Keirra_Evans_edit.png

Ever since watching the first Fast and Furious movie, Keirra had been engrossed in the idea of racing cars, so much that she had taken to racing cars. It had started out with racing games and an obsession with anything that had to do with racing cars. With a dream car in mind, the girl had worked so that she could buy her first car, a Subaru WRX and once she got her license, she got her first speeding ticket shortly after. Since it had been her first offense, the cops had been gentle with her – this time. They had made it clear that they would not be gentle with her should it happen again.

Though with a lead foot like Keirra’s there was no way she would learn a lesson from this. She lived to hear the rev of an engine and there had been plenty of times that her parents had threatened to take away her keys. At the age of eighteen, she moved away from her parents so that they would no longer be able to interfere with her dream job. Car shows were another favorite thing that Keirra allowed herself to focus on, she often tried to find leads on professional racers so that she could join and become one herself. Each time she came up empty handed.

It wasn’t until she had customly painted her Subaru WRX and spent a night cruising around downtown Los Angeles that she had found her group. Of course up until that point, Keirra would race any car that would play, it typically being the same car on the same stretch of road. She hadn’t expected to find the car at the underground racers, however. It had just been custom, see the other car and pass it and spend the rest of the drive keeping them behind her or trying to pass them. It was like a game.

So as she noticed the other car she couldn’t help but walk up, the girl looking over the car curiously before approaching the driver. “You know, I don’t know if your car quite belongs here. Especially since you have trouble on the long runs.” The girl teased, gesturing to her black and silver Subaru that was parked across from his.

Mike has been racing since he could remember himself, starting on go karts when he was just a kid and later switching to Midgets and now running the Mazda MX 5 challenge his ultimate goal being Indy or NASCAR. Though this was his professional side, organized racing was fun and it was ultimately his main focus but street racing was what made his heart pump. He wasn't sure why, maybe the added pressure of the police or the fact his own money was on the line maybe it was the reputation of his crew, he didn't know why but every time he tried to quit street racing he came back hungry.

Mike was in an underground car show/race lobby, he found it funny how people divided by car manufacturers so much they basically became rival gangs. Thankfully with a lot less fighting and shooting and a lot more racing though with about the same amount of drug dealing, he was talking to a few girls that came to check out his car opening the hood for them to admire his 6.0L V8 Engine, one that had no business being in a third genertion Camaro. He didn't notice the new girl park her car until she challenged him in front of everyone, Laughing Mike turned around to face her seeing her point at her Subaru his smile grew wider. They never met before but they had a long history, of countless and countless of traffic light drag racing ones he won and lost a few times, his car was slower on the accelerator but had a faster top speed, the longer the run was the higher his chances were. "Really? I might be slow at the start." Mike paused "but by the time the race ends I can barely see you in my mirrors." This kind of trash talk was so common it was basically considered as a greeting between two rivals. Mike of course didn't shy away from it he loved the trash talk.

Upon approaching the familiar car, Keirra had managed to grab the attention of many of the girls that had swarmed the car and it’s driver. Nonetheless, none of them looked happy to see her, especially not as Mike turned around to face her. Seeing her rival for the first time face to face and seeing the sudden recognition once he saw her car earned a smirk from the girl. Oh yes, she was willing to call him out right here in front of everybody.

Many would say that the girl was foolish for challenging a Camaro with her little Subaru but she knew her car and she trusted that it could get the job done. And regardless of whether or not she thought she would win or lose, she wasn’t one to back down. There were a few times that she had beat him but she knew that it most likely had been a fluke. Regardless of the chance of losing, Keirra was looking to challenge him again.

She was greeted by the classic challenge and a little bit of trash talk which caused the girl to smile sweetly at Mike, a sickeningly sweet smile that clearly stated that she was up to no good. “Well then, what are you waiting for?” The blonde questioned with a tilt of her head. She was dressed in a black v neck shirt and a pair of ripped blue jeans. From behind her, a gang of boys and girls were sitting on a few other Subarus, each of them grinning. “You get em, Kei!” They yelled, cheering their girl on.

She had taken to underground racing because not only was it more thrilling than regular drag races out on the streets but she also could win money from it. Most of the money she won went towards building her dream car, a Toyota Supra. Of course, that wasn’t the car that her gang drove but she didn’t care. “I’ll meet you at the start line.” Keirra told Mike before walking over to her car. She got in and revved it up at him a couple of times playfully before driving to the starting line and waiting for the male to bring his Camaro forward so they could race.

