Fandom The Riders of Berk

"Of course I wouldn't mind." Autumn said simply with a shrug, before laying back down on her overly fluffy dragon. She snuggled deep into the soft black fur, rolling around in it for a minute, before getting comfortable.

Flint held his finger by the opening of the tube. Ship cautiously poked her head out and looked over in autumn and Venice's direction. Flint gave a light whistle, and this time chip responded. She also climbed out onto his finger. Flint lay the tube so, if she wanted to, chip could dive in at a moments notice. He got her to raise her bad wing, so he could examine it. Then he rolled onto his belly and placed chip on the ground just off locks wing. Chip would immediately roll on her back in the grass.

(Sorry this took me so long - I was at a decorating party for a club I'm in, and then I hung out with a friend to work on a huge graduation gift for my other two friends, so I haven't had the change to get on. I don't know how good this starter will be *starters are always the most difficult things for me, especially if I'm jumping in late*. I'm pretty much going to have Keani fly overhead and see the pair with their dragons.)

Keani slowly walked out towards where Ice was curled in a small ball, fast asleep. Keani dropped a fish she was carrying beside the dragon's face, the soft squish as the second landed on top of the first waking her. Keani knelt beside her, scratching her head while the dragon quickly ate, downing the rest of the fish Keani had brought with her as well. Keani smiled and brushed her hair behind her shoulder, annoyed by how the pieces of free hair tickled her shoulder. Her hair was french braided away from her face, chains braided into her hair as well, but the back of her hair was loose and constantly fell onto her shoulder. Her sharp, chiseled features were prominent when her hair was away from her face, but Keani didn't care about that, she just wanted to keep it out of her face. She walked to get her dragon's saddle as she braided the hair that had remained down quickly, tying it with a strip of leather. She walked back to Ice not long after and saddled the obedient dragon before getting onto her back. They took to the air, and Keani closed her eyes, letting what she felt take over. She could feel Ice's powerful muscles move beneath her while Ice beat her wings. She could hear the wings of her Stormcutter slicing through the air cleanly and swiftly. She could smell the wet dewy scent of the morning air. After a few moments of flying like that, Keani opened her eyes and started scanning their surroundings. She was in the mood to fly and find a good area to train in, somewhere new, so she let Ice go where she pleased in an effort to find someplace different to train in. About ten minutes later, Keani could see what looked like dragons not far away. As they got closer, Keani could see that she was indeed right, and that the dragons had riders. Keani was quickly interested in what these two riders were doing so far away from anywhere, so she slowly guided Ice towards the ground. Ice and Keani circled above for a moment before slowly flying down.

(Alright - and I know it's night now, my timeline is off a bit, but I wanted to start at the beginning of her day, because she'd probably be flying most of it. I've been awake for about twenty hours now so I'm too brain dead to get a timeline correct, sorry, LOL.)

((ah, what the heck. I'm bored, so I'll post.))

Neatly wrapped up in locks wing, Flint stirred, groaning. He woke with a start, though not actively. His eyes flung open and he inhaled sharply. This disturbed lock, and he looked at Flint for a moment. Flint looked back. "I'm fine, locky." he yawned. "just a bad dream." lock lowered his head, looking up at the sky...... Lock caught sight of another dragon high above, and it began to descend towards the group. Lock quickly rolled onto his feet... And as Flint was tucked in the crook of his wing, he got flung into on the the nearby trees. "WOOAAAHH!!" he calls out in surprise as he flew through the air, to end up dangling from a branch. Chip, who was nestled in the fur of Venice's head, rose her head, curious as to where her friend went. Lock had his gaze set skywards, to the dragon and rider above.

Keani let her slowly circle down and land, knowing it would be less shocking if she did it slowly. She pat Ice's head and very slowly let the dragon touch ground, her eyes on the two dragons warily. She looked at the one who was standing first, and made sure that her intentions showed that she meant no harm. Dragons could usually yell intentions, especially when they felt threatened. Ice carefully took a step forward with Keani still on her back, the pair both trying to show that they were not there to hurt the dragons or their riders. As they slowly moved, the chains in her hair softly clinked from the light breeze passing through, but that was the only sound Keani and Ice made. They were both found of silence.

(x__x hadn't realised we started yet!)

