+Please perform the Emulated Reality to the most acute accuracy. Failure to act or comply will be marked as inadequate.+
*You cover your face with some state of the art Virtual Reality headset. The void in front of you soon beeps and abruptly pits you into a real environment that seemed like you teleported there. You can smell, taste, touch, feel, hear, and see everything so vividly. One would say it's real.... hehe*

9 - The blaring noise of an enraged crowd surrounds you as the heat from a humid environment dampens on your skin. The sky is colored a dark vermillion, and the ground below is coated with red rock with thing streams of lava embedded in the crevices. You stand atop a hill as a woman on her knees cries in anger from the heated torture of her legs. The lava was just thin enough not to pose a lethal threat to her, yet burned her badly all the same. She is tied up as the crowd entices you to kill her and end the tyranny once and for all. A gun lies in your hand with one bullet. Just one. The feel of its weight and iron grip warm in your hands. She was charged with assassinating your communities leader, no one knew exactly how, but she was caught red handed over his dead body. It was enough to go on. She was guilty. She stares at you in rage, however her eyes reddened and exhausted from crying. The now interim leader of the community rages the crowd on, encouraging you to kill her. He speaks "SHE MUST BE PUNISHED FOR HER CRIMES!!! YOU KNOW THE LAW HERE! KILL HER OR BE KILLED FOR TREASON! YOU FAILING TO KILL THE MONSTER WHO MURDERED OUR GREAT LEADER WILL BE SEEN AS BETRAYAL IN THE HIGHEST ORDER! SHE SINGLE-HANDEDLY SLIPPED THE POISON INTO HIS TEA. SHE MUST PAY!!!" The crowd rages on as the culprit looks at you with tired eyes. She finally speaks. "There's no point, you're a coward. All of you. You don't see the truth." The time has come, now or never, life or death. You grip the gun, and...

10 - After you've finished your previous emulation, you now sit in the middle of a tomb like setting. The room is rather dimmed save for the spot right where you are. The stone beneath you shines from the narrow sunlight above, just enough to display a message carved into the stone beneath your feet. 'You are going to die. You get to decide the fate of your death. Choose. Now.' Immediately after you read the message, an hourglass begins to countdown. It's tethered to the four walls entrapping you, each wall made up of glass allowing you to see through to the other side. North Wall is an endless sky, nothing but clouds can be seen below, meaning a very high altitude. You could drop to your death, crushing every cell and bone you have, but at least you'll fly gracefully before doing so. The West Wall contains endless sea, so deep that the water is navy blue-black in color. The surface is impossible to see, and if the water pressure doesn't kill you, drowning will. Beats being crushed or burned, but it's a slower, more harkening death. The South Wall is endless sand, with sentient vines sprouting and moving about, accompanied by a horde of cheetah that never take their eyes off of you. Not once. Trying to outrun cheetah in the desert while being pulled down by vines? There probably won't be anything left, but at least you can say you tried to escape instead of accept your fate. The East Wall is endless inferno, even as you look through the glass the fog and char from the heat started to seep through. To be burned alive, no trace of who you were, but maybe there is a purpose in the flames to go quick and easy with just a few seconds of intense pain. The hourglass is connected to the four fuses linked to the glass walls, and for some reason you knew that ANY attempt to tamper with them would result in an electrocution with enough power to kill the Eastern Seaboard. Instant cooking death. In your hand lies a compass, with buttons on each cardinal direction for you to choose which means of fate you wish to go. Which element you are akin to. There is however a button in the middle of the compass that allows you to speak for some reason. The message below your feet has suddenly changed. As time runs out, the message now says 'Remember'. You take your compass and....

*After the emulated reality portion, the headset is shut off as you are revealed to be in an all white room with no one around. All of your belongings you had with you are right beside you.*

Background: (Character bio & History)
Camille was born in 2000 to a rather reclusive single mother, Amara. Her father died a few months before she was born while serving in the military. Amara Hampton was an Italian-American who had fought tooth and nail to make a living for her daughter. Thus, she raised Cam in seclusion in the hills of New England, where Cam began to show her potential early. Upon her cries, things would often shake and rumble, upon her happiness, a wind would come from nowhere. Amara had no idea what was happening, believing that the house was haunted. Amara would then move away to Missouri where she'd start a new life with her daughter. Cam grew up extremely more intelligent than any kid her age should ever be, and even just "feeling" things about herself she had no prior knowledge of that ended up being true. Amara raised Cam as mother, father, and even best friend. She was given a grand life of luxury and spoils given her isolated home and single mother's wages. Amara did all she could for Camille, but also gave Cam tough love and discipline when needed. Cam responded with repsect, appreciation and love for her mother in the end, knowing that it was hard to be two parents as one person. She was grateful. And then upon her reaching puberty things started to spiral out of control. She would begin to feel her blood become hot, as well as have episodes of being spaced out, only to come back with information she didn't previously know, she felt in her intuition that something was off about her, that she was supposed to be somewhere else. Her friends at school liked her because of her popularity of playing soccer and running track, but no one would connect with her intellectually, even her teachers thought her weird. She was an outcast at heart. Until she got the letter. The only invitation that would ever matter in her life. The Invectus Institute.

