There are people who are bad society have to lock up for their own protection. Than there are the psychotic, sociopathic monsters that no prison can hold. For those people there is Taturas located on the edge.
Created in a long ago era Taturas was was made to hold the worst of the worst. Those that were sent rarely got free. Those that escaped would be lost in the void between realms doomed to wander the abyss with no way to return to their universe.
The guards posted there are some of the best in their respected verse.

The multiverse
The Multiverse is not infinite. There are exactly one hundred universes. While some may be similar in appearance and histories to others they are vastly different. So much so that it is rare for there to be multiple copies of people.
