Ninel Molotov

chernyshev-aleksandr.jpg

Age: 25.

Nationality: Russian.

Social Status: General, noble.

Skills & Knowledge: Carpentry, stonemasonry, engineering, landscaping, surveying, hunting, trapping.

Backstory: Ninel was born to wealthy nobles, but was forced to work for every ruble of his birthright as a young laborer on the family estate in an attempt to bring discipline into his life. After proving himself worthy of the Molotov name, he was awarded by being placed on the fast track of the Imperial Army and eventually achieved the rank of general, largely due to his connections.

Personality: Ninel can be described as a calm and soft spoken leader, and little else. Often his rivals are in turmoil, for he obliges them no weakness to take advantage of.

Relationships: Although he has been known to keep a correspondence with his late sister, he has not been known since to confide in others. His closest approximations to friends would be, at best, his fellow commanders and, superior.

Tsar Nikolai I of House Romanov

df6b2214f8d2e9013b1b364dadcaf365.jpg

Age: 18

Nationality:
Russian

Social Status:
Emperor and Autocrat of All Russians

Skills & Knowledge:
Can be rather charismatic when he wishes and likes to dazzle the nobility and commoners alike. Has a surprisingly good knowledge of Russia and it's people beyond even his mothers own knowledge. In terms of warfare he is out of his depth when commanding a battle, the stressful nature of even a mock event has caused him to capitulate and walk away.

Backstory:
Born on the 7th of July 1794 in the Winter Palace at St Petersburg to Empress Catherine II of Russia during the nation's so called Golden Age his early life was even more pampered than his predecessors was. Everything he could ever want was given to him and his sister who was birthed not a year after him although they were distant even in childhood. He was never meant to be Tsar as he had two strong and military minded older brothers that were seen as the nation's future and bulwark against continental instability, naturally he was not trained to rule and his only hobby was riding with the Palace Guards in mock battles (although never commanding). If he had one thing behind him however, it was the love of the people who saw him as a people's Prince, even at a young age he would travel Russia and walk amongst the serfs even without guards on some occasions which bought delight to the peasantry.

When the first war with Napoleon came it changed everything, he witnessed his first ever battle on the 2nd of December 1805 at Austerlitz although he never fought in it being a boy of 11. The battle was a disaster and the combined Russian and Austrian forces were routed and his two older brothers lied dead on the field with their bodies never recovered. This fundamentally changed him and he became much less personable after that and always seemed on the edge of tears even if only a simple mention of Napoleon or Austerlitz came up. As the new heir he got a commisson in the Hussars but not as their leader as per his insitance, he fought his first battles against the Turks in the south and after many a battle became a seasoned cavalry man but his lack of willingness to command concerned the military and his mother greatly, after all he was to rule Russia one day.

His mother finally died in 1810 and at the young age of 16, Nikolai assumed the crown and became Emperor and Autocrat of All Russians ruling the nation with absolute power. In his brief reign he has even extended some reforms seen in France to the serfs of Russia whilst continuing in the footsteps of Peter the Great trying to westernize the nation.
.
Personality: Nikolai is a good hearted man but deeply conflicted inside and as a ruler, he hates being Tsar but at the same time would never renounce the crown believing he has a right to wear it. Whilst he is charismatic and knows every member of the Imperial Court at a glance this is but a facade to hide an insecure and inexperienced young man given a role he never wanted and was never meant to have. Nothing brings him more satisfaction than lying in his chambers and blocking the world around him out.

Relationships:

His sister: They are a distant pair but siblings nonetheless and Nikolai feels no Ill will towards her at all but rarely gets the chance to even talk to her.

Age: 43

Nationality: French (Corsican)

Skills and Knowledge: Perhaps one of the greatest military leaders the world has ever seen, L’Empereur commands a great deal of respect, and holds the absolute loyalty of many of his subjects and subordinates. His charisma is unsurpassed, and he excels not only at diplomacy, but also administration and law, making him a remarkable statesman and great leader. When commanding an army, Napoleon is truly in his element and his expert knowledge of military strategy has won him many battles, he is an experienced general and a seasoned soldier.

Backstory: Born Napoleone di Buonaparte upon the island of Corsica, barely a year after it had been transferred to French control from the Republic of Genoa, Napoleon’s father, Carlo di Buonaparte was a minor Italian noble and diplomat who had served as a member of the French government under King Louis XVI. Napoleon himself, a second son, was enrolled into a military academy at Brienne-le-Chateau, where he distinguished himself as a skilled pupil. This allowed him to enroll in one of the most elite military academies in France, the Ecole Militaire in Paris. Whilst he proved to be skilled in mathematics, history and geography, Napoleon’s first language was Corsican and as such he had trouble adapting to the French way of speaking, with many of his peers mocking him for his accent.

Once he had graduated, he joined the military proper and gained experience in leadership, he also developed republic sympathies and a pamphlet he published gained him the support of Augustin Robespierre. Napoleon climbed the ranks of the republican military and became a Brigadier General at only twenty-four, serving in Italy against both Austrian and Sardinian enemies. He was married in 1796 to Josephine de Beauharnais, he would continue to gain military experience fighting all over the Italian peninsula and also in Egypt.