When she arrived at Double I, as a Freshman most would be excited but nervous. Camille was excited but hyper amplified, like that of a werewolf ready to run rampant. Upon being sorted into the fated House Vocifer however, she felt like she was the subject of controversy, having been the only student pulled aside to discuss her test results. She was marked an Apex. She made a name for herself due to her Vis. It seemed to have attracted everyone around her to demand an unspoken respect for the girl. She didn't want it to be a repeat of her old school, she wanted to be seen for who she is, not what she is. She defends everything she believes in, no matter what..or who might be trying to oppose that. However, she begin to excel in her abilities and studies, making a name for herself the right way. Once she found out about Rushball, the girl was all but hooked. She was finally growing into a young woman to be respected socially, and intellectually. But, upon her heightened existence, she will come to know that even this reality is threatened with the very surreal crucibles of the non-Potent world. Things were about to change yet again.

1 - What do you believe is the meaning of your life?
"To be the beacon this weary world needs without compromise. To be the example as opposed to an example."
2 - What is your moral compass when making difficult decisions?
"Would this be something I could live with 100 years from now on my deathbed?"
3 - What is your highest core value?
"Loyalty."
4 - What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
"The girl that changed the people that saved the world."
5 - How does your existence change humanity for the better?
"The unlimited potential in myself and everything I am will ascend past convention, which will in turn plant seeds of liberation to everyone I encounter. And that, could lead to the garden of salvation for mankind in the end."
6 - What is your biggest self-limiting belief?
"That I have to do things alone, otherwise I'll burden those around me. I'm an outcast."
7 - What is your deepest fear?
"To die without fulfilling my destiny."

Background: (Character bio & History)
Born in South Korea to two loving and overprotective parents, An Myung-Ok and An Dae-Hyun, in 2001. Life was perfect for Chun-Hei, but that all came crashing down the day her parents were murdered. Being the daughter of two criminal investigators, life was dangerous during a job, but this was revenge from a past job. Chun-Hei was only five at the time, but even as young as she was, she understood what happened to her parents. It took two years, under her Aunt's custody, she kept to herself. Never talking or making friends, only spending her time playing with her self and keeping up with her studies. When she finally broke out of her shell, she was befriended by a boy who kept her company. It started simple enough, reading books together, eating lunch in silence, and just staying near each other. Everything was going well, making new friends and finally smiling, when her Aunt divorced and moved to California, taking her with her. She had to start from zero once more.
In California, Chun-Hei went back to her silent spell. It didn't help that she began to notice things that seemed out of place. It began with water freezing, glass suddenly shattering, things floating but fall the moment she noticed them floating. It was something she was able to handle when she was at home, but when it began to happen at school, it began to be a problem. It was getting easy to hide until the day she was the target of the school's bully. Chun-Hei doesn't remember much from what happened that day, except the moments the bully began to hurt her. The next thing she knew she was in the nurse's office with the news that both she and the bully ended up being found in a destroyed classroom both hurt. The bully never came back to school after that. She finally got answered to all the things that have happened in her life the day she got her invitation to Invectus Institute.

4 - What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
"The one that brought justice to the world."
5 - How does your existence change humanity for the better?

6 - What is your biggest self-limiting belief?
"I am too cold to allow people in for fear of losing them. I am destined to walk this road alone."

9 - The blaring noise of an enraged crowd surrounds you as the heat from a humid environment dampens on your skin. The crowd rages on as the culprit looks at you with tired eyes. She finally speaks. "There's no point, you're a coward. All of you. You don't see the truth." The time has come, now or never, life or death. You grip the gun, and...

