The ooc chat

Actually that makes some sense there. Correct me if I'm wrong but perhaps the Outlanders are trying to prevent outside help from coming to the Valkens?

The Emperor arrives in Valken looking to renegotiate with Valken about some trade items. The Royals keep it a secret because they don't want everyone else to know that Narvasen, Emperor Radfor's country, exists. Narvasen ships come into a specific port on Valken, which trade precious ores. The Royals have covered it up so that the precious ore comes from a 'mine', instead of a trade ship.

If Neko wishes to make a side chapter or whatever for the Valken RPers in the Capitol, I suggested that Emperor Radfor could be there, with his presence known only to the Royals. The assassins could be there to try and kill him, like what Clockwork suggests, but they don't know who he truly is. Perhaps they just mistake him for a high ranking general; its up to Neko to decide to the motivations for them.

okay so basically hes at the capitol, but outlanders want to kill him because hes some important "general" person?

I dunno, it's an idea. He certainly looks the part; his armor is sturdy yet fancy, much like what I'd imagine a general would have.

Might actually make sense if the acting queen hires Jackson again for protection given his skill with a blade.

They could also try to assassinate Furia cause she's actually one of the four great Generals of Valken. ((Someone has yet to claim the other three)).

im still a bit confused how i get from the dock/mine place to where hes in the valken capitol talking with Freya, to being assassinated

You could say that the mine event has already passed and he's gone with Freya or someone who knows of him to the Capitol.

yeah XD but i was confused on how it was gunna work ;-; sowwy... ><

ill respond today for sure :> was sorta waiting on @theunderwolf

Ok here is what could happen based on what we're all contributing.

  • Day after the party, a trade ship has come in and contributes metal to Valken(naturally the royalty is keeping this under wraps)
  • On this ship the emperor himself is arriving to discuss matters of state with Freya
  • Freya asks for Joshua's help once more in matters of the sword
  • The emperor surprises Freya and after the metals have been dealt with they go into negotiations
  • Assassins strike not knowing that the emperor is who he is and they are mainly attempting to attack Freya
  • Combat ensures.

Thoughts on this idea?

i think that seems fine

but attempting to attack and kill Freya? thats a pretty lofty idea, maybe just the emperor person who they see as an ally of Valken but dont know who he is really

yknow, im quite busy, in a few too many roleplays (Admittedly) and i struggle to keep up with everything entirely, and i know it makes rpers suffer <3  which bothers me

should i get a co-GM for this rp??

A co-GM's job is kinda more to keep the players in line and deal with administrative stuffs though. I don't see how a co-GM helps you much in this one.