Mike laughed as the girl did not back down an inch and seemed to be enjoying herself, He watched as she started up her car and reved it up at the make shift start line. Memories of the countless of times they raced for no reason at all other than race came up to him, he enjoyed racing her it had an innocent feel to it. A race to see who was faster nothing else, no gang reputation on the line no money just one on one to see who was faster. "Excuse me ladies, but I got a race to win." He apologized to the girl who he was talking to earlier but honestly he cared so little for them he didn't even know there names. Driving the car to the start line and stopping, shifting to neutral and revving the car up. A young half naked girl walked in between them. "Any bets?" she asked, Mike smiling taking out a grand he just won last night and giving it to the girl. The girl then turned to Keirra expecting the same amount to be placed by her. Mike liked racing her on the road for the sake of simply seeing who was faster, but this was not some road this was a real race, a race where he was planing to win some cash of.

There were a lot of things on the line with this challenge, her own reputation was one of them, as well as some of her hard earned prize money. It wasn’t long before the red Camaro lined up next to her black and silver Subaru, the male revving his engine at her playfully. The gesture wasn’t threatening to her in the slightest, she knew she’d have him on the take-off, it was later on in the race that she had to worry about. Her gang was watching her from the bumpers of their cars, many of them looking worried. But who wouldn’t? It was a Subaru vs a Camaro and her car wasn’t poised to win.

Regardless of all of the odds being stacked against her, Keirra was determined to show Mike that she would take him on here and now even with many eyes on the two. Once the bets were placed, Keirra handed over one thousand dollars, prize money that she had just won from a race where she had been poised against a Mitsubishi Eclipse. She had barely won that one and so she knew this Camaro would be giving her hell. As long as she was able to at least hold him down for a little while she would be happy.

Even if she lost this race, she wouldn’t give up her days of playing with the Camaro out in the streets, after all, it was a custom greeting at this rate. However she did change things up a bit this time, the girl rolling down her tinted windows to blow a kiss at Mike. There had been a couple of times where Mike had tried to chase her down after their races but each time she left him in the dust, the little Subaru going places where his Camaro couldn’t.

She rolled her windows up again and focused her attention on the light post in front of her, just waiting for it to turn green so she could get this race started.

Mike couldn't get ride of his smile, it was the first time he saw the girl behind the wheel of that Subaru, he often cursed the guy who invented tainted windows for that fact when he tried to chase her down after the races, but turning speed was a hands down win for the Subaru luckily this was street drag race, where he had the major advantage. A street race with a grand on the line, a grand Mike wanted back plus extra. Mike's crew sitting on the Chevys watching him as the race was about to start, some cheering for him though some didn't like him too much for running the Mazda mx 5 series, Mike wasn't about to sabotage his pro career because his crew only liked Chevys and in turn they didn't like him.

But Mike didn't care about that right now, all he cared about was this race and that Subaru and mostly importantly seeing that Subaru in his rear view. He looked at Keirra once again, only to see her blowing him a kiss, Mike couldn't control himself he was a real freak about racing he shouted with excitement as he reved his Chevy.

Keirra_Subaru_Collage.png

Along each side of the road there were tons of people gathered, people supporting both racers and a few fans who were curious to see who would win between a Subaru and a Camaro. She was revving her engine back at him, her little Subaru purring with each rev. The male was excited and it was a contagious feeling as the girl found herself grinning. The lights on the light post lit up which immediately caught the girl’s attention, the female readying herself for the green light.

It seemed like forever as the lights counted down to the green light but as soon as they did, she was off the line. Her Subaru went from 0-60 miles per hour in a matter of 5.5 seconds so as long as she kept him behind her she could win this race and earn back her thousand dollars as well as some of the extra money that Mike and some others had bet. For now she had the Camaro behind her but she knew that it wouldn’t be long before he overtook her.

Each time she raced Keirra risked losing the money that she had been saving back for the Toyota Supra she had been working on building. She had the frame and was buying the rest of the parts though it was a slow going process because no one in her racing gang knew about the car and she couldn’t work on it when they were around or it would cause a fight with her and Brody, the leader of the group. Their group was very strict on the Subarus only rule and Keirra had vowed to switch to her Toyota Supra once she finished it.

