The Princess and The Sol

Sol looked at her sadly. "No one has told you? When you get the kavah, you don't pick it. It's the crest of the person you marry to. It's a sign of trading sides, and joining kingdoms." He said and turned a corner to go to the underground part of the castle

Luna frowns. "So...If I have to marry that dog..I'll have to get a wolf?" She said, her voice dropping as she thought about that. She wan't against that, but she still didn't want to marry Victor.

Sol nodded and walking into a bright lit room. It smelled sterile, and clean. There was a chair. And a table. On a small trollie was packaged needles and black, white, grey and red ink. Sol moved closer and removedo his shirt. He sat on the table and smirked. "She's late"

Luna raised an eyebrow. "And you're giddy about this?" She questioned, inwardly wondering what symbol she'd have to get if she married Sol. Would there be one? Do the same rules still apply?

Sol rubbed his chest. "Of course. I love ink. I have one for you and I ya know." His cheeks were slightly blushed and he smiled sheepishly.

He laughed softly and upturned his wrist. There is was. A small white moon, blocking out a burning yellow sun. Sol smiled. "Remember when you said you'd grow so big you'd eclipse me?" He looked up at her "and you use to call me Solar? It's a Luna eclipse of the sun " he chuckled at the cleverness

Luna looks down at the simple design and giggles. "You remembered that?" She asked as she reached out and grabbed his wrist, gently running her thumb over it. She liked how simplistic it was, and defiantly how it was about the two of them and their bond.

Sol beamed a grin at her and looked up as the door opened. A woman with flaming red pixie hair sauntered in. She had ink running all over her face, neck, exposed arms and shoulders. She wore a white blouse and mans trousers, and her piercing silver eyes burned into Luna's blue ones. Sol greeted the woman by name, "Flora! I have come to be tortured by your needles once again, my dearest sister." He smirked at her as Flora rolled her eyes and slapped him across the chest with the back of her hand.

Flora: "Can you not act normal? I swear by the king that you are the worst little brother in this kingdom!" Flora nodded to Luna, forgetting all formality while in her own shop. "You are getting the Codex, correct? In old Vampryn?" She asked and sat on a stool, lighting a pipe and taking a puff from it.

"Aye, sis." Sol smirked and wiggled a brow at Luna. "Luna, you remember Flora? Or maybe you have blocked her from your minds eye, to refrain from some poor manners to rub off on you." He snickered and dodged a hit to the head. He roared with laughter.

Luna laughs at the two of them. "Of course I remember her. How could I not? She's wonderful." Luna exclaimed and looked over at Flora, her eyes wandering the girl as she become jealous of all the ink. "Wow.." She mumbled in awe. "I wish I could have all of that.." She said softly, still looking over all the visible ink on Flora's body.

Sol looked at Luna softly. "The only reason Flora can have as many, is because she isn't royal, help or in the guards. She is simply and merchant." he laid on his side and relaxed as Flora grabbed the needle and the ink. She placed the guards codex in front of sol, and began to stab Sol with the inked needle. After about 6-8 hours, flora finished the ink and moved back, plopping in her chair and placing the pipe in her mouth.

"There you go brother. All finished. I will garnish it out of your next pay and we should be square." She said with a smile and looked at Luna sadly. "Would you like a hidden mark, milady?"

"flora..." Sol warned as he sat up. "What if you get caught? You will be banished." Flora just rolled her eyes and looked at the princess for an answer.

As Luna had watched the whole process, she became completely fascinated by how it was done an how something like that could stay forever in a person's body. After the while thing was done, Luna looked at it in awe. She loved the design of it, even if it was the Codex, it just looked so beautiful. When Flora asked Luna if she'd like one, Luna's face lit up. "Please? I already know what I want!" She said, her face looking like she'd had dreams come true. Luna wanted one very bad, and after seeing how it was done, she was completely prepared to pay whatever it took to get one.

Sol sighed deeply and moved off the table and looked down at the princess. "Hidden Luna. It must not be seen every day. Choose wisely." He warned and went to look at the ink, smiling the whole time.

"Tell me what you want, darlin. I will make it the best I can." Flora stated as she took out a new needle and examined it.

Luna pointed to the area of her chest over her heart. "A mandala sun. Right there." She said, a huge smile on her face, as she looked like a kid in a candy shop. "No one should see that, but if it can't go there then on my ribs." She said, not caring how painful either spot was.

Sol looked at her and nodded. "Go ahead with the chest. She will be fine." He mumbled.

"Alright. Sit down half pint, and lose the top." Flora said and shooed Sol out. When he was away, Flora looked at Luna. "Why the sun? Same reason for Sol's?" She asked, not caring if what she said offended the royals.

Luna nods and she undoes the top part of her dress so that Flora can ink her as she lays down on the bench. "It's meant to symbolize him. If I was to ever lose him, or us be separated again..I'd like to have something to commemorate him." She said happily as she waited for Flora to begin.

Flora nodded and got to work. The pressure of the needle breaking skin over and over was painful, but dulled after about 10 minutes. The ink set to her flesh a lot easier then most, which made it go by faster with less times to repeat a line

At first Luna flinched and winced but after a while got used to it and kind of enjoyed the feeling though she wish Sol could be in there to hold her hand.

Sol was looking at the sketched on the wall, admiring his sisters work, smiling softly at them, until he came to a wolf head surrounded by thorns. This one must be for Luna if she marries the dogs master.... He moved on, his mood darker than before

After Flora was done inking her, Luna looked down, excitement and joy filling her even more as she slipped up her dress so that only her chest and the tattoo were showing. "Sol!" She called to him, her voice clearly showing how happy she was to show him what she got, as well as over what she got.

Sol turned and hurried over to look. "Very lovely, Luna" He smiled as Flora left to her chamber to rest. "Two is her limit for now, since mine was so long. We should go join everyone for dinner." He said with a smile.

Luna shakes her head. "No. We should have dinner alone and away from everyone. I don't want to deal with that again." She said as she pulled up her dress and adjusted it.

Sol zipped up her dress and looked down at her. "We are expected Luna. Your father said." He shook his head and bopped her nose. "Come now runaway princess. I do not want to die after getting a good ink done" He smirked

Luna frowns. "Fine. But yo have to sleep with me again." She said firmly. "Now and forever until I release you." She said with a small smirk. "You're now my pillow." She said with a chuckle.

Sol blushed a deep red and nodded once. "Y-yes Luna..." How does she not understand what she does to me?! He turned and walked out of the room, his hands in his pockets, his sword bouncing against his leg. He put his shirt back on and looked at her.