...close my eyes, going over every possible link that had brought this woman to this moment in her life. The only evidence is her being there at the time of death, anyone could have brought or could have created the tea for the leader to drink. What was her reason to be there? She could be only the escape goat. If she was close to the leader, then removing her would only be strange, to say the least. What if was all an act, no... Why would she be over be anywhere close tot he leader if they were poisoned, she could have just slipped out without a second thought. No... she was on top of the leader over worry. She has clearly been crying. There is just not enough evidence. An innocent person could die, but I will die if I do not do it.
I open my eyes as I look at every angry face, all of them crying out to kill the woman. Taking a single look down at the woman, the clear exhaustion and pain from the heat of the lava. He last words come back to me. No one knows the truth except for her. Clenching my jaw as my grip on the gun tightened. Slowly, raising the gun to the woman's head, I glance over to the interim leader who was forcing her hand to do the task. Swallowed breath, I fought the urge to lift the gun to the person threatening my life along with the woman. With a single deep breath, she murmurs under her breath, "Naneun god jug-eul geos-ida." With that, I pull the trigger ending the woman's life. I will avenge you, as long as you are innocent. The truth must come to light. I can't do that, dead.

+Please answer the written questions to the most acute accuracy, no indirect answers. 'I don't know' answers will be marked as inadequate.+

1 - What do you believe is the meaning of your life?

I'm not sure yet... Hopefully it's to do something cool or amazing. It'd suck if I was destined to be a plumber or something like that.

2 - What is your moral compass when making difficult decisions?

When I'm about to do something stupid I think about what my mom would say if I did it, or how she would look at me. Of course, it doesn't work all the time, but I would say the success rate is about 80%.

3 - What is your highest core value?

Accountability, 100%. If you do something, own up to it.

4 - What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

I want my future kids or grandkids to look back, and say, "I'm proud he was my dad/grandpa, he was one cool cat."

5 - How does your existence change humanity for the better?

I'm not trying to be cocky...but I think I'm one more good guy that tries his hardest to make this world a better place. However corny that may sound.

6 - What is your biggest self-limiting belief?

I'm too loyal I think. I don't believe in leaving people, and I'm sure it holds me back, but I can't bring myself to do it.

7 - What is your deepest fear?

My biggest fear is being betrayed. I fear what it'll do to me.

His ultimate goal is to make the world a better place however that is one of the things witch he has strange ideas about.

I turn to the crowd and shout "This is not the way of justice. Justice demands that we give her a fair trial and an opportunity to defend herself. Mob justice is no justice at all" and with that I drop the gun, hoping the crowd will see reason.

I press the button and tell to whoever is listening "I will not play your game. If I go out it will be on my terms." And with that I pull a knife out of my pocket and slit my throat.

*After the emulated reality portion, the headset is shut off as you are revealed to be in an all white room with no one around. All of your belongings you had with you are right beside you.*
+Thank You for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you soon.+

Name: Luis Marlowe

Nickname (If any): Lu, sometimes Louie

Age: 19
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 178 lbs.
Year (if applicable): Senior

House: House Mentifer

Vis: Telekinetic Teleportation

Personality Goods:
- Logical and knowledgeable, especially in times of situational distress
- Academically inclined
- Usually balanced and laid-back demeanor
- Organized: keeps routine methodical and living space neat
- Perceptive
- Discreet when speaking about self
- Conversational and more open when he gets comfortable (eg. when relaxed, or warming up to someone). If you get him on a subject he really likes, he can talk for hours on end about it.

Personality Bads:
- Often seems disinterested in his opinions and reactions
- Secretive (especially concerning motives and feelings)
- Becomes irritable when a routine is altered or changed suddenly
- Has a way of twisting words and sometimes resorts to manipulation to reach an important goal
- Cold - and at times scornful if in an especially bad mood - otherwise can be considered tersely polite around strangers and acquaintances

Hobbies and Skills:
▪ Most notably, Luis is extremely handy with contraptions and machines - he is especially capable with the reparation and construction of generators and engines.
▪ Speaks both English and French (primarily), sufficient in German.
▪ Has a large collection of instruction manuals, car & motorbike magazines, and engineering textbooks from his previous academy (too expensive to throw away). While they are all mainly either French or English, some differ in their written languages - one may be German, the other Korean. Luis takes it upon himself to attempt hand-writing the gist of the text into a language he can comprehend better, resulting in a lot of handwritten notes.
▪ Storage containers filled with spare equipment are lined up neatly in his living space. Each piece is rigorously categorized and/or color-coded.
▪ Enjoys running, preferably in a secluded area such as a forest.
▪ Keeps a small box of cheesy B-movies and French rock albums on his shelf. While Luis doesn't exactly like B-movies, he finds them endearing and easy to digest when mentally exhausted from a difficult day or an all-nighter.
▪ Very good at endurance and movement/parkour activities.
▪ Due to his love of problem-solving, it's safe to say Luis is addicted to puzzle games and logic questions.

