Wonho's nickname came from the fact that he used to make himself sort of the self-declared group "protector." If trouble came around, he was always there to face it head-on. His tough guy persona was always only skin deep, though. He was always caring with his friends, doing stupid little things like brushing dirt off their clothes if he saw it, straightening their ties if they were wearing them, even helping them out if they had something stuck on their teeth. He was touchy without shame, loving to give and receive hugs, and was always ready to cause the sort of mischief that would make people laugh outright. However, he suffered from some pretty strong confidence issues despite his seeming cockiness, flirty nature, and general good looks, which was why he was constantly at the gym working out, toning his body, making himself look like someone that people would want to be close to. He was always very sensitive to insults and failures, constantly afraid that he would mess up, that he was never good enough. It was Dog who would comfort him in his depressive states, coaxing him out of it and back to the carefree idiot he actually wanted to be. When Dog died, there was no one left to lean on; one by one he watched his makeshift family fall apart, and no matter how hard he tried to hold it together, it just wasn't good enough. The pressure was too much, and he found himself using his depression and his anxiety meds to help him get through, to help him make the bad feelings stop. Maybe he started to abuse them a little. Or a lot. He didn't care though, not as long as he felt light, not as long as he could keep the darkness at bay. He could still smile when the drugs were just right. If he could just figure out where that "just right" line was before he tripped into the hospital, then life would be perfect again.
