    {History} ~ Reece grew up in Sandy Springs, Georgia, less than a half hour away from Atlanta. While she was close enough to the city to be up to date in fashion, that's not how she spent her younger years. She was more than content to be rolling in hay fields, riding horses, muddin' with her cousins and playing guitar and singing by the campfire with her dad. Before her sister came along, she was daddy's little princess but she was happy to give that title to her younger sister and opt out of the pink and girly clothes that her mother associated with the title.


    Her school years were simple, during the time that most kids distanced themselves from their parents, she grew closer to her mother. She managed to balance country life, school and the fashion lessons her mother offered with each trip to Atlanta. Due to this, she ended up applying and getting accepted to her mother's alma mater, GSU, for early childhood education. Just before she graduated from highschool, her grandfather on her mom's side, Papa John, died of a heartattack. Papa John was her person, they talked about everything and he called her a hammera** whenever she needed to have her head set straight. Losing him made her world shatter, however thanks to the time they'd had together, she knew just how to glue it all back in place.

She easily makes friends and has barely any enemies back home because she rarely has a bad thing to say about anyone. Not to mention, her positive vibe brings out the best in people. Her pit, on the other hand, happens to be made of fire and spikes. One poorly worded and sassy toned sentence will land you with a face full of this lioness's claws. She isn't afraid of physical or verbal fighting, however, like Marie in The Aristocats, she lives by the motto "Ladies don't start fights, but they can finish them."

{History} Born into a stereotypical rich christian family, Denali's future was already set in stone for her the moment she popped out of her mother's body. Denali was the first born daughter and therefore all the pressure was on her especially after her siblings were born. She was the shinning star in her parent's eyes. The little bear in their weird family. Her brother was too alternative and rebellious and her sister was to awkward and shy. It was up her to fulfill her parents' dream of having a doctor in the house.


Denali attended the best private schools and would spend hours studying in order to get that perfect GPA. From the outside Denali's life was perfect. The perfect family. The perfect grades and now even the perfect boy friend. But Denali was not happy with the life she was living. Sure she had it all and she was grateful for it. Although, the life she was living was her parents' life not hers. She wanted to be a sculptor or even an artist. She wanted to change people through her artwork not behind a surgical mask.


However, Denali never spoke up. She lived under the title of perfect daughter. She attended Yale Universitnd graduated early with highest honors with a bachelor in Bio Medical Sciences. Now, she's lined up to attend Medical School at Harvard University. Although she was a college sorority girl, Denali never got to experience the college life full on. Since her gold had always been to please her parents, Denali would spend all her weekends and breaks studying to get into the Harvard Medical program.


During college Denali started to question her sexual orientation when she started to feel something for her study partner Megara, but afraid of what her parents might think she force down the feelings and accepted to go out with William, the son of an old family friend. If her conservative christian parents were to ever find out about her fling with Megara, Denali would sure be sent to a convent.


Although, Denali has a plan of her own now. Before attending Harvard, she wants to experience what it would be like to live in an imperfect world. She wants to go out, have some fun, and just be herself. While her parents think she is out of the country doing some medical research study in Africa, Denali is actually on her way to New Orleans to live in a house filled with eight strangers. She's going to get a first hand experience of this Real World.

{History} ~ Hayden grew up most of his life in Albany, New York with his 'poor excuse' of a mother in a cruddy apartment. Denny's mother, Ruby, was a severe drug addict who didn't care about taking care of her children. Ruby took drugs whether her children were in the room or not; she didn't care. Hayden and his older brother, Adrien, watched their mother take many different pills over the years and take them with many different men. His mother was in such an unstable state back then that her children suffered from the woman's outburst's. Hayden ran away at the age of 15 which resulted in him skipping school and partying way too much but it didn't take long for the school to notice and after three weeks he was sent back home and made to go to school again.


Nearing the age of 17, Hayden had met an older boy who showed him the world his mother had been living in for most of his childhood and hayden actually enjoyed it. He dated the guy for about two years which they spent most of their time either doing drugs, partying, or sleeping. For that period of his lifetime, as much as he hates to admit it, Hayden was like his mother. It was definitely a dark period in his life and he wishes never to go back there; all the drugs, waking up in different places, and not being able to hold down a job. The thing that pushed him to get help for his drug addiction was when he was 19 and he OD'd at a gay bar but was left by his friends and founded by a stranger instead who called an ambulance.


Two weeks after he OD'd, he entered himself in rehab where he met an alcohol junkie named Tyler. After getting to know each other and countless of get-togethers, the two started dating. They both helped each other through rehab; Hayden staying for 5 months while Tyler went through seven months. Of course there were slip-ups and mistakes made with each of their addictions but they made it through by helping each other. Hayden still went through school and even pursued online college. He got a job as a video game programmer and hopes to be a video game designer one day.


Hayden has been clean for a whole year and his drinking has been on the low side for the past couple of months. He has been in a serious relationship with Tyler for two years but their in a open-relationship recently since Tyler confessed about cheating with a girl he met at a bar.