Background:
Born in France, Luis was raised by a moderately wealthy family and thus had an excellent academic upbringing: he was a highly ambitious child, and aspired to take after his mother, who worked as a quality engineer in aerospace manufacturing. He was an only child and formed many friendships with his peers, whom he engaged in debates and conversations from an early age. Seeing a career in technology or manufacturing as his only option in a family of almost entirely inventors, he pursued engineering without a second thought - all the way up to his teenage years. Wanting to practice his skills, Luis worked and studied in an auto repair shop at the age of 15 as a student (he didn't receive money) in lower districts of Rouen, France. It was there that he received what he first thought was an anonymous tip from a customer, but upon opening it realized it was far more interesting. While initially skeptical, gnawing curiosity eventually motivated Luis to accept the invitation.

THE TEST OF WHO YOU ARE: LUIS MARLOWE

1 - What do you believe is the meaning of your life?

"I've always believed that a person should leave behind a legacy of some sort. For me, it's no different. I just hope it's a lasting one - as in, I'll make something world-changing, or become someone that goes down in history. That's a pretty high expectation, I'm aware, but I'm determined to fulfill it anyways."

2 - What is your moral compass when making difficult decisions?

"Sit back and let it smolder in your head for a bit. In the end, it ultimately comes down to what you get out of it, and how the decision will benefit you in the long run. Maybe it's not the most compassionate of choices, or the most ethical one, but as long as you come out better than the other guy, it's a win in my book.

3 - What is your highest core value?

"The art of perseverance. Every person experiences it in some way or another, but only some can beat it, and those are the types I can respect. Perseverance is the ultimate judge of so many other values that it really does make or break someone."

4 - What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

"A decent one, hopefully. Preferably one that sheds a good light on me - but I could settle for a shade muddier. As long as I don't become a speck on the timeline, you know? Nothing more than a…birth certificate, or a heap of documents in a file organizer. I hope to innovate something or be someone that's on people's minds for years afterwards, and whose trace can be seen on everything everywhere. Something tangible. Something real."

5 - How does your existence change humanity for the better?

"Well, I haven't done much yet except fix a couple of cars. Not a very gratifying existence so far, in my humble opinion, but my time's drawing close. I'm sure of it. I'll do something grand, trust me. Something that'll make humanity turn its head and wonder why they'd never noticed me beforehand."

6 - What is your biggest self-limiting belief?

"I'm not very proud of admitting this, but my fear of failure holds me back from a lot of ambitious projects I've set out to do. Sometimes I'll approach a project and my mind just voids or my hands won't work. I'm too afraid to even attempt it, and that's what usually sabotages me. Not the actual problem, but my own dumb paranoia that gets in my head and says 'Hey idiot, despite you succeeding at multiple other things only slightly easier than this, this challenge is insurmountable and you should just stop right now.'"

7 - What is your deepest fear?

"That's a hard one. Fear of failure's pretty high up there, as well as basic phobias like drowning or being killed in some horrific way by my own industrial tools. But I think the winner would be losing control of my life - as in, I can no longer perceive things independently, or I have to rely on someone else, or my basic everyday world is turned on its head and there's nothing I can be sure is certain anymore. Hell, I'm even afraid of losing myself.

The time has come, now or never, life or death. You grip the gun, and…

…survey the immediate area again, trying to think straight in this tumult of noise and heat. There's an undercurrent of calm in her quiet voice, one that makes it seem like she's aware of her inevitable death. Even then, I'm disconcerted by the steadiness of it, and the dried tears staining her cheeks. She has obviously gone through so much pain already - the heated ground has blistered and burned her feet, and scorched whatever fight still in her. But I do not know what she has done - she may deserve this, she may not. Nevertheless, she will die - either at my hands, or ripped apart by dozens of others. I look back up at the crowd, their faces contorted masks of rage, and in that moment I make up my mind. The interim leader is screaming now, telling me to kill her or be killed with her. The heat is making my hands clammy - definitely the heat, it has to be - but I manage to pull back the pistol's hammer, loading the single bullet. The bound woman only stares at me as I raise the gun to her head. I cannot meet her gaze, so instead I look towards the interim leader when I pull the trigger. In the deafening roar of the crowd immediately after, I try to tell myself that I did the right thing. Better you than me. Better to die quick than burn.