Valkyrie stood on the hull of her late father's ship, sword and shield in hand. Under the water's surface, though one would not be able to see him there, Vordr swims close by, keeping a protective eye on his friend and master, acting just as the guardian spirits he was named after. It was just a joy ride, for now, but still he would stay close should he be needed. As they pulled back into port, Val ran amd hopped off the ship and onto land before the ship had even stopped moving. Just as her foot hit the grass, her dragon surfaces from the water and flies up to land beside her.

"Woo! Good trip." She announces. "You liked it, too, huh?" Vordr let out a purr-like sound of agreement.

Autumn just groaned in her sleep, rolling to a side on her dragon's back. Venice, however, had awoken from the commotion, and slowly crept upwards, keeping her back steady so the sleeping girl wouldnt wake. The massive dragon had her teeth bared, the ivory bones glinting in the morning sun. She snarled, taking a hostile stance as she usually did with strangers. Autumn let out another soft noise as she awoke, stretching and allowing her heavy eyelids to flutter open. She let out a squeal when she noticed what was goingnon, and scrambled to sit up on her dragon's back. "What the hell is going on?!" She squeaked.

"I'd like to know the same thing." Flint said flatly from the tree. Lock sat wagging his tail, and had an expression of curiosity towards the new dragon and rider. Chip, who was still on Venice's head, dives off as her fluffy platform rose. Landing with a roll, the owl scrambled for her tube, which lay open nearby.

Keani extended a hand and the dragon pushed it's nose against her palm, sighing. It's naturally very hot breath warmed her hand and arm, and she slowly slid her hand up to pet it's head. Once it was satisfied that she wouldn't hurt them, she turned to face the girl. "I saw two rare dragons with riders. I was curious..." she said simply, Ice moving toward the second dragon slowly, once again making sure the dragon would be able to sense her good intentions. She had Ice stop moving after every two steps, letting the feathered dragon get used to them so she could speak with the riders without being attacked.

Autumn was hesitant, along with Venice who clearly wanted to move backwards, but didn't due to Autumn's lack of commands. The pair just stood, Venkce spreading her wings to make herself look larger and more intimidating to the strangers. "Easy girl." Autumn murred, her voice soft. She sat higher on her dragon's back, gaining a posture with a hint of pride, trying to make herself seem less scared. "Who are you lass? What is your name?" She asked, which almost sounded like a demand.

Val caught sight of a small crowd of dragon riders and, curious, she headed on over to them.

"Well, well. What's all this here, huh? Some kind of meeting?" she asked as she sauntered up to them, Vordr slinking up with her.

She was curious if something big had happened, which it would seem with a group up so early. She hated to miss out on things, even if it was for a sailing trip.

Keani didn't respond until the dragon let them get close enough to smell them. "I will converse when my safety is ensured." She murmured softly. She slowly lifted her hand for the dragon to sniff, not moving any closer, just waiting. Ice turned her head when the new rider entered, but Keani kept her in place.

((hey! Post order please! T_T I'm trying to make one but others keep posting so I have to keep changing....))

(well uh... considering i would like to jump in i kinda had to throw off post order. unless yould prefer i read the rp instead of play in it?)

"no one wants to help me down from here? Okay." he said. He began to climb down himself. He misjudged the strength of the last branch he stepped on and it snapped. Only about two metres from the ground, the fall wasn't dangerous. Butt it did hurt. After greeting the newcomer, lock totally ignored his riders predicament like an amazing friend would. "just an impromptu camping trip. And some others turning up for no reason we know of. And don't worry about lock." Flint said, gesturing to his dragon. "the only threat he is, is damp clothing." Flint then proceeded to pick up the tube the little elf owl scrambled into. "you okay in there?" he said quietly to the tunes occupant.

Autumn had never been good with others. One person was enough for her, but it seemed more and more kept pouring in. Venice snarled again, also rather new to this meeting of new dragons. As they neared her she started to crawl backward. "No safety will be ensured..." Autumn started, as Venice rose on her haunches. The girl held on, keeping an eye on the newcomers as she finished her sentence "... Until introductions are made." The girl grumbled, flicking a hair out of her eyes as her beast stood up on it's hind legs, clearly scared of the other dragons. A nervous dragon is a dangerous dragon, and Autumn knew that.

(Post order is me, Azimuth, Honestly, and Moon due to the order they joined.)

((I shall pass my turn this time, because I posted immediately before Obnoxious. It's too early for me to go again. Honestly may post now. ))