Keirra wasn't scared of Mike, which got him even more excited about the race she revved her car back at him. The red light was on, this was the single to calm down. Mike had almost a second personality once he was racing, the car can get fired up and excited all she wants, the driver must stay calm and collected though, that was Mike's philosophy on racing all hint of excitement and wildness gone from his face. He could feel a single drop of sweat crossing his face as he waited for the green light to finally show, and then he was off with some wheel spin but not too much. The Subaru was was a head of him, everyone expected that now the question was if he could overtake before they reach the finish line.

Mike was very unpopular among the other street racers, he was living a double life and some people though of circuit racing as for "pussies" his gang didn't like the fact he wasn't racing with Chevys and basically everyone had something to say about him. One would think Mike would just stop hanging with them, but in the end Mike was a good racer and his car his sweet camaro that he got from his father and then modified her to make her eat up all his rivals was meant for street racing, and every one knew that.

Despite how competitive she was, Keirra could remain calm under the face of pressure, it was an essential skill necessary for street racing. All too many times she had seen the results of the inability to remain calm under pressure, it often lead to dangerous decisions that put others in danger. The most famous one that she had heard of was a man who had lost a race and who had side-swiped the other racer as they were passing. The results had been fatal for both drivers and had gotten a lot of racers arrested.

Because of the risks involved, Keirra usually tried to profile other racers and tried to keep track of their temperament before she raced them. Even though this was her first professional race with Mike, she had raced him enough before for fun to know that he was pretty level-headed and that he wasn’t likely to do anything dangerous to put either of them at risk. Behind her, Mike’s headlights were lighting up her rearview mirror and the girl was aware that he was gaining on her fast.

They were coming up on the finish line now and just as she thought she had him, he sped past her, the male starting to speed ahead. She had lost and as she finally got to the finish line, she parked her car and approached Mike. “You got me this time. Good job.” She told him softly, smiling. Keirra was never one to get out of hand when losing as she understood that you didn’t always win.

As expected Mike was starting to close in on her, his engine being a monster compared to hers. Shifting from first all the way up to four in a matter of six seconds, as he reached the fifth gear they were already door to door. He looked over to see his own reflection in her tainted windows, then waited for his car to rev up enough to shift into six. He blew passed her, seeing her little Subaru in his mirrors it was over, crossing the finish line Mike finally smiled and celebrated. His crew members all but forgot he was kinda the outcast. Beyond the crowd he noticed Keirra getting out of her car walking towards him, he shoved aside a few people so he can face her. She wasn't a sore loser, she smiled as she admitted her defeat, Mike smiled back "I will get you anytime and anyplace, just name it." He said cockily, the race being over Mike was back to his normal self. The girl handling the money came back to give Mike his money, accepting it with a nodded he broke off the crowd taking a few steps towards Keirra "Hey wanna grab something to drink?" He asked then holding the money up he added "I am paying...with your money but still." Smiling as he waited for a respond.

Keirra_Subaru_Collage.png

While it sucked losing a grand, Keirra knew that she could easily earn it back by the end of the night. In fact she was looking forward to challenging some of the other cars from his gang. The easiest car she had spotted was a Chevy Cruze, a car that she could take hands down. No problem. A few other cars that needed to be knocked down a few notches included a Honda Civic (which would be tough), a Pontiac Sunfire, a Ford Mustang, and of course another Subaru WRX.

She was genuinely surprised as he offered to take her out for a drink, the girl looking around at the crowd who had gathered. What they were currently seeing was not what they had expected to see from the blonde, they had expected a full blown break-down. Instead they saw a smiling girl talking to the male who had just beat her and looking like she didn’t have a care in the world. “I’ll take you up on the offer on our road.” Keirra teased, the statement sounding more intimate than it really was.

However, she debated the offer for a drink, the girl knowing that she couldn’t go home empty handed. She at least needed to replace the money she had lost tonight. “Yeah, if you don’t mind letting me earn my money back. I have a few other races to get done. Shouldn’t take more than half an hour. That okay with you?” Keirra questioned, the blonde tilting her head to the side and looking up at Mike with a grin.

Mike nodding with smile, "Sure, want to ride my car to finish them faster?" He asked teasing her about his victory once again, which he then realized was maybe not the best move to do when asking a girl out... Oh well if she got offended by that she would have thrown a beer bottle at him later tonight for sure. Mike was not an easy person to get along with, his sense of humor has no line that he can cross, in return though he also never blows his fuse as he doesn't have one either. Mike walked back to his crew, even more people admiring his car after the race, waiting patiently for Keirra to come back after she won a few races.