…I falter. My thumb hovers over the button, yet I know there's nothing to say, and nothing that will prevent my death. I press it anyways - human curiosity, I suppose. Nothing happens. I lean in and speak. "Hello?" No response. I try again. "I hope the bastard that created this compass knows it's the most useless gadget in existence." I'm uncomfortably aware of the sand gathering in the hourglass. Feeling the eyes of the cheetahs on my back, I take the compass and hurl it into the East Wall, having to squint against the inferno's intensity. The compass vanishes in its clouds of smoke and fire. It does nothing thereafter. For a moment, I suddenly regret the action. But it couldn't have helped me. I instead turn my focus to the four fuses the hourglass is connected to. Something in the back in my brain whispers the consequences of tampering with it. I know what'll happen. But I get to decide the fate of my death, after all. Burning, getting torn apart, drowning… I fear that degree of pain. I could jump into the clouds, but that's too much time to think about my immediate death. Instead, I roll up my sleeves and approach one of the fuses. I wish I could say something cocky, something witty, something that could be inscribed on my grave. But in the end I only close my eyes and reach forwards.

"I think Aquaman gets a bad rap. Sure, his costume is ridiculous, I get that. But he has such good potential, you know? I always hear people saying 'Well, he doesn't do much, just talks to fish, so he's pretty pathetic.' No. He's so much more than that. He can breathe underwater. Travel the ocean at tremendous speeds. Do you know how much pressure is on the human body at depths like that? Aquaman doesn't care. He can telepathically communicate with any and all sea-life to be at his side. Do you want to fight a man with the entire ocean at his dispense? That's what I thought."

Background: (Character bio & History)

Ezekiel was an orphan, one of many in the slums of the African continent. He spent most of his younger life fighting to survive, stealing to eat and lying to survive. Luckily, or unluckily, he became rather good at this. So much so that he was scouted out and forcibly recruited by the local cartel because he was "tiny, skinny and really good for thievin". Coincidentally the same person who called him that also acted as his father figure, he was the leader of the cartel and an avid Christian, something that Ezekiel didn't care much about in the beginning. Something that was about to change...

During one evening Ezekiel woke up to find the compound where the drug cartel operated be under fire, and his father figure holding his hand over his liver trying to stop a wound. Without having time to react he was pulled by his mentor to a back room, he gave a hug to Ezekiel and after that, he performed a baptism on the young child giving him the name he has now. But before Ezekiel had any time to react the father figure told him to go a local parish where he would be safe and pushed him out of the backdoor. Last thing he heard from the compound as he was excaping was his screams of pain.

After the incident, Ezekiel began to focus on his new life with the church. Juggling between his duties as a member of the local church and taking care of his adopted brothers and sisters. He did so while in conjunction with his own free time for most of his teenage years, resulting in him becoming a devout believer in the faith... That was until, 3 months after his sixteenth birthday that he found a letter addressed to him out all people by some curious institution. He went to the priest who rescued him those many years ago and then showed the letter to him. The old man at this point looked at the letter for a second after realizing who it was from he got up tapped Ezekiel on the shoulder and then said to him; "It's time for you to experience the world.".

A few days later, he was sent to the campus, Ezekiel fully trusting the advice of his mentor.

+Please answer the written questions to the most acute accuracy, no indirect answers. 'I don't know' answers will be marked as inadequate.+

1 - What do you believe is the meaning of your life?
"What a peculiar question... You want me to answer a question people have been trying to ask for millenia? Nonetheless, I don't have a grand ambition of leaving a legacy for people to remember. I just want to make the world a better place in whatever way possible, and if no one remembers me atleast the lord is my witness."
2 - What is your moral compass when making difficult decisions?
"First of all calm down, look at the situation? Can everyone be satisfied in this situation and if so do that even if it's at your own expense, if not try to make the most people satisfied."
3 - What is your highest core value?
"I think it's my ability to understand other people, people are the largest and most important resource on the planet. If you just listen to someone speak you never know what you will find out.".
4 - What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
"As aforementioned, I don't want to leave a legacy of grandeur behind. I just want to make the world as good as possible, to be part of the myriad of people you never heard about who push the world towards being a better place."
5 - How does your existence change humanity for the better?
"It doesn't. Right now at least my existence has only helped a few people, which is not when considering the entire human race but I have a lot time on my hands and with time I will make the world a better place, through understanding and patience."
6 - What is your biggest self-limiting belief?
"I cannot lie, I can come a bit frank with some people. I want to help the best I can, and they need to hear their problem straightforward, but I still want them to know that I want the best for them."
7 - What is your deepest fear?
"That I will fail to help someone, in such a way that there is no way for them to be helped ever again. T

The time has come, now or never, life or death. You grip the gun, and...

