"Oh? Is that so?" Akira replied as they were going down. 'Then does that mean she doesn't have enough to pay for her travels, I guess.'"You could say that," Sanae replied. "I have a lot of 'off days,' in that case."
"Hey, is anyone home?" she asked as she took her first steps around the first floor.
"Ah!" A young man jolted awake at the sound Sanae's voice. Akira turned to the counter on a wall near the staircase. The man, as described earlier, looks young. He had blonde hair wearing a red tunic. It was obvious that the man was asleep a few minutes earlier until Sanae woke him. Perhaps something kept him up all night. "Good morning! How may I help you?"
"Did you forget that you were running an Inn?" Akira muttered as he approached the oblivious Inn keeper. He took out his wallet, which had 15000 Yen at the moment. "Sorry if we suddenly slept here so suddenly while you were out, how much is one night here?"
"Ah, you slept here?" The Innkeeper asked, "I must've missed your luggage, ha ha!"
"We kept our things with us." Akira said as he nodded. "There are three of us in a room, and-"
"Say no more! It's my job to accommodate travelers like you after all!" The Innkeeper's kindness somehow caught Akira off guard. Perhaps he can learn a thing or two from him. "I'll go prepare your breakfast. Three people, right?" He asked as he walked to a door right beside the counter. This prompted Akira a chance to look around the Inn's first floor. There are tables littered in every corner of the room. A pillar behind every chair with green seats which looks like it can accommodate 3 people at once. Each table has two chairs from side to side, and each table is near a wall.
"Before you do that, mind if we asked you a couple of questions?" Akira asked as the Innkeeper turned to Akira with a confused look.
"Uh...Sure." The Innkeeper scratched the back of his head, "What would like to know?"