{Personality} ~ Hayden is a very mellow, down-to-earth guy. He enjoys the simple pleasures that life has to offer, such as a home-cooked meal or perfect weather. It takes a lot to rile him up and pull him from his relaxed mentality which drinking will definitely pull him out of or when he's judged because of his past. Some people think that he is detached from the world, but he thinks the opposite. He cares deeply for his close friends and family and would sacrifice himself for the people he loves any day. He is somewhat of a pushover, not knowing when to give someone the boot from his life. Hayden loves to cook and has a light-hearted sense of humor. Romantically, Hayden tends to pick up the scrap. Guys that aren't worth it but thankfully this has turned around for the better recently in his life.

{History}~ Growing up in a standard Greek family, Acacia was always surrounded by her family. They were always


 a very tight knit family; no secrets. Until she turned 16 she lived in a lala land where she thought her family was


perfect and there where no secrets to keep. But that veil in front of her eye's was quickly ripped away when one


 day her brother never came home. She was curious of the situation going on, constantly begging her parents for


information. Her brother was her idol, she looked up to him for everything. Having him not there was tearing her


 apart, and not knowing why surely wasn't helping. After a week of badgering her parents finally cracked. He was in


 rehab for an addiction to pain meds. At first she mad at her brother for letting her down and not telling her. But after


 it sunk in, she knew that she had to be there for him and support him through whatever.


 It took him 2 years to get completely sober. In that time Acacia missed her teen years, she never partied or even


went to any dances. She forced herself to grow up so she could be there for her brother. As soon as he got better


her maturity dropped off he face of the earth. She went off to college and spent her parents money going to parties


 and living the teen years she missed out on.

{History} ~ Alexander was born on May 9th, 1992 in Saint John's Health Center to his biological parents whom he has, till this day, no idea the names of. After he was born, he was immediately put in foster care where he lived for 14 years, with his older brother, Ethan, who at the time was 17. Alexander thought he would never get out of foster care until one day, the woman who ran the foster care facility and who he also considered a mother, Anne Bradley, told him that a man was there to adopt him and Ethan together. Hearing that, Alexander was excited but a part of him didn't want to part from Anne. She was the only woman who was consistent in Alexander's life. Upon leaving, Alexander promised her that when he was older, he would be back to visit her. When he first met his adopted parent, Eli Chase, Alexander didn't know what to think. He seemed to be a nice guy and Alexander liked that, he just wanted to be in a "perfect family" and his idea of a "perfect family" was him, his brother, a dad, and a mom. Only one of those things were missing and it happened to be the most important thing to him. Growing up, not having his mother around and seeing his father be with different women, Alexander didn't know how to treat women correctly. When Ethan went off to college, he felt alone in a world that he wasn't alone. He had multiple friends, girlfriends, and new family that surrounded him; however, he still felt alone. That was until he met Lux, his current girlfriend, in his senior year of high school. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life and he just knew he had to "add her" to his list of girls. He would consider her his biggest achievement. Approaching her as he normally approached girls, Lux was uninterested. She knew all about Alexander and she also knew that in the end, she would get hurt.After months of trying to gain her trust, Alexander gave up and decided that they should just be friends especially with them going off to college; however, during the summer, he and Lux got extremely close and soon, they were boyfriend and girlfriend. When they went off to different colleges, they tried the long distance thing but of course, it didn't work. Within four months of them being in college, they broke up due to Alexander's lack of commitment and Lux's lack of trust. Now, four years later, Alexander went back to his home town and there was Lux, also returning from college. Feelings came back and once again, they were together. When Alexander learned about the Real World auditions, he just knew he HAD to be apart of the show. A few months after he signed up, he got a call back saying that he was picked to be apart of it. Extremely happy, Alexander packed up his bags and headed off to New Orleans. Although Lux was unsure if she should continue the relationship with him, she decided to give it a second try. She knew that if he embarrassed her on local television, that would be it. She wouldn't want to see his face ever again. "If you love me," she told him, before he left, "you would do right by me." Alexander agreed but in the back of his mind, he knew he would mess up.


{Personality} ~ Alexander is a nice guy or at least he tries to be. He doesn't really like to be manipulative or selfish but it just usually happens that way as if he can't help himself. He's very gregarious, charming, and impulsive. If he sets his sights on something or someone, he'll do any and everything to get them.

{History} ~ Karma was born in Dallas, Texas as Miranda Lopez on April 1st, 1993. It wasn't until later on in her life that she changed her name--but, we'll get to that. Her parents, Bernardo and Maya, worked as a doctor and a homemaker respectively, and both believed in keeping their four daughters on very short leashes. First there was Janel, the oldest and most practical of the girls. There was Camila, who was the youngest and full of life. Finally, there was Adrianna, who was Karma's twin sister and seemed to outshine the rest of her siblings with her beautiful singing voice. And then there was Karma, or Miranda as she was known as back then.


