Futuristic The next step...

Cassie Gabriel

Kai of house Thorne
It's the age 2157. Two years ago, the world was overwhelmed with the positive effects of gene splicing. Immunity to disease was easily obtained, physical prowess expanded exponentially and the human lifespan was able to be tripled, although every splice took up the bodies space or chromatic range. Those with triple the life span would never be able to be immune to all diease, those who were fast or could breath under water would not be able to expand their life span and et cetera... until the FDC was invented. The Fourth Dimensional chromosome seemed to offer an almost ever expansive set of chromatic space, lending to ultra powerful beings being created, overwhelming the worlds armed forces, specifically in the U.S.A, China, France, Mexico and all through out Africa. The United States partnered with France, Canada, Mexico and all of South America against Africa, China, Turkey, Greece and Afghanistan in what would be known as the war on the 4rth dimention in 2148, leaving the United States weakened but dominant along with the other "Allied forces."

This new time of healing lent to a new age of terrorism. On 2155, the terrorist group known only as "the subjects" released gas bombs all across the major cities in the U.S, leaving a critic video message stating "The United States will remember the day millions of children were killed in the assault of the New Southern Congo." From that day on, the United States has been ruled by hyper aggressive animals that live under the false title of "Humans." The gas turned every previously non-mutant into a less intelligent and more animal like variant of their previous selves.

Inside of a small underground U.S. base in northern Washington, 3 agents who have had the FDC used on them sleep in ice, waiting for the day they will be needed again. The last time they saw light, they had just gotten back from seizing control from the last standing country in Africa, Tanzania. A light turns on in the facility containing the 3 agents and all of their eyes pop open as a response to water based stimuli.

What kind of agent will you be? (There are only 2 open spots because i'm going to make an agent without a doubt.) With this all stated, I am a college student with a full time job. I will not be able to post multiple times a day or even every day. Now, this is why the auditions will become important. (as stated in the character sign up section) I will need everyone to be comfortable with their characters being role played for them in order to advance the plot quickly. Thank you, if you have any questions, please ask me.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_11/SOF_banner_RightsManagedImage.jpg.5ebdc2b56827f68cfe5669aff518ce81.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="34253" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_11/SOF_banner_RightsManagedImage.jpg.5ebdc2b56827f68cfe5669aff518ce81.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Cold steel against hard boots rings in a cold, grey, metallic hallway. LED's light the halls from the ceiling, casting their painfully bright light down on all below. Three people in white lab coats with glowing sheets of metal follow a muscular man in a black suit with black dress shoes. His face looks sharp, pale, grim, but confident. His eyes look over the coated followers softly as they arrive in front of a sleek, shiny door.

"This is it." He remarks, reaching out to a raised panel, sitting just to the side of the door. He taps a few shiny buttons followed by the door opening slightly, letting out some white gasses. "I'm sure the stasis worked but... I can't help but feel nervous." One of two male doctors said, lowering his glowing surface as he spoke. Everyone stayed silent after that while the door slowly rose, revealing a room with another console close to the front as well as three circles, carved into the walls furthest away. Each circle has a small opening, lit with green light. The green circle is surrounded with 3 smaller blue circles.

"York, you're free to operate." The female doctor says, walking over to the side of one circle, standing next to it. The other two doctors do the same, readying their glowing surfaces while York walks up to the console. Once again, he pushes a few buttons before a bright green handle pops out of the console. York takes out a small metallic wand with engravings on it and sticks it into a port just below the handle, turning it.

"Cryo disengagement lock disabled." A synthetic voice says from the console. York stiffly reaches out to the handle, waits a moment and then finally pulls the lever. Gas shoots out of the three blue circles noisily before a voice comes in. "Remember to stand away from the capsules while the specimens are extracted and revived." The same voice says while the capsules are pulled out of the wall in a spinning motion.

"Heat levels are rising perfectly." The female doctor says, looking at her glowing surface. York lets go of the switch and stands at the end of one fully pulled out capsule, his hands behind his back, legs open wide, standing with pride. "Lets give these agents a warm welcome, please." York says, turning to the exit. "Remember to send them first to the situation room so they can get fed and prepped." He says before leaving the room entirely, the door still open.