Ezekiel looks around the people surrounding him and their endless roars for killing the girl in front of her. He looks at the accused criminal and then bends down on one knee ignoring the pain, just so he can better look at the girl and understand her pain. He sees the tired, blood red eyes from crying. He then stands up again, the burn on the knee he rested on still there and then he looks at the Interim Leader. Ignoring the raging orders to kill the girl Ezekiel stops for a second to think. Why would a leader of the people be so pushed to torture a poor soul in such a way? Is the death of that great leader so much for her to deserve this? Well if he was such a great leader then he wouldn't have wanted this for any of his subjects. He bends down again to look at the girl, he places his hand on her shoulder, her sight met with a warm smile. Ezekiel threw the gun on the floor and then lifted the girl up in his arms and proceeds to slowly and patiently walk off the stage, as to not hurt the girl even more. The last thing he can remember was a gun with a single bullet being shot behind him.

Ezekiel looks around a bit, calmly taking in the situation. Unlike the expected reaction of someone being faced with their impending mortality. After careful consideration he cannot find a good way for him to escape, since his chance of beating a cheetah, it's null. He sighs and decides since he is going to die nonetheless, presses the buttons towards the sky so he can see a nice view before his death. He goes next to the door, the air currents pushing him back in the room but he stands valiantly nonetheless, he looks at the sky for Providence. After a few seconds, he sighs and a smile comes back again on his face, he takes a step falling down towards the earth at a high velocity.
Not that Ezekiel minded as he saw the great world below him, green fields with a multitude of crops, great cities and finally a few seconds later he impacts with the ground, leaving nothing but darkness, as the human mind cannot comprehend it's own death.

"I personally quite like the new continuity of DC comics, even though it's a rather controversial view. There area few things that aren't good but they will be inevitably iron out. But some of the character reimaginings, such as Jason Todd as a priest are pretty cool, and I can relate."

Background: (Probably going to add on it after sorting powers + house)
Riley McLaughlin, probably sounds like just some white guy. Right? Nope. Riley was born to a Hispanic Mother by the name of Kassandra Rios, a woman who met a traveller by the name of Aidan McLaughlin. Aidan was a.. well, he is a very small but strong fellow. He travelled as a free spirit in hopes of better understanding other countries, other people. He wanted to form a connection with those around him. The one day he'd travelled to Catalonia, Spain, he met Kassandra. A young, passionate woman. The pair were very similar in their ways. But one had much more freedom than the other. When they met, it was like a movie moment. It was crazy how easily they clicked and how they communicated in such similar ways. Neither were necessarily the best at talking but instead by showing how they felt. Skipping over many things, they one day married and not too much longer had a son. A son they named Riley. A young little boy with the curliest dark brown hair, tan skin, and strange green eyes. But he was the love of their life. Kassie and Aidan adored their little boy and wanted him to be nothing less than perfect. Nothing less than what they were. Now, he has his flaws, don't get it wrong. There's a lot that he could fix on - especially in terms of his anger issues, but that's something for later. Kassie and Aidan moved around a lot. Having a child wasn't ideal for their living situation but in terms of keeping Riley active and happy, to have a connection to the earth and others just as they had, that was the benefits.

Personally, because of all the moving, Riley took connections with individuals he met quite.. important. It was significant to him when he found someone he could see himself in but also much more. He would always want them close even if he'd be leaving in the next month or so. That'd probably explain his intense feelings towards friends and family, especially the ones who stick around the longest. He wants to protect you when he feels that connection he was taught to better understand when growing up.

+Please answer the written questions to the most acute accuracy, no indirect answers. 'I don't know' answers will be marked as inadequate.+

1 - What do you believe is the meaning of your life?
"Uh.. I think the meaning of life is to make a change? Like, the world sucks a bit, people are here to make it better and to watch it grow so if we see it fail we can't blame anyone else. But we won't fail as long as we use our time wisely."
2 - What is your moral compass when making difficult decisions?
"I guess it'd be whether my friends and family would be proud of the outcome. Think of the butterfly effect, too, how is this gonna shape me in the future? Better or worse?"
3 - What is your highest core value?
"Definitely perserverance, pushing through no matter what until I've succeeded."
4 - What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
"I wanna be the guy that always tried his hardest no matter what."
5 - How does your existence change humanity for the better?
"My existence? I think that because I'm outspoken and don't give up that I show people you can do whatever you want and you should always do it for the others around you."
6 - What is your biggest self-limiting belief?
"Probably that I need to do everything for anyone who's close to me. My friends and family are all that keeps me going, I'll do anything for them, they're number one."
7 - What is your deepest fear?
"My deepest fear is failing my friends and family. And heights, and insects.. sorry, no failure. Biggest fear is failure."

