OOC: Several villages near the base of the Paizu Mountains have reported to have been the victims of raids brought upon their crops and food storages. Originally done during the night in secrecy, the raids have been growing bolder, with recent conflicts resorting further into violence and even attempts of arson. The assailants responsible are reported to be by a gang of rowdy simianfolk, however any attempts to locate their hideout have so far ended in failure. Upon the latest of these victims was that of Garagol Village, a quiet establishment sitting right at the southern base of these massive mountains. On behalf of the nearby villages afflicted by the raids, the elder of Garagol had requested assistance from the Adventures Guild to help with the investigation and potential arrest of said gang.

- 3). Any [Wanted] or criminal titles your character might have. (Note, some city or guild-related settings will make entry for criminals considerably more difficult and would need discussion pre-joining.)

- Speak with Elder.
It was a chilly late morning at the base of the Paizu Mountains. Beneath the towering trees scraping the gray overcast skies, nestled beside the gentle sounds of the flowing river, Garagol Village stands as a testament against the beautiful yet harsh valley. Even against the recent cold spell's harsh winds coming from the mountains themselves do the villagers continue going about their daily tasks and obligations. It was peaceful for the most part. The houses were old and had seen its share of wear and tear, but had generally well-kept interiors that made for a cozy living space. By the rivers edge, a watermill creaks gently as the wooden boards dip up and down the lapping waters with a steady pace. And across it via a small wooden bridge, a lush meadow made it the perfect location for farmers to grow their crops with an assortment of fields growing different crops...
That was until recently.
The once lush and perfect fields were now littered with trampled paths and flattened circles. A significant majority of vegetables and wheat had been forcibly taken out, some of which seeming as if they'd been sloppily cut by a sharp blade or ripped out by sheer strength alone. One field looked to have been scorched completely by a recent fire, despite not being a signs of any wildfires recently. It was as if it been purposely, or accidentally, scorched by something or someone. As the farmers attempted to repair the damage out in the fields, the rest of the villagers within the town went about their business as usual, despite their moods not being at their highest. Most of the locals here were of beastkin origin, a standard sight seen in the Republic, comprised of various different species and wearing modest if not worn-down tunics and clothing. A few humans, elves, and orcs could also be seen in the background, though they were of the minority here.
Standing atop the hill, looking over the pastures by what looked to be the village center, an elderly Capri could be seen grasping his staff with a solemn expression on his face as he talked to several villagers. While his horns were long and curved, his eyes were small and beady being covered by white shaggy eyebrows of lush wool. He looked quite tried but diligently propped himself as accommodating to the needs of the others. Given the description by the request paper seen in the Adventurer's Guild, he looked to be the village elder.
Just the person you needed to report to...
