The year is 2257, and war is rearing its ugly mug, mainly in what was once America. The government that was once the perfect example for other nations is in ruins. All because of one thing. The Plated. A group of special people covered in extremely durable armor meant to be the perfect army. And your one of them.
Were, anyways. But you weren't always one. You were once just a normal human. Not normal exactly. You were special. Whether you were athletically gifted or had an advanced brain, they took you in. They fed you, and housed you. And then they 'cleaned' you. They wiped all memory and emotion from your conscience, making you a blank slate. They then trained you to kill mercilessly, with virtually any weapon known to man.
But you were still weak. You were human after all. So they 'fixed' you. They Covered you in a suit of mesh and metal that was near indestructible. And then you were ready to be the ultimate killing machine. You were told countless orders that you couldn't refuse. After all, if you don't have a will, what can you do besides follow?
The government rules with an iron fist, leaving little room for rebellion. The plated were nearly unstoppable, except for one, small item that may end the bloodshed. A small electronic bracelet that gave the plated the ability to feel emotion, or control them directly.
A group known as The Broken Wake has seized several of these bracelets, allowing them to possibly capture and use the Plated for their own purposes. Which side are you on?