You grip the gun, and... turn it away from the woman, instead aiming it at the leader of the community. I was angered, frustrated, and yet so confused. Many things told me to do exactly as I was told however pulling this trigger on this woman, for reasons that could not be explained in the depth that I expected for me to murder her in return, felt wrong. It felt so wrong but I couldn't allow myself to die as well. For I could see the faces of my family far in the crowd, watching me. My mother's hand clamped over her mouth. Was she disappointed in me for not shooting this woman? And so I glanced, at the one I was meant to execute. But instead I chuckled and shamelessly swung the gun around. "Oh, no.. no, no! You're quite wrong, sir, I believe a tortured life is better for one who's committed such a crime! A death to release her from such treason committed against us all? No, you must let her live her life knowing what she's done. Confined and alone forever." I argue as I again point the gun towards the woman before me. I didn't feel the rage that they felt for, despite being of my own, were not my family. I had seen the light in my mother's eyes when I refused to shoot this woman and that was plenty to make me realize not to do so. I was sure this was a better choice than her death.. whether or not she truly did kill the man she stood before. "I hope you see fair reason, and I mean no harm, but I also hope the law is adjusted according to this view of mine."

You take your compass and.... press the button in the middle. Purely out of curiosity, as it appeared to stand for something much different than the rest on this strange compass device. "I know whoever you are, you want me to remember. Remember what, I don't know. If you want me to run, yeah, I can run. To burn? Well, I always had an interest in that. I've been shocked before.. but I don't think that's the point of this. A strange test, this really is, whatever pain I suffer must bring someone pleasure. But for those who care about me, if you know I'm here, I care for you in just the same depth." I spoke with a sullen tone, a grunt leaving me simply moments after glancing at the rest of my options. I stood there for quite a while, stomping my foot angrily and looking around for just something to punch. "Fuck you for this! I hope you burn in Hell!" I curse before heading North. The thought of it all, being able to, perhaps, see something beautiful before I die. A sky, clouds, light. Wherever I end up afterwards could never be as horrid as knowing I didn't die with something to look forward to afterwards. Allow my body to sink in the water below.

"Look, fight me on it, do whatever you want - Superman is overrated and the Flash is the bomb. No, wait, Firestorm. Firestorm is wicked cool, have you ever seen him? Nuclear powers all the way, man. Plus, Marvel sucks compared to D.C. Sure the MCU is better than DC movies but that doesn't meaning anything!"

Adonna has seen her share of trouble, faulted much to, well, her. Issues with authority, repeated deviant behavior, it was no surprise when a fight led to her expulsion. Her aunt provided the troubled girl with a place to live and work while her family attempted to find her a new school and district that would take her. The teen moved states to live with her aunt, working as a contractor for her Aunt's company while doing odd-jobs at her Aunt's home. Adonna wanted to keep busy, lest she dwell on her own mistakes. There was no-one to blame but herself. Always a need to prove herself, mixed with an easily bruised ego, and an inability to curb volatile reactions-- the perfect combination to spell trouble. She struggled with her own guilt, Eventually, the quiet around her forced her to confront the noise in her head. She realized that she needed to change, and it would come slowly, one step at a time. Curb her reactionary tendencies, think before acting, and be patient... especially with herself.

A second chance came in the form of an envelope. Adonna swore this time would not be a repeat of her last high school.

1 - What do you believe is the meaning of your life?
"To do the right thing. And, in the future, be in a place where I can usher the right thing."
2 - What is your moral compass when making difficult decisions?
"My gut. It knows, it knows even when I'm fired up what the right thing is. I just gotta listen to it."
3 - What is your highest core value?
"Being just. I don't mean the law, I mean doing right. Maybe even backing the right thing, but sometimes... Sometimes that just isn't my business."
4 - What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
"The kind that inspires others with strength against unfair things."
5 - How does your existence change humanity for the better?
"I know I've screwed up a lot, but I'm not that person anymore. I'm gonna work at being that person who can rectify wrongs, in the right way. If I can be that person, or even get close, that's how my existence would change humanity for the better."
6 - What is your biggest self-limiting belief?
"That it's all none of my business and I should just keep my opinions on it to myself."
7 - What is your deepest fear?
"That... I'm no different from the past me, and that I can't be different, ever."