From a young age, Karma knew that she wanted more for herself than what her hometown had to offer. As much as she loved her family, she found her parents' conservative ways to be overbearing and tiring. She felt as if she couldn't be herself in her own home, so much that she actually enjoyed going to class. As she came into her own, it became clear that school Miranda and home Miranda were basically two different people. During her freshman year of high school, she fell in love for the first time. No, not with a boy or a girl, but with something else entirely: painting. It turned out that her required ninth-grade Foundations of Art class opened up a whole new world that she hadn't even thought of before.


She'd use painting as a way to cope with her stress at home. Miranda would haul up in her bedroom for hours at the time, and with each brushstroke she'd slowly chip away at her problems. Sometimes art was too good of a distraction, however, and she'd neglect her studies, causing her parents to ban her from painting until her grades went back up. By the end of high school, she had racked up a tally of four significant others, sixteen report cards, and over 270 completed paintings. For somebody not too good with numbers, Miranda made out like a bandit.


Her father used his connections to get Miranda into SMU, his alma-mater. Her oldest sister had just graduated, and with Adrianna heading off to L.A. to jumpstart her singing career, Bernardo was insistent on somebody keeping his legacy alive. However, Miranda had her eye on RISD, and when she was accepted to the art school of her dreams she was elated--that is, until her parents found out that she had applied there behind their backs. They told Miranda that if she didn't go to SMU, they'd pull her college fund and she'd have to pay for school by herself. Heartbroken, she did what any disappointed high school gradation would do.


She ran away from home and changed her name, of course. Too broke to even consider RISD, she made the trip to California to see if she could stay with Adrianna. Her twin reluctantly agreed, on the grounds that Karma was able to pay half of the rent. She got a job at a clothing boutique and was able to make some money off of her paintings on the side. The two of them have been living together for almost three years, but Adrianna just got the opportunity to go on a national tour, so isn't it a stroke of luck that Karma got picked to go on The Real World? She hopes so, anyway.


{Personality} ~ Karma is generally a very optimistic young woman. She tries to see the best in everybody, but sometimes fails to see it in herself. She is obsessed with the idea of making something beautiful out of nothing, which is probably why she's such a good artist. Karma has a tendency to be kind of forgetful. She's not the most reliable person in the world, and can be downright flighty at times. Still, she'll come through for you with a couple of little pushes, and is extremely loyal to those whom she cares about. Sometimes she'll get herself into trouble because she doesn't have a tendency to think before she acts, but her charming nature usually helps her out of compromising situations. When it comes to love, Karma tends to be too much for most people to handle. She is a very passionate girl, and because of this she tends to scare the average person off.

{History} Mason was born on March 15th, 1990 to his parents, Karla and Bradly Kirilla, in Dickson, North Dakota. When he was born, his three eldest brothers were already obviously there. Johnathan, 8, Nicholas, 6, and Lucas, 4. Following Mason, four more children were born into the household. When Mason was 2, his younger brothers, Peter and Parker were born. Then, another 2 years later, his last brother, Gregory was born. Finally, his younger sister, Tara, was born by the time Mason was 8 years old. After his mother had reached her girl of having a baby girl, she stopped having children which was more of a relief on their father than anything.


Mason's father was an incredibly hardworking man for many years. Supporting all eight children along with himself and his wife was a hard thing to do. Over the years, it grew too difficult for him to handle. When Mason was 12, his father quite working and became an alcoholic. This didn't seem like much of a problem at first since Mason's three older brothers began working but it eventually proved to be a very different story.


His father continued to drink constantly for about a year, rarely ever being sober and missing a lot in her children's lives. Mason's mother ended up divorcing his father and moving out with the children to a separate home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Over the next 6 years, Mason went through high school and graduated in '08. He then attended college and earned a degree in chemical engineering. When Mason was 22, two very important events happened that changed Mason's life almost full circle. His eldest brother, Johnathan, was killed in battle while serving in the military. Being that Mason and Johnathan were so close, it nearly broke his heart and it tore his family entirely to bits. The second major change, clearly an effect of Johnathan's death, was Mason's father sobered up for good and moved back in with them in Arizona.


Unsure of how to deal with any of the recent events in his life, Mason said a temporary goodbye to his family and headed down to New Orleans to start his own life with hopes of expanding his interests in sports and staying fit. It has now been two years since he moved out. His father and mother got remarried, his two older brothers are both married with children, and his sister is now a sophomore in high school and his carrying her first child. Mason carries a lot of weight on his shoulders everyday and keeps mostly in contact with Tara, trying to somehow protect her from such a distance and ease her pain. He plans on having her come live with him after she graduates high school in order to help support her because their parents are no longer able nor willing.


{Personality} Mason is a sweet, passionate guy who can also be very cocky and sarcastic but more so in a joking manner. He cares a lot about other people but also equally about himself. Mason's main concerns in life include: staying fit, eating healthy, taking care of his sister, and living life to the fullest. His favorite past times include anything involving sports or working out. Mason's cocky side tends to come out more when he's in his flirtatious mood and he uses it as a joke. His sarcasm is more prevalent when he's in a bad mood or, again, just being flirty. Mason is an all around sweet guy despite how much he may seem not to be. Many people assume that simply because he his a big 'macho-man' that he doesn't care about anyone but himself but if you take the time to get to know him; he's not like that at all.