Napoleon returned from Egypt with a heroes welcome and quickly used his influence to stage a coup d'etat against the French government, who had been suffering many defeats against the ‘second coalition’ which had formed to combat the French Republic. Napoleon named himself ‘First Consul of France.’ Five years later however, Napoleon once again grew in power, and he used a series of assassination attempts against him to establish a new imperial system in France akin to that of the Roman Empire, Napoleon was elected ‘Emperor of the French’ by more than 99% of French voters and was coronated. From here Napoleon began to reform France in his image, and he used his military prowess to fight back against many different coalitions that formed up to stop him. He established France as the dominant power upon the continent and subdued many other states, forcing them to become either puppets or allies of France. Now only two major powers remain in his way: The United Kingdom of King George III and his lackey, the Duke of Wellington, and Russia who had been subdued once and would be subdued again, though perhaps this time with less leniency.

Personality: At his core, Napoleon is a strong man, and capable, with little tolerance of those who show weakness or incompetence. Some might call him over ambitious, however it was not they that conquered Europe, and Napoleon’s short temper means that he is not likely to stand for insults. Headstrong and incredibly proud of himself and his own accomplishments, to his people Napoleon is a larger than life hero, though across the channel he would be known as a tyrant and a despot. Despite being the Emperor who ended the French Republic, Napoleon has incredibly liberal ideals and has spread positive reforms to many of his conquered states.

Relationships: Napoleon has one son with his Austrian wife, the King of Rome, Napoleon II. He is very generous with his family, giving away titles and honours, however he has a strained relationship with his brothers Lucian and Louis. He is still on good terms with his ex-wife despite them being split, and continues to promote her children, especially her son who he adopted as his own (though not as heir.) He is close to a lot of his generals.

Social Status 」

Tsaritsa

Skills & Knowledge 」

Silver tongue || being articulate and personable, thinking on one’s feet, having a strong command over one’s own emotions, an easy-going nature, being able to read body language and micro-expressions, displaying calm under pressure. This skill comes from an ability to communicate one’s sincerity and trustworthiness through speech, saying the right thing at the right time to persuade, get out of trouble, or talk oneself into places and events that are off limits.
Quick-witted | | Galina is a sly woman its hard for many to fool her, not only can she read people like an open book shes also cunning. She can easily come up with solutions.
Advising | | It seems that Galina has a solution for everything or she thinks she does at least.

Backstory 」
Galina was born in Russia although her ancestors originated from Scotland, her family being nobles from Scotland they found the language a bit thick on their tongue. Galina's mother (Tara) was related to the late queen of Scots being her aunt, the late Queen had plans for a treaty with Russia and at the same time, Tara was looking for a suitor. At the age of 8, Galina was sent over to Russia and lived there ever since then, her mother would come visit every 2 years or so. Although Galina was sent over to spend time with the prince or at least acquainted with him yet she only met him once and that was the first day she arrived. She spent most of her childhood in her room mostly reading books. She was taught to speak the Russian language although at times she still has trouble wording things and understanding people mostly because she didn't speak often as a child. She wasn't a very good singer maybe that's why she and the princess didn't get along at a young age. Or maybe her jealousy didn't allow her to become friends with her. Galina was jealous of the princess she had her whole family there surrounding her she was jealous of the love that she had.

During her early teens, Galina fell into a deep hole of depression. She felt alone and at night she tends to feel a lot at night and that's when she writes sometimes while writing shes so overwhelmed with emotion she cries and she dosesn't know why it makes her feel like there's something wrong with her. And it becomes harder to admit, so it becomes easier to lie and act like everything's fine. Events from her child she began affecting her adult life. She would lash out, feel down out of nowhere and she couldn't explain why. It just got so messed up in her head sometimes and she couldn't escape it not when it was happening in her mind so she beat herself up and beat herself up until she felt so small. At times she would be in a room filled with people and still feel alone. She can put on an act and pretend to be tough but deep down she never quite felt brave enough. She felt so small in this big, big world that she felt like all she had was her words to keep her sense of control.

Her savior was the Tsar's mother she seemed to understand her they grew very close in short amount of time. Instead of taking her classes from her usual tutors her soon to be mother-in-law began teaching her all she needed to know when she had the time of course. When she died many would have thought that it was too much for Galina to take yet she handled pretty well. She became quite strong mostly because of her mother-in-law's teaching, not that she didn't cry she spent weeks in her room and still today she mourns her passing.

Name: Mikhail Illarionovich Kutuzov

Age: 66

Nationality: Russian

Social Status: Count; generally high due to his birth and exploits under the likes of Catherine the Great and Suvorov

Skills & Knowledge: military strategy and theory, diplomacy, fluent in or at least studied French, German, English, Swedish, Polish, and Turkish.

Backstory: Mikhail Kutuzov was born in St. Petersburg to a distinguished and noble family from Novgorod. He has been a military man for practically his entire life--he began military schooling when he was 12 (1759) and already in 1762 he commanded a company in the Astrakhan Infantry Regiment which was under the famous Alexander Suvorov. He was not only a student of Suvorov, but a student of military strategies, theories, and science as a whole--for instance he studied the strategies of George Washington in the American Revolutionary War--and he showed great skill in leadership. During his military exploits he was shot in the head, messing up his right eye, but he is still very competent. As shown by his recent victory against the Turks (again). He was commanding forces at Austerlitz, which may not sit well with some.

Personality: Kutuzov is brave and believes in leading men he cares for and trusts, from the front. He is the subject of a bit of a personality cult within the ranks, and Russia, not least because of his appearance.

Relationships: Typically on good terms with nobles and other generals, though not the Tsar, if he begrudges Kutuzov for being at Austerlitz.