Keirra_Subaru_Collage.png

At his offer to use his car for the race, Keirra gave a playful smirk and looked at his car and then back at hers. “I would but you know, I’m scared that old thing is going to fall apart.” The female retorted playfully before she held out her phone to him so that they could exchange numbers. Once she had his number she got back into her car and went to the starting line to start her first race.

The races blew by, one by one and in no time she found Mike sitting with his crew. Her own crew had long since left and it was just her left behind. She had won four out of five races, having lost to the Mustang by a half second. “You ready to go?” Keirra questioned, hoping that she hadn’t walked up at a bad time.

She wasn’t even sure how his crew would handle him hanging out with a girl from another crew. After all, her own crew would have flipped if they had caught her hanging out with him.

Mike put his hand over his heart and cringed pretending to be hurt by the comment "That hurt..." He said still pretending to be hurt by the comment, until he was unable to stop his chuckle. He pulled out his phone and exchanged numbers, his crew closely by watching him giving him some uneasy looks. As she left he wished her a quick "good luck."

His crew watched the all thing, and if they didn't like him before that much now they hated him. He just hit on a rival crew member, for Mike the crews were just for fun brand wars, but most didn't share his feeling for it. "What the fuck do you think you are doing Mike?" Ron the one who every one regard as the "leader" of the crew lashed out on Mike, "Going to grab some drinks with a cute girl? You should try it one time, who knows you might like it." Mike had no real filter as to what he says and to who, he would teas the president if he ever got the chance. Ron had enough though, if the others didn't held him back Mike would probably have went on his date with a broken bone or two. "Listen I am sorry, but what harem can be done by it?" He asked realizing he crossed the line. It took Ron a few seconds until he calmed down, he didn't have a short fuse and he was able to regain his composer quickly which was why Mike knew he crossed the line when he snapped. "Fine, go on your little date. You barely part of this crew anyway." Mike nodded... it was true, he never really clicked with the crew only reason he was in it was because of his friend and his dad's Chevy.

As Kerria came back after winning some races and losing one, Mike closed his hood shoving some people away from his car. "Aye, lets go. Though first my name is Mike, nice to finally meet the driver of that Subaru." he introduced himself, and then got to his car. "Follow me...if you fall behind I will send you a GPS link don't worry." His crew didn't talk to him after the conflict with Ron, not that Mike minded that too much.

Reaching a bar he parked his car and got out, waiting for Keirra to do the same. He started to wonder what kind of girl she was, he knew she was a racer and a calm yet sassy one but he wondered about her personal life.

Keirra_Subaru_Collage.png

Upon walking up to greet Mike, Keirra was made aware of a tense situation between him and his crew, a situation that had her looking amongst the group of men and then to Mike. Of course, he wasn’t going to let it stop him from going with her and once they decided which bar they were going to, she gave a brief nod. She knew where that bar was, even if it wasn’t the one that she went to. She grinned as he had to shove people away from his car, it was apparent that he was still an object of fame since he’d beaten her. Ah, well. “Keirra. You can call me Kei if you want though.” She greeted, soon walking over to her car.

With his offer to send her the address of the bar if she lost him, the girl flashed him a smirk and gently shook his head. “Oh, Mikey boy. I can assure you, I won’t need any of that.” Keirra promised, getting into her car and turning it on. Once she had her music on, quite specifically choosing
Enemies by Shinedown. She had her window down and was giving Mike her classic grin, obviously having chosen the song so she could taunt him. Now that they were both ready to go she tore out of the parking lot and sped to the bar.

Of course, Mike was never far behind her and Keirra often slowed down so that she could be door to door with him. The blonde was enjoying taunting the male and eventually she let him pull around her and lead her to the bar. Parking her car next to his, she got out and walked over to Mike with a playful grin. “You coming or not?” The blonde teased, leading him into the bar and heading straight to the bar. “I’ll take a Vegas Bomb.” Keirra told the bartender, soon looking over to Mike to see what he would get.