Keep it close to my side. Finger right on the trigger guard. "Quiet," He's only instigating the crowd, and I hate that. I want him to see I have the gun ready, but I don't want to point it at anyone. "Not until I see the evidence." My gut's telling me not to let him loft around freely, "Until then, we'll tie her to you." I nod at the woman, "For safety's sake." Name: Hotaru Nakamura
Nickname (If any): Taru, Haru
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5’0”
Weight: 115 lb
Year (if applicable): Sophomore
House: Pathifer
Vis: Elemental Recomposition

Personality Goods:
Polite · Eccentric · Playful · Active · Charismatic · Approachable
Personality Bads:
Naive · Childish · Indecisive · Needy · Morbid · Mischievous

Hobbies and Skills: Her hobbies include watching horror films, sewing, drawing and painting, and practicing any form of deception. Her love of horror and the occult makes her very knowledgeable about the strange. Hotaru loves to collect porcelain dolls and random knickknacks. She is able to speak English, Chinese, and very little Japanese despite being half Japanese.

Background: (Character bio & History)
Her mother was an illegal immigrant. She came to California on a temporary visa with her new American husband and before they could return to Japan, Hotaru was born. They decided to settle and move over to where Hotaru’s grandfather lived. The newly wed couple had problems with each other and only seemed to tolerate each other for the sake of their only child. Her parents finally gave up on their marriage when she turned three. The parents fought with some legal issues, before settling that they would have to share Hotaru. After two years of court battles and Hotaru staying over at her grandfather’s house, the court settled with splitting up the year by two. The fall and the spring was spent with her father and the summer and winter was spent with her mother. Despite the decision made, Hotaru felt like she was the only one who could decide where she would go and stay. Rather than going with her either one of her parents, she settled with staying with her grandfather.

For the first few years living with her grandpa, she tried to inconvenience him as much as she could. It wasn’t until she realized that her mischief didn’t affect him, she dropped her act. Their relationship was a bit damaged from her initial hostile nature, but she still respected and cared about him. As it grew to be more and more inconvenient for her parents, Hotaru’s grandpa took custody of her. Seeing Hotaru with her grandfather, her mother returned to Japan and her father went back to New York.

As she was growing up, her love for horror movies grew. She grew out her hair and would stand in front of her grandfather’s bed at night with her hair flipped over her face, clearly impersonating as a monster from a movie. Hotaru’s grandfather had a will of steel, he wouldn’t even flinch to her antics. When she was younger, Hotaru would pretend that she was dead and use her subpar makeup skills to dress up as a corpse and try to scare him.

Hotaru’s school life was difficult for her at first. Everyday after primary school, she would come home crying. Her family did not know the exact reason why she cried. They believed she was being bullied but never looked into it. Hotaru eventually stopped crying when she came home. As she entered middle school and highschool, Hotaru became a social outcast and attracted certain people attracted to a certain type of niche. She began to frequently visit odd shops in town and bring home dolls and books about ghostly apparitions.

It wasn't long until she brought home an envelope.

It felt too heavy for Hotaru’s slim fingers, it felt warm to the touch almost like it was already used to fire at something. Her heart sank deeper into her chest as she realized that the crowd was turned to her with piercing eyes that burned judgment. Taking in a sharp intake of air through her nose, Hotaru tossed her hair forward and brought the gun closer to her chest. Glancing at the tied up woman and the interim leader, she hunched over and hid the gun inside the folds of her clothes and her long hair. The roars of the crowd ringed in her ears as their impatience grew thin. Hotaru jolted up from her hunched position and showed off the gun to the angry mob. She lifted the gun up, aiming right at the woman and pulled the trigger.

Click!

The absence of the sound of a gun going off has hushed the crowd. Hotaru tilted her head at the gun, feigning confusion. She aimed the gun at the air and pulled the trigger once and then thrice. Nothing resembling a bullet has set off from the gun. While the the gun was hidden from the public’s eye, she quickly fumbled around to discreetly unload it. With the crowd’s attention drawn towards the gun and the prisoner, no one paid any attention to the supposed executioner’s sleight of hand as she slipped the bullet into her pocket. She gestured to the crowd that she was very confused as to why the gun was not going off with shrugged shoulders and dropped the gun at her feet.

Oh, how nice. Hotaru crossed her arms and glanced at the button in the middle, What a sick joke! At least I can pick how I want to die. Twirling her hair with her fingers, she pursed her lips and tried to look at each option with careful consideration; however, her thoughts seem to only occupy the West Wall. How pretty would it be to float gently like a jellyfish? Hotaru spun on her heels and headed towards the endlessly blue ocean.

*After the emulated reality portion, the headset is shut off as you are revealed to be in an all white room with no one around. All of your belongings you had with you are right beside you.*

+Thank You for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you soon.+

Spiderman Noir is pretty underrated, I really hope that they eventually decide to make a film about it! I loved the Black Cat’s role in the story! It tore my heart into two when I found out how--...! Oh no, that’s spoiler territory~
