Abandoned and forgotten by all, the prophet stirs.
When Camp Half-Blood’s Oracle is found dead with no apparent cause, suspicions arise. Certain demigods of each cabin are inflicted with an ailment: They’re bedridden, and the most perplexing part is that they’re blind.
The culprit? Tiresias, a prophet of Apollo and a favorite of Athena who has been embittered by the lack of worship and knowledge about his existence. Just as he suffers the plight of being blind, the demigods he curses shares the same fate.
There is nothing left to do but to journey into his homeland, Thebes, and seek him out. The gods are no help, they have fallen silent to see how the demigod measure up against eons of pure hatred built up in one prophecy.
A select team of demigods are selected, each chosen for a specific trait. They’ll have to sail to Thebes and defeat Tiresias to restore their friends and family to normal.
But everything is different in the realm of the prophet. Choices are questioned, loyalties doubted, and tensions mount to an all time high.