Mike was starting to think he couldn't have a dull moment with Keirra, which he loved he was as hyperactive as one can get it was fun finding some one who seemed to be able to keep up. As he followed her to the bar the bartender gave him a hug, with Mike being a regular he knew Austin well, then as Kei ordered her drink he suddenly remembered an important fact, he had a race tomorrow... In fact he was not really planing to race any one tonight, and refused a few challenges during the night but forgetting all about it once he saw Kei with her Subaru. He couldn't afford to get hung over tomorrow morning, cursing under his breath he just sat there while the barman made Kei her vegas bomb. "Hey Mike you drinking tonight?" Austin asked confused, "Just get me a beer." He said defeated, Austin nodded. Mike often drank a few beers a night before a race, so it shouldn't be a problem. Tomorrow was too important for him, if he reached anything below fifth he would have almost no chance of wining the season. Not even looking at Kei he thought about what she might be thinking right now, "I have a race tomorrow, I can't really get drunk tonight, sorry..." He said almost afraid of how she would respond to that, he asked her out brought her to a bar and he is ordering a beer...

Keirra_Subaru_Collage.png

“I didn’t know you had a boyfriend. Shame on me.” Keirra teased slightly upon seeing the greeting between the bartender and Mike. The girl downed her shot rather quickly, setting it on the bar and then looking over at Mike as he seemed to be in a bit of a bind. Had he lost the prize money or something? Did he need her to pay? Was he scared to drink around her? So many questions popped into the blonde’s head as she tried to figure out the sudden change in heart. Soon enough though he told her what was on his mind and she nodded with a small smile.

Of course she understood his dilemma, being a racer herself. “You don’t have to drink. It’s okay.” Keirra told him, realizing that he probably felt pressured to drink because he had brought her out to a bar. Really she didn’t mind what he did, whether he chose to drink tonight or not. The girl decided that she would follow his lead and try to make him at ease by buying herself a beer as well, though she didn’t care for it. “I’ll take a Redd’s Strawberry Ale.” The street-racer ordered, waiting patiently for her ale.

“You want to play pool or something?” She questioned, smiling at him. She hated sitting still and there weren’t too many options to keep them occupied in the bar, there was karaoke, dancing, or pool. She was going the safest route and choosing to play pool if he chose to play.

Mike chuckled at the Kei's comment about Austin, "What are you jealous?" He teased back, "Me and Austin have something special, you will never understand.". Smiling as Kei didn't seem to mind him not drinking or hiding it well, he chose to believe the former to be true. "Sure lets go" Grabbing the weihenstephan Austin brought for him he got up and walked towards an empty pool table as he started to arrange the balls he asked "So tell me more about yourself, What do you do for a living? And fuck I don't know...where you see yourself in five years?" Mike chuckled he was pretty bad at small talk and he knew that, Mike was not the most sociable person out there most of his time spending doing anything but siting in place and talking to someone. Why he asked Kei out then? Well from what he could tell about her personality she was pretty similar, hell she could barely sit on the bar for more than a ten seconds.

(Sorry for short post, kinda having a writing block right now...)

Keirra_Subaru_Collage.png

At his question, the male obviously teasing her back, Keirra only jutted her bottom lip out and pouted, even sniffling as she pretended that she was upset. “If I would have known you were taken I wouldn’t have bothered! And here I thought we could be something special!” The blonde gasped dramatically, doing her best to look offended though half-way through the act she burst into laughter. It seemed that Austin and Mike were close, especially so as Mike grabbed a pool stick from behind the bar. Most of the other pool sticks were lined up on the walls next to the pool tables.

Once they got over to the pool tables, Keirra grabbed herself a pool stick and grinned at the male. “Prepare to lose! Mwahahah!” She teased, doing her best to do an evil laugh. At his questions, she gave him a small smile and debated on whether or not she wanted to be serious. “Well, I volunteer at the shelter two days a week and I work at PetSmart through the week.” The girl loved animals, she always had. “In five years? I want to have finished building my Toyota Supra and I guess I want to be a professional racer.” It sounded stupid to most people but racing was life with animals being a close second. “How about you? What do you do, other than abuse little innocent Subarus out on the streets?” The girl questioned, looking up at him.

“Who’s breaking?” Keirra questioned, gesturing to the pool table where everything was lined up and ready. As one of her favorite songs came on, she began singing along, dramatically using her pool stick as a microphone. “
You got the gas, I got the matches. We gonna turn this town to ashes, cause they aint never seen nothing like us. Aint heard loud til we turn it up. I got the wild, you got the crazy. You know that’s why I love you baby. Cause your motor runs just as fast as mine, petal to the metal, keep the throttle down all night.” The song was one of her favorites and while she had originally been scared to let loose, the song certainly had her excited.

