Good evening, everyone. As my other threads always seem to fizzle out, I thought I would try another, this time with an actual plot in mind.
Some things you should know before I actual give a synopsis of the plot:
1) I am an adult and I work full-time. While I have access to a computer for my entire shift at work, my job comes first. Don’t expect me, then, to respond immediately to your post if you send it in the middle of the day. My work hours, for clarification, are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday EST.
2) Literate to advanced writing is non-negotiable. I can forgive grammatical and spelling errors easily enough, but I can’t flesh out your posts for you. Tell a story with your words. I don’t expect ten-paragraph responses all the time and, in all honesty, probably wouldn’t be able to meet that length myself. Somewhere between two and five meaty paragraphs, though, and a longer introduction is an easy enough standard to meet.
3) I am bail-friendly, but appreciate being told by my partner if they’re bailing. Common courtesy, you know?
4) I’ve never role played via Discord and I’ve never been a fan of role playing via threads. Therefore, this role play will take place either through PM or email.
5) Role play is about collaboration. If you want to bring something else into the story, tell me and I’m sure we can work something out.
All that said and done, onto the plot I have in mind. I would greatly prefer to play the female character and am looking for someone to play the male.
The two have absolutely nothing in common except for a love of music. She is a world-renowned classical pianist and he is an equally famous punk rocker. The media loves writing about the different charities her benefit concerts sponsor, while they constantly drag his name through the mud. She likes cats, he likes dogs. You get the picture.
Circumstances, however, force them into a musical collaboration. Her manager thinks it will help boost her ticket sales and give her broader accessibility. His manager thinks it will help clean up his bad-boy image and, hopefully, open the door to other collaborations.
And... yeah, I’m sad to say that that’s all I have right now. A work in progress, I know, but I hope it’s open enough to pique someone’s interest.
This is, by no means, the only plot I’m willing to play right now. If you have something else in mind, just shoot me a PM!
