly, lock lunged at ice, and gave Flint a boost to speak Keani off of ice before lock tackled ice. Lock puffed a large ball of smoke at the base of Ice's wings, and Flint slashed at keani's throat with his hand. All that before the pair hit the ground. It was all a ruse.

Ice growled darkly in her throat, and Keani started laughing. "I tried to teach her to never trust anyone..." she said, standing and walking to her frustrated dragon. She started scratching the creature's head, smiling. "You're too young, too trusting, aren't you?" Keani smiled at her dragon, then looked back at the boy. "I'm sorry, but I forget your name?"

Locks mood changed again. He began gagging and regurgitated a chunk of fish. He then looked at ice, whom he expected to eat it. "ew, lock, I told you not to share like that. Disgusting." Flint said as he also got up and walked to locks side. "teaching her to trust no one at all would be a mistake. Firstly, and most obviously and clearly avoided, is she wouldn't trust you. Secondly, what if you were ill and needed medicine only a village had? She would avoid the village, and you would probably die." lock glanced Down at the fish, than looked back at ice. Basically 'eat it'. "teach her to trust the ones you trust most. So she has someone to go to when you can't guide her."

Keani looked at him. "I'll always be there to guide her..." she said with a small smile. "Even when I'm not. And I meant not to trust anyone but me, I just didn't say that part. I trust her and she trusts me, but she also trusts almost everyone right now. If a dragon hunter were to offer her a fish while holding a spear, she'd probably still try to take it..." Even as Keani said that, she growled softly, but ate the fish. She took off into the water to catch more fish.

"I see your point." Flint said with a chuckle. "but seriously, lock, never do that again. But still, trusting no one but you will backfire. As I said, teach her to trust only who you yourself trust." lock proceeded to follow ice, only he walked through the forest to sneak attack her when she got to the cliffs. "me and lock have the same relationship. We've both managed to save each others lives during a forest fire. I was ten, and he barley knew how to fly. First, he knocked me out of the way of a falling tree, and he took flight with me on his back. We were headed right for a cliff face at high speed, so I panicked and tried wrenching his head to one side. That managed to steer him away.

Keani smiled a bit. "Ice is my father's dragon's hatchling..." she said softly. "I raised her from her first day, and I will raise her until her last..." Ice caught a fish and quickly surfaced to eat it. When she no longer saw Lock, her eyes narrowed, and she dived back into the water, looking around her suspiciously. She did not trust that dragon.

"hers, or yours. There's always that possibility and I never exclude it. Anyway, perhaps we should keep an eye on our dragon, just to make sure they don't try and kill each other. Lock's a bit of a delinquent." he collected the tube from the tree, opening the cap. The owl head appeared at the hole and Flint let it hop I to his shoulder. He slung the tube over his shoulder by its strap. "no doubt in my mind, he is up to something. He means no harm. But he's an idiot sometimes." Flint continued.

Ice may notice large ripples from a different source location that her own.

Ice growled darkly under water when she saw the ripples. She quickly went after them, growling. Keani watched for a moment. "He's going to regret whatever he's doing..." she said with a laugh.

The trunk of a tree rose from the water a few moment later. Keani was suddenly licked from behind. "ugh, I am so sorry about him." Flint allowed the elf owl on his shoulder to hop onto a low branch, then he began to remove locks harness. Once it was off, lock leapt off the cliff, diving I to the water behind ice, so she didn't spot him.

Keani made a face and wiped herself off. Ice surfaced and looked around, confused as she looked for Lock. She could tell that he surfaced, but not where he had gone, and she hadn't noticed yet he was back underwater.

Venice and Autumn were not quite finished with their air time. The wind was strong, growing stronger than before and ripping the few orange and red leaves from the tree. The foilage swirled under Venice's massive wings, a twister of the warm colors of which Autumn was named. With the mechanical wings retracted and the darkening sky behind them, Autumn offered the dragon full control, which she often did, and Venice took advantage of that. The vibrant parts of her body begun to glow, making her go from invisible in the sky to the brightest thing within seconds. A bright blue and orange flame gurgled in her throat, then erupted from her maw, exploding into the air and raining sparks around the pair. "Well done, V" said Autumn simply.

Flint collected the owl again, and went to sit on the edge of the cliff face and watch the events unfold. Lock surfaced slowly, with only his head above the water. He stared at ice like a creep. "what on earth is that dragon doing?" Flint asked himself.

Keani shook her head. "Trying to get himself killed..." she said with a laugh. Ice heard a drip of water and turned, attacking the Night Fury. She shoved the dragon underwater, clawing at it. "She is not happy..." Keani murmured. "She's not a fan of games like that. Come on, Ice, that's enough!" She grumbled and flew over to us.

Venice started raising higher, her bright body growing brighter with each individual thrust. And then, she plummeted, streaking down the sky whilst spinning, becoming a spiral of different colores. She dove into the ocean, with Autumn still on her back. The girl held her breath as the dragon fired another long range spark. Within moments it seemed the entire ocean had lit up, but not from her light. Venice shot back out of the water, body still shining brightly as below her the bioiluminescense of the night exploded through the ocean. Glowing fish and enenimies shone their natural glow, as well as all the other sea creatures with glowing capabilities. The dark ocean seemed like it was reflecting the equally as dark sky, portraying a universe with all it's galaxies within the still water.

Lock would not have been happy after being attacked while he meant no harm. To spite her, lock took a pot-shot at ice with a small plasma bolt. It missed, as intended, and shot past the two standing on the cliff. "now that was mean, on both parties count." Flint said. Lock huffed up at them, then dove underwater to do some fishing.

Keani nodded as Ice curled up behind her. "I know. She hates those kinds of games, they make her nervous..." she scratched Ice's head in hopes to calm the Stormcutter down. Ice grumbled a bit more and pushed her head between Flint and Keani, wanting more attention.

(On my phone, sorry it's short)

Autumn then tore her fur overthrow from her back. She clipped it to her dragon's back, stood up, and then dove directly into the water. The glowing around her calmed her as she swam, bobbing through the vibrant liquid.

Flint stepped back ice requested more attention. "don't think I'm being a jerk, I do this with lock as well, I don't reward bad behaviour. And I consider that bad behaviour." he was speaking to Keani. Chip scampered to flints other shoulder so she didn't get taken out. She used to be on the one closer to ice.

Keani shrugged. "I understand..." she said, idly petting Ice's snout in a place that she knew the dragon didn't like. She grumbled, upset again. She knew Keani didn't do this unless she was in trouble, but at the same time, Keani didn't believe in punishing the dragons in public. It showed weakness. Keani looked at Lock.

Autumn surfaced, gasping for air as she breached the water. Electric eels circled her, their massive bodies rippling through the water. Autumn simply giggled, keeping as still as possible as she admired the creatures that would curiously approach her. The world nature had to offer was so beautiful.

(chip is getting no love whatsoever. xD )

Lock appeared to be having a feast. Flint spotted a shadow in the water some distance from lock. He knew this shape. A Scauldron. He didn't panic though. He did, however, whistle for lock. The long whistle was a danger signal that he tried to tried lock to respond too every time. Thankfully, this was one of the times he responded. Though he caught a couple of extra fish for the way up, he began flying up to them. But seeing ice with them, he decided to land away from them so he could finish his meal in peace. The Scauldron continued on its merry way.