The blonde was dancing around the pool table as she sang along to the song, the girl grinning at Mike as she finished.

(( I'll see what I can do to help you get out of the block!
:) ))

"Oh come on, can't we have this as a side thing?" Mike joked as Kei tried to pretend to be hurt, though regretting it once he done it as he still wasn't sure if Kei had a line he shouldn't cross, so far she seemed to be cool with anything but who knows.

Mike raised his eyebrows at her evil laugh, "Don't...Don't do that... ever... please." Mike had a fake disgust expression on his face, then he chuckled as he couldn't hold it in. "Oh an animal lover, dogs or cats?" To be honest Mike had no joke to tell about that, he was not an animal fanatic like she seemed to be but he always loved them none the less. Her answer to Mike's second question was what raised his eyebrows for real this time "Toyota Supra? Does your crew knows about that?" He asked worryingly, if they don't and they find out well... she will probably be on worse terms than what Mike is with his crew. Mike laughed as she called her Subaru WRX "innocent", "Please there is nothing innocent about your Subaru, I mean don't get wrong its slow but its not innocent." Mike at first thinking about leaving the trash talk out of it, then changing his mind midway adding some trash talk into the sentence. "As for me? Well same as you pro racer, I am currently running in the Mazda mx 5 cup, though chances of me wining the title this year with only three races to go are kinda slim. All of my money comes from racing be it street or circuit, I am not really doing anything else and I can't even imagine myself doing anything else." Mike had a smile on his face as he talked, he truly believed himself to be lucky for he is able to do what he loves.

Mike was about to give the honor of breaking to Kei but she started to dance and sing and he couldn't help himself but burst in laughter, "Shit I think I need to have a few words with Austin now." Mike teased her with a smile, "Anyway Jason Aldean, ladies first you break." He said as he waited for her opening shot, "Hey what are you doing tomorrow?" He asked curiously, thinking of inviting her to the race tomorrow, who knows maybe she will be his lucky charm, plus she will get to meet the team owner rumor has it his team mate Dean is going to get a contract in F3 for next year, leaving an open driver spot.

(Lol thank you very much, still not 100% with my posts though T_T Hope it gets better.)

Keirra_Subaru_Collage.png

The joke had carried on with Mike suggesting that Keirra be his side chick, a statement that instantly made the girl gasp as if she were horrified at the idea. “There is no way I’ll be a side chick!” The girl protested, though judging by the grin on her face she wasn’t serious at all. “It’s me or him! You have to choose!” Keirra continued, surprised that he’d carried the joke this far. She had expected him to get weirded out and avoid it but instead he was playing along with her. That was a good sign.

Apparently her attempt at an evil laugh hadn’t impressed Mike, in fact he was pretending to be disgusted by the attempts she had made. “Oh, but, I’m aspiring to be an evil person some day. I need to perfect my evil laughter so that I can do it once I beat you in a race.” Keirra replied with a cheeky grin. Usually her times at the bar included her turning down guys, they usually didn’t get past her first question which consisted of:
can you drive a manual? Some did but things often fell apart as soon as she realized that they weren’t her type at all. They were just out looking for a pretty face and a piece of ass.

“I’m more of a dog person. Anything smaller than a Corgi is not considered to be a dog in my book. I call those things radioactive rats.” Keirra mused, smiling brightly at him and tilting her head curiously as he showed genuine concern upon knowing her secret. “They don’t know.” She confirmed, knowing why he had asked. If they found out, she would be on her own and without a crew, not that she minded. She was close to her crew but not close enough to them where if she were kicked out that it would be the end of the world.

They were back to making jokes about her car, the male calling it slow. “My baby isn’t slow! She gets you on the start every single time! You couldn’t keep up with her on my roads no matter how hard you tried!” Keirra challenged, giving him a grin. They were finally focused on the pool game and Keirra rubbed chalk on her hands and then prepared the tip of her pool stick before breaking. She sent a solid number 4 into the one of the side pockets and then missed her next shot. “Looks like you’re stripes.” She mused, smiling at him.

At the question, she tilted her head to the side and tried to think of anything significant that would be taking up any of her time. “I don’t think I’ve got anything going on other than volunteering at the shelter but I’ll only be there from ten to four. I’ll be free afterwards.” Keirra replied, wondering why he was asking.

