As we evolve from being landlocked into our home planet, Earth, and expand our territory into our whole solar system and more, our presence became known among the galaxy's alien sovereigns. From the autocratic Martian Technocracy Kingdom to the neutral Jekkadian Dummvirate, the Solus Federation tries its best to maintain a positive outlook on life and make peace to all.
But not everyone shares that mindset, no... some people might be quite pessimistic about their current situation... some people tend to do bad things for their own gain... something that those people do with their friends. Such as the case as a band of pirates known as...
The Fists of Fury.
In The Precursors, you are part of a ragtag group of mercenaries, led by a demonic-looking pirate named Samuel, as they traverse around the cosmos, messing around with the governments of the galaxy, all in the name of selling sweet loot and making bank for themselves. However, a chance encounter with an abandoned BrumelCorp facility ended with them accidentally creating an interdimensional rift that allowed a cybernetic race of overlords to enter in and prepare for total conquest of the universe. Now, the pirates, along with an amnesiac cybernetic individual that they rescued on the way, must find a way to shut down the overlords' conquest and send them back to whence they came.
This roleplay won't just let you make characters that are sided with Samuel. You can also have characters that are in different factions of this world! Maybe you can have a character that is a soldier of the Solus Federation's space fleet led by the ruthless and daring Susan Spearson? Maybe you can have a character who is a board director of the powerful BrumelCorp corporation commandeered by its CEO, Henry Rockwell? Or maybe you can create an entirely new alien faction of your own, with their own abilities and governments? Any of those ideas are heavily encouraged here in The Precursors; this is a sandbox world where you can let your creative mind run wild while having your characters dealing with a single, powerful, and malevolent faction: the interdimensional overlords themselves.

- Explicit cursing is permitted.
- Platonic or loving romance between characters are allowed, so long as the respective roleplayers consent to it and it doesn't escalate to anything sexual.
- Gore and violence are permitted but refrain from making it overtly detailed or vomit-inducing disgusting.
- Character and/or species submissions need to be evaluated by the owner (

) before being used. This is to prevent any Gary/Mary Sue characters from ruining the run.
