It's an EXTREMELY deadly force that goes by the name of just The Cult. Their numbers are unknown and they seek the power of Padomay and Anu. With it they will have their current power enhanced by. . . .gods only know how much, and with it they'd have complete and absoulute control over Aurbis.
 
Oh, right... You've never played Oblivion... Or the Skyrim Dark Brotherhood questline.

There is no Emperor. In Oblivion, Both the emporer and, apparently, his son die in Oblivion. You kill the Emperor at the end of the DB questline.

-_- Oblivion was 200 years before Skyrim. I don't know how long it was until the Mede dynasty came in but it was after the septim one ended. And I thought this was themed 26-30 years before the events of Skryim.
