The Princess and The Scribe

BeyondOblivion

Two Thousand Club
Every princess has a scribe. Whether they are seen or not, the scribe follows them and records everything that they do. They continually make notes about everything they say, do, and think.

One princess, your character, has fallen in love with her female scribe. I am that female scribe. (Yes, this is a gay pairing). The romance between them is normally taboo. Yet the princess loves her scribe, and as such, she wants to be with her.

Anyone interested in being the princess?

Okay, then I could start it. ^^ Just tell me if it's a little too long, and I'll make my replies shorter.

Princess Mariana Crossyen Demihart Tamitaritan—that was her name. She never understood why she needed so many names, as it seemed ridiculous to her. In fact, lots of common things seemed ridiculous to her. Why she needed to wear fancy dresses, why even her pajamas were made from such expensive fabrics, why she had to be so prim and proper constantly. She was especially confused by one thing in particular, though—why she had to remain quiet in her love for her scribe, why it was taboo to love someone of the same gender. It baffled her to absolutely no end.

As Mariana headed upstairs to her room, desiring to spend some time alone, she found several profanities slipping past her lips. It wasn't proper at all, swearing wasn't, but she had temporarily forgotten how to care.

The princess, who always seemed melancholy nowadays, grabbed a book from her bookshelf and sat upon the chair sitting in one of the corners. She slipped off her shoes, as her feet were aching quite badly. She ran her fingers through her long platinum blond hair, removing all the the accessories that she had to decorate it with. Her head fell back her she allowed her ice blue eyes to close. She hadn't even planned to read at all, she realized. She didn't
want to read. She wanted to announce she had chosen someone to wed, to announce that she would never love a man the same way she currently loved a woman. One word left her mouth, subconsciously, and even once she had spoken it, she didn't realize it was anything more than a thought.

"Why?"

Do you konw how to make a thread? And yes, I like one paragraph replies, it makes it more convient for me. But I'll go longer if I have to.
