For those of you who don't know what The Outsiders is, well, it's currently my favorite book. I recommend you read it if you want to do this rp, it's not very long, but if you don't want to read, here's the basic information that you need to know.
- The book/RP takes place in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1965
- There is a rivalry between two groups of people. The Socials or Socs, who live on the West Side of town and are rich and like to jump the Greasers, the poor kids who live on the East Side of town and cause trouble.
- Ponyboy Curtis, the main character of The Outsiders by S.E Hinton, is jumped by Socs when he is with Johnny Cade. Johnny kills a Soc, and the two are on the run. There's a fire in the old church the two are hiding in, and Dallas/Dally Winston has to keep their secret from the rest of the gang. Johnny dies from getting hurt in the fire, and Dally basically kills himself afterward.
- Ponyboy's gang consists of his two older brothers, Sodapop and Darrel/Darry Curtis, Two-Bit Matthews, Steve Randle, and the now deceased Johnny Cade and Dallas Winston
RULES
-Please, no one liners. At least have 3 lines so that the RP can actually progress.
-Please have correct grammar and no text talk. I understand if English isn't your main language, but I would like to at least be able to understand what you are saying.
-There are mentions of alcohol and smoking in the book and stuff, but please refrain from cursing a whole lot, and don't have any explicit scenes here. I'd rather not go against the rules.
-Please respect other people OOC
-Try to post at least once every few days, and tell me if you're going to be gone for a while so I don't think you just dropped out of the RP.
