The Return of the Cult

Veyd Sahvoz

Master of Resonant Souls
Veyd Sahvoz (a.k.a The Overseer) has been trapped/bound to his mortal form. For 2 years now he's lived in the realm of Mundus trying to adjust to life amongst mortals with no memory if his past, but has been planning to find something he feels he's lacking. Gold, an argonian of Cyrodil, has come across the confused dragon, helping him find his way but that's not all that has happened. With this is a reason... It could very well be that the Elder Scrolls have foretold of this and this is fulfilling the prophecy but is this really the fragment of Arubis' doing? Or the return of the Cult of Scorro?

Veyd sat at a stool in a bar in Riften, chugging some black-briar mead and colovian brandt. The bartender was smart enough not to question a tall 7 foot tall, skeletal figure with a scythe. Slamming the bottle on the counter, he called tge bartender for another round.

"Ammy, what do you say to a run?" asked Gold. "I need to get to Riften, anyways."

"Ammy's fine with that," Replied Ammy through Issun. "She thinks it's been a while since you two ran."

A drunkard randomly came up to Veyd, he was obviously pretty hammered "Heys you skreltal, whater yhour doin" he slurred, slamming a bottle of colovian brandy on Veyd's head. Veyd slowky turned to the man and, out of no where, he jammed a void ball into the mans chest. The drunkard was sent across the bar, with a giant hole in his chest. The men looked at him in horror and not long after the guards came. Veyd tried to sneak away but was forced to fight with no weapons.

(No weapons, my arse!)

*LATER-ish...* (I said my line before yours so I could meet up with you during the fight.)

Amaterasu, Issun and Gold arrive in Riften, only to hear a fight going on at the bar.
"Ugh... Ammy, let's do this!" exclaimed Gold, bored and ready to fight.

"Okay," replied Amaterasu through Issun.

We run to the bar, the name of which the pair forgot in the heat of the moment. We see a dead man with a hole in his chest and a tall, skeletal man. the skeleton was surrounded by guards, completely outnumbered and unarmed. Gold draws his Dwarven Greatsword and Amaterasu summons her Thunder Edge Glaive.

"Ammy, try calming them down with Bloom," cried Issun.

"She can do that?" asked Gold: Until now, he had only seen Amaterasu use Bloom to grow crops and flowers.

(Veyd lost his memory when he was trapped in this form, he has no idea how to use his god lik powers he will eventually though)

Veyd grabbed a guard and all the others stabbed him and shot arrows at Veyd. For some odd reason they pass right through him and he throws a ball of some strange dark blue fire at the guards. Taking the oppurtunity to throw one if himself, not noticing an argonian and some other people nearby.

(How do you explain the void ball and thermo-fireball, then? Also, other people? Issun looks like a little wisp on Amaterasu's head, and Ammy is a white wolf with red stripes, and weird wing-like things on her shoulders.)

Seeing the skeleton go all badass made Gold's need to fight even stronger. "Ammy, Power Slash them," he says.

"She wants to know why you want the guards slashed," replies Issun.

"To tell the truth, I've always hated Skyrim guards, and I think Amaterasu does as well."

Amaterasu turns around and draws a straight line with her tail on the guards, implying one thing: "You got that right..." The guards are sliced badly, as if with a large blade, but not killed, like a rabbit would be, or a wolf.

(Weapons? Pfff who needs weapons :D )

Veyd stopped fighting for a moment to look at a wolf and a lizard? Helping him? He looked at the last of the guards and raisef his skeletal hands, spewing blue fire at them, burning their souls (soul fire)

"Let me try something..." said Gold, equipping a weak fire spell and a weak ice spell. He combines them to make water. "Ammy, Waterspout!"

Amaterasu draws a line from the water ball to the guards, then a line from her weapon to everything she put it on. The guards are soaked, then electrified.

Looking over at Gold and the wolf, Veyd walker over "Who are you and why were you helping me?" he asked, having a feeling he knew the answer.

(He knows how to create ALOT of spells from re-learning or remembering types of magic but he can't use void, light, or dark magic other than a small void ball)

"You look like a good fighting partner, and, to tell you the truth, I absolutely HATE the guards. Don't let you do a thing without yelling at you," replied Gold. Case in point, he slashes a guard with his sword, killing him. "Anyways, my name is Gol'diir, but call me Gold. This is Issun" Gold points to the one-inch-tall Breton.

"And this wolf is Amaterasu, Goddess of the sun," continues Issun, who's voice sounded like a 10-year-old's. "I call her Ammy, for short. Gold does, as well."

(I think, since Veyd isn't exactly a normal guy, he should be able to see Ammy's marks. You know, the red stripes, and winglike things on her sides and shoulders.)

Veyd observed the strange group and picked up his scythe "I am Veyd Sahvoz. So tell me, what made you come here?" he asked, curious still about why they wanted to help him.

"Well, Hold said there was something he needed here," replied Issun.

"Then I heard the fight, so we came over here," finished Gold.

Veyd thought of the recent attacks around Cyrodil by some unknown force, partially the reason he was so far up north. He thought of a risky plan and since the lizard, wolf, and breton were here he myswell ask them "Say…I need a…favor. You up for heading to Black Marsh? Or Cyrodil?" asked Veyd, heading to the exit of the bar.

"Cyrodiil would be okay," said Gold.

"Why not Black Marsh?" asked Issun, "Isn't that your home?"

"Not really," responded Gold. "It was my ancestors' original home, but my parents were immigrants, therefore, I do not belong in Black Marsh. Cyrodiil is much more familiar to me, seeing as how my parents had me there. I moved here, to Skyrim, because I thought it'd be a lot quieter here then there."

"Well thanks for the information and history. Are you up for going soon?" he asked, not really wanting to lose time if the problen in Cyrodil was that bad.

[QUOTE="Golden Glow]
"Let's go," They both replied.

Veyd walked out if the bar snd motioned for them to follow "You've a map of how to get to Cyrodil?" he asked, feeling like a bit of an oof fir not knoeing where the hell it was.

(The typo is real! Holy crap! Think I fixed it.)

"No, But Ammy has a trick," replied Gold.

"Got a mirror, and red ink?" asked Issun. "We won't need to walk."

(Can't use void magic so I can't create matter :P )

Veyd turned around and walked upstairs in the tavern, barging into a room and getting a large mirror, walking back down stairs while dragging his scythe along. He took a vial out of his robes and savored the blood of a dead guard "Will this do?" he said, an expressionless empty face shrouded in shadow staring down at the lizard.

"Yup," replied Gold, taking the mirror. he takes a paintbrush, and paints a large, red "X" on the mirror, turning it into an Origin Mirror.

"Ready, Ammy?" asked Issun. Amarterasu barks in reply. She uses her own ink to paint a black "X" over top of the red one. For some reason, the 4 of us all teleported to a matching mirror in Cyrodiil.

"When I met Issun and Ammy, and heard of that power, called Mist Warp, I painted a red 'X' on this mirror, just in case," explained Gold. "You see, Mist Warp only works with the Origin Mirrors. It teleports you from one Origin Mirror to the other."

"Interesting . . . where in Cyrodil are we exactly?" he asked, still confused a bit.
