Ever seen the show The Librarians (or the movie the show is based off of)? Yeah? No?
Good. This Roleplay is going to function a little like that. We, as the preventers of dark magic, have a home base where we all live and spend our time. This roleplay will work a little like similar to this.
@TheGrimPickler or I will make a plot based on an ancient mythical artifact, (what it does, why it's here, how we get it, all that jazz). Also, feel free to give us ideas, and help us make these plots up. I'm estimating each mission should no longer than a month. Once we get it and bring it back safe and sound, we can have a few actual days of rping. Afterwards We'll start up another plot for an artifact as if we read a newspaper clipping. More details on how that works once the ideas become more solid. This will go on for as long as everyone keeps replying. Fair warning: This roleplay is a little demanding schedule wise. If you are missing for one to two weeks without an explanation we will find a way to kill you off and have someone else make a character and come in. If you come back before that happens, you can rejoin. Obviously, if you tell any of us that you're gonna be out for x amount of time, that's fine. Anyone interested?

Basically it's a small group of completely normal humans who happen to be retrieving ancient artifacts from throughout time and history. Mythical or not. King Arthur's crown, Santa, you name it. They do this to protect the world from evil magic. There's a little newspaper clipping-type thing that lets them know when something odd is going on. All of these normal humans are extraordinary in some way, maybe they're good at math. Or really smart at History, or an excellent thief. Okay, you know of it now. Click that you have seen it.