"But me and Austin have so much history, I can't just end it..." Miked said with a sad tone, he then laughed as he glanced over at Austin who was oblivious to any of it. Mike was glad this was not her line, so far so good no matter what kind of joke or tease he ran it came back positive that was a first, he started to like Keirra more and more.

"You will have the best evil laugh ever if you will wait that long, it will be a shame to waste your evil laughing potential like that." Mike never had a trash talk keep going for so long, they have been talking for a while now and they keep teasing each other over and over again, its been a while since Mike actually enjoyed talking to someone. Most of it was about their cars, but that was fine by both of them it seemed as for both racing was almost everything.

Mike gasped as she called everything smaller than a corgi a radioactive rat, "Don't you dare call Austin's chiwawa a radioactive rat!" Mike said with an over dramatic tone like he was a soap opera actor and she admitted to cheating on him. Austin did actually have a chiwawa which made it all the more funnier for Mike as he shook his head with laughter. Though the conversion became more serious now when they talked about her Toyota, she trusted him enough to tell him about it which he wasn't sure how to feel about, from one point he was glad she trusted him on another point she was stupid for doing so. Yea they have hit it off pretty well, but it was not really enough time to judge someone's character, he thought. "Damn you are stupid, what the fuck are you doing telling that to some one you just met. If I wasn't this awesome and cool I might have went a head and told your crew about it." Trying to both give her some advice about the future and lighten the mood a bit at the same time, Mike wasn't sure if he was successful at either of those tasks.

"Pff, please you are faster of the jump but you always fall behind, last time I checked the winner is who crosses the finish line first not the start line. Though true your little Subaru is better at the turns, which leads me to my next question. Would you like to come with me to the race tomorrow? Its in the new track on the outskirts of the city, you probably won't get to race but I can almost guarantee you will be able to do some laps on the track almost plus you will get to experience real pro racing." Mike said and waited for her respond while he went to put chalk on his hand and on his pool stick, bending over the table to reach the cue ball he smacked it after a few seconds of aiming, the cue ball missing everything not hitting a single ball in its path. Mike cringed and commented "Hey I never said I was good at pool."

Now that Mike was a part of their conversation, Keirra found herself looking over at the oblivious bartender, halfway expecting to find him angry. Instead he wasn’t even paying attention, the male being too engrossed in his job as he bounced around behind the bar from customer to customer. “If you guys had so much history, why’d you bring me along?” The blonde questioned, flashing him a smile that was challenging him. She was waiting to see how long it would take for this inside joke to become awkward and how long it would take for him to give in and admit defeat. After all, if this kept up, Mike would look like the cheater of the year and in a crowded bar, that wasn’t the best name to have.

As he told her that she would practically be waiting an eternity to win a race against him. “I seem to remember seeing your car behind mine on the open road.” Of course, usually they raced on a curvy road on the outskirts of Los Angeles, so of course Keirra and her Subaru had the advantage. “You can race me on my terms at any given time and I’ll make you eat your words, and I’ll even do the evil laughter perfectly just to rub it in that your Camaro got trashed by a Subaru.” Keirra piped up happily, smiling brightly at Mike. She was sure that if she picked the spot where they raced that she could easily win, she had been at a disadvantage at the actual race.

“All dogs smaller than a Corgi are radioactive rats, it just can’t be helped. Plus, Chihuahuas just look so weird! Their eyes practically bulge out of their heads! How can you call that tiny thing a dog?!” Keirra exclaimed in shock, looking up at Mike and then to Austin with a grin. When he got onto her about her telling him so much information she found herself narrowing her eyes at him. “My crew wouldn’t believe you if you were to snitch on me. Plus, it’s not like I’m planning to stay with them anyways. If they throw me out of the crew then so be it.” Keirra told him, glaring at him. Now he had struck a nerve, after all, she hated to be yelled at.

Mike was still trying to joke around with her, the male teasing her before leading into a more serious question. He wanted her to go to the races with him and she found herself contemplating it. “Yeah, I guess I could. What time?” The girl questioned, being surprised that he would want her to go. She watched him take his shot, the male missing completely. “Oh! You do it like this.” Keirra instructed, showing him the proper angle and then taking her shot. She took another swing of her ale before lining up for another shot. She made this ball in the hole but scratched on the shot after that.
